  1. I have seen Corningware sets at Walmart.
  2. I just wanted to say that you have a great husband for supporting your shopping! : )
  3. I finally got some good deals at Kohls today. They had racks of women's bathing suit separates marked down (can't remember the price), which I recognize from last year. My deals were mostly in children's. It looks like they brought out a lot of stock from last year. 90% off: Toddler boys short-sleeve t-shirts Size 3T $1.00 Disney Cars 2 pack summer pajamas (includes 2 t-shirts & 2 pairs of shorts) Size 4T $3.20 (marked $6.40) Infant boys shorts $1.00 Toddler girls summer dresses -- Bluberri, Dora -- Sizes 2T and 3T $1.60 80% off: Toddler boys Sonoma long-sleeve t-shirts Sizes up to 4T $2.00 Diego flannel pajama set Size 4T $6.40 Toddler girls Sonoma long-sleeve t-shirts Sizes up to 4T $2.00 Disney Princess nightgowns with a magic wand Size 6 and 8 $6.00 High School Musical 5-pack lipsticks and 5-pack nailpolish sets $1.60 (I stocked up on these to add to birthday gifts and to throw in goody bags for my DD's birthday party) Girls boyshort underwear with monkeys, frogs, out of package Size Med - Large (7/8) $0.29 to $1.19 I also saw in the frame section there was a cute pink "Princess" sign with 3 pink frames hanging down from it for $2.99. They also had a purple "Party" one. They also had decorative iron art marked down to $9.99, I think. Girls boots were on sale for $13.99, regularly $35. Good deal, but I passed because my girls would only wear them for a few months now. I was not even supposed to be shopping, after all I spent at Target and Old Navy, but, I just cannot resist these good deals. Thanks, OP and everyone else, for posting their finds!
  4. Wow! That is an awesome sewing machine! My mom really needs a new one, so I will try to see if our Target has any left. Thanks for the picture!
  5. I have seen Mikasa at Macy's. Linens N Things.com says they carry some patterns. Try searching www.thefind.com, and see if you can find your pattern. Good luck!
  6. My SIL got most of her stuff at Babies R Us. They have a huge selection with a big price range. You might also try craigslist. I always see baby furniture on there.
  7. Try www.mytoybox.com. They have a 4 piece toddler bedding set for $37.50. Here is the link: http://www.mytoybox.com/TBG00168.html Includes: Bedspread Flat sheet Fitted sheet Pillowcase Here is another set for $34.99 in which SpongeBob is having a pillow right with some other guy: http://www.greatgiftsandtoys.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=833
  8. Wow! That is a great deal. I glanced through our children's racks, but there was nothing marked $1. You really lucked out.
  9. Has anyone been to Children's Place or the CP Outlet lately? I am searching for good winter deals for my DD6 for her next year's wardrobe. I really scored when the summer clothes went on sale for $2.99 and less. Thanks!
  10. Went to Target this afternoon. Found tons of women's clothing 75% off including sweaters, hoodies, short sleeved tops. Not many coats left. They had Hanes sweats for $1.62, but mostly size XL. Perfume sets were 75% off! They had: Jennifer Lopez "Still", Britney Spears "Curious", Paris Hilton, Phat Farm, David Beckham "Instinct", Adidas. Prices ranged from $4.98 to $7.48. Also found: Disney Princess lipgloss sets $0.74. Cars and Spiderman flannel twin sheet sets $4.98 Mens sweaters 75% off, around $6
  11. Went by Target yesterday afternoon to return stuff, but ended up buying even more stuff! I found: Girls fur-lined hoodie $19.99/$4.98 Girls soft velvet-type pants $14.99/$3.74 Girls Christmas dress $19.99/$4.98 Crayola Princess Cutter $19.99/$4.98 Crayola Pirates Modeling Kit $19.99/$4.98 Thomas the Train/Strawberry Shortcake/My Little Pony Bath Sets $2.48 -- These were just being marked down, and the employee was not too happy that I was waiting for her. ha ha. I did find one gold Baby Phat perfume set. It came up Item Not Found. I took it to one of the employees with a scanner, and she said it was $29.99. I put it back. Also, bulk items like toilet paper, ziploc bags, huggies diapers, dishwashing liquid were marked down 15%. Question: They had a bunch of Crayola Pirates Cutter sets. Is this something boys would be interested in? My girls love crafts, but was not sure about boys.
  12. I saw some at Kohls today for around $10 if you are still looking for some.
  13. I found a Disney Princess nightgown for $6 (80% off) today. They also had lots of Bobby Jack pajama sets for around $6.40. I didn't have time to go through all the women's racks.
  14. Thanks to everyone who posted about girls' clothing going 75% off. I went today and bought lots of cute flowery shirts ($2.98), printed hoodies ($3.24) and some knit pants (1.98 and $2.48) for my girls. Also found 2 Christmas dresses for $4.98. I went by toys, and there was one aisle of 75% off left. It was pretty bare, but I did find a Cabbage Patch Lil Sprouts set for $4.98 for my DD's birthday. She will love it.
  15. Wow, that is a great deal on the comforter set! I am heading there tomorrow to check out the clearance racks!
  16. I would try the La-Z-Boy store. They carry lots of leather recliners and couches. You should check out their website www.la-z-boy.com. They have lots of tips on caring for leather furniture.
  17. Oh, he sees the bills alright, and he actually even pays for them and never says a word. I think he thinks I am just buying toilet paper! ha ha! He knows I buy the kids clothes for next year and I stock up on toys, but he probably thinks I just pay regular price and just get a few items. I used to show him all the bags of stuff I would get from my shopping sprees and he would just get a blank look on his face, you know, like a deer in headlights. I figured I would save him the emotional trauma and just stash the stuff where he can't see it. I do have to do a lot of creative re-arranging all the time, though! :) Sometimes I wonder if it is worth it to spend so much time bargain shopping and re-arranging the closets, but in the end, I say, YES! It is worth it!
  18. Thanks again for the post! I went yesterday and found small bottles of 60 capsules with a "Try Me $10" sticker on them. So I picked up two bottles, but they rang up $2.69. With the B1G1F, I got 120 capsules for $2.69. I went ahead and bought 4 bottles total.
  19. I was so bummed because I went to my Target (in Folsom) on Wednesday and Thursday, and still no 75% off clearance. I bet it went 75% off today when I was at Old Navy! But, my mom, who is in Orange County, CA, got stuff for me at the Spectrum Target. She got: Crayola Princess Cutter sets $5 Crayola Mess-Free Sprayer Sets $5 Barbie Gymnastic Diva Stunt Stars (2 Barbies in a pack) $6.74 Bratz Costume Party dress up set $2.48 Hi Glamm long leg doll (I don't know what this is!) $2.48 Playskool Bounce and Go $6.98
  20. I do! I hide my stash in the garage, otherwise my DH would just say, "And who are all these toys for? Don't we have enough toys? Blah, blah, blah". ha ha! I also hid half of my Old Navy stash from today. Hey, if he doesn't see it, and doesn't notice new stuff around the house, then why bother? I feel like I am saving us lots of money, so I should get these good deals.
  21. Thanks everyone for the advice. I will try anything to relieve some pain at this point. I will try to stop by Walgreens tomorrow to see if our store has any left.
  22. Our toys were still at 30 to 50% off today, as of 1pm. There was a woman in the toy section with a scanner, but she just marked down solar lights to 75% off. I kept checking back, but she did not remark any toys. I did find 2 Disney Princess sets with a play hair dryer, curling iron and makeup for $3.74. One was only marked $7.48, but it rang up at $3.74. I found some girls shirts, tank tops and jeans for 75% off, but they mostly had sizes XS, L and XL. Also found some nice boys rugby shirts and long-sleeved shirts for $1.98 and $2.24. I think I will check back tomorrow to see if toys have gone to 75% off. I am so anxious to catch that sale. My one good deal was a Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer DVD. It rang up at $12.99, but I mentioned to the cashier that it was a Christmas item, and shouldn't it be 90% off? He gave it to me for $1.30. My kids will love it.
  23. Kohls has a good selection of dresses that might be appropriate for your daughter. You can check Juniors, and also the Daisy Fuentes line. I got a really nice black dress from the Daisy Fuentes line for $30, and I get so many compliments on it. They also now carry the Elle line. Also, if you have a Jessica McClintock outlet nearby, they have really great deals on dresses. I got 2 really nice dresses from there a few years ago for $25 apiece.
  24. I bought my daughter a set of sheets at Marshalls for $19.99 a few years ago. They are fabulous! They are so soft and never come out wrinkled. They are the Maggie and Zoe brand and have fairies on them. I have seen cheaper sets at Ross, but they always seemed rough to me. If your daughter wants solid or simply designed color sheets, then Linens N Things always has good deals. I like the cotton sateen sets because they don't seem to wrinkle that much.
  25. Our store did not have the 90% off sale. There were items at 75% off, but nothing I was interested in. My 3 year old convinced me to buy 2 rubber duckies for $1 each, you know, for good behavior : )
