  1. I got my coupon yesterday! I can't wait to go shopping!
  2. I saw those on clearance today for 50% off. Some umbrellas were marked 50% off ($3.48), but the Dora and Littlest Pet Shop ones were 75% off ($1.98). I took up a few umbrellas to the cashier, and she gave them all to me for $1.98 each. I bought 9 -- 2 for my girls and the rest for gifts.
  3. My FIL used to send us fruit every month, but I don't remember the company. After getting severl cartons of half-rotten fruit, I finally decided to call the company to let them know. They were really nice and happily replaced it. I exchanged my rotten fruit for a cheesecake! So if you do end up with bad fruit, call the company and see if they will send out a replacement.
  4. After what happened with Sharper Image gift cards, I would definitely use your GC right away.
  5. I love Joanne's. Their clearance is awesome. Too bad our closest one is 30 minutes away. I hope some of you find some good deals!
  6. Wow! You got a great deal! Congrats to you! My SIL once found shorts at Macy's that rang up as $0.01. I later found out that when the price goes to a penny, the merchandise is not supposed to be sold. It looks like you lucked out with this one!
  7. When we re-did our master bedroom, I bought extra sheets that matched our comforter set. I used the sheets and made curtains and valances out of them. I was going to cover a lamp, but I never got around to that. If you find sheets on clearance, this might work out for you. Also, if you consider using solid color fabric, that will be cheaper. We just re-upholstered our dining room chairs from chenille fabric bought at Walmart for around $3/yard (spent less than $10 to cover 6 chairs). I think different solid colors -- tan, brown, green -- would look really cool in the monkey room. I love chenille fabric because it is easy to clean.
  8. Here you go: http://www.childrensplace.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/EmailJump?storeId=10001&langId=-1&catalogId=10001&jumpId=AprilBCC&age=4&CodeId=CLUBEJV7XQF48&cm_ven=Emails&cm_cat=040108&cm_pla=AprilBirthdayClub&cm_ite=CouponT
  9. I used my coupon yesterday to buy girls underwear ($0.59), black knit pants for me ($3.60) and one other thing that I can't remember. I think I paid around $3 OOP. Our Kohls did not have that much marked 90% off like some other people posted. No purses were marked that low. There were a bunch of men's sweaters for $5, but I don't know any man who likes sweaters.
  10. What an awesome deal on the purses! I am going there tomorrow to see what I can find.
  11. Today at Target in the Dollar Spot, they had a few rubber dog toys for $0.25. These are only the blue dot items that are $0.25.
  12. My DD6 had so many teachers last year in preschool. I think there were 4 teachers, plus aides. So I stocked up on hand creams from Bath and Body Works and Victoria's Secret when they had a good sale. I think I paid around $3 each. I know it's not the same as needed supplies, but I couldn't afford spending more than $5 for 9 teachers. I had my DD make cards for all of them, and I wrote a special personal message to them from her. They really loved the cards. At the end of the year, I made flower pens and stuck them in a pretty vase for 2 of her teachers. They were a big hit. I think even if you do something small like a card and a flower pen or pack of pretty post-it notes, then that would be appreciated. If you can get other moms to go in with you, you can do something that costs more. Personally, I like giving my own gifts.
  13. I think you will be happy with these towels. You got a really good price for them. Similar towels can cost $19.99 or more. I think I paid $9.99 for the bath towels and $7.99 for the hand towels.
  14. Went by Target today to check out the 75% off Dollar Spot. I picked up some Elmo books. They had some cute Elmo drawstring type bags, but I didn't get them because they seemed difficult to open. No batteries here. My SIL in So Cal went to the Spectrum Target on Sunday and found some cute kid purses and socks. I looked for the Spiderman web blaster, but they were all gone. Easter was pretty picked over. Mostly baskets and eggs.
  15. My friend had to wear those when she was pregnant, even in the summer. You may want to try a maternity store. Maybe they will be a little roomier. I think they are supposed to be tight to help with the blood clots. I think my friend got the support stockings online. Here is one site that has them: http://store.babycenter.com/product/code/3951.do?scid=SSE:BZRT&srccode=cii_10043468&cpncode=12-45312889-2 Good luck!
  16. The Dollar Tree and 99 cent store have some pet toys and supplies that might work.
  17. I have these for my kids and for guests. They are very thick and soft. They have held up well in the wash.
  18. Check above. The coupon I previously posted expires on March 31, 2008.
  19. That seems like it should be illegal. I bet there are going to be a lot of angry customers out there.
  20. My DD3 (almost 4) weighs 25 lbs and is also very slim. We have had luck at Children's Place. The jeans are cute with adjustable waists, which really don't look all that bunched up on her. Old Navy's pants run small, also. I was in there on Friday and saw that a lot of Spring and Winter items were 75% off, so you may get a deal there.
  21. Yes, it is a Walmart brand. I have bought underwear with that brand, but they were discontinued. The website does not have everything that the stores do, so you should probably stop by and check your local Walmart.
  22. I went to TCP Outlet yesterday. They marked down their winter clearance even more. Most girls long-sleeved shirts, sweaters and jackets are $1.99 and $2.99. They also had more of the fold-over yoga type leggings for $1.99, and corduroys for $2.99. Fleece nightgowns were $2.99. Toddler boys sweaters, sweatpants and shirts were $1.99. I bought a few of the girls long-sleeved shirts with sparkly hearts on them for $1.99. These were the sames ones I bought a few weeks ago for $3.99, so I am returning them on my old receipt.
  23. Usually you don't even have to buy 10 items to get the sale price. Sometimes it is hard to find 10 items to buy, even at a great price. Just check with the sales associate.
  24. I just found a current coupon good through March 31, 2008! http://www.childrensplace.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/EmailJump?SID=63596-10-0-COUPON-0&storeId=10001&langId=-1&catalogId=10001&jumpId=MarchBCC&age=13&CodeId=CLUBEKYMX1D38&cm_ven=Emails&cm_cat=030108&cm_pla=MarchBirthdayClub&cm_ite=CouponT
  25. Does anyone have a current 20% off coupon? The last one expired on March 9. Thanks!
