I did something similar, but not for Christmas. We went to Paris and London last year and I ended up buying the Eiffel Tower (the big set $$$) and the Tower Bridge. It's cool to make the connection. Sounds like you made a good deal. Enjoy your trip and building your set( if you decide to).

Email the seller on Ebay and see if he will end the auction early and offer a price win expedited shipping. They might do it if they are trying to unload it for some quick cash.

I bought a bunch of blu-rays from Best Buy and Walmart online. Went out on Black Friday and found some I paid $9.99 for $5.99 at the NEX(Navy Exchange) such as Dwayne Johnson's Hercules. I had to do some returning, lol. But I guess it's better to be safe than sorry. What I like about Best Buy's store pick-up is that if you don't pick it up, it gets cancelled. Saved me a trip for a refund, lol.

Kim3498, I never could get that link to work. I am an Elite+ member, but I don't think that had anything to do with it. Best Buy (and others) have made similar mistakes on their web pages over the years. That is how I was able to buy some exclusive/doorbusters in the past. It is also why my signature says ' Don't get cancelled' because that was the result sometimes .

Ended up getting the Xbox One for $329 at Kohl's. Spent a few more dollars and ended up with $105 in Kohl's cash. Which to me makes it $225 for me, because my wife will spend that Kohl's cash anyways. I picked this up Friday morning, 12 hours AFTER Kohl's had opened. I guess most don't thinly to look for games at Kohl's. Actually I think it was one of the better deals. Target had a $50 GC, but I think I still came out ahead, lol.

Lego Movie 3D is available online at Target for $9. I thought Amazon had it for $3.99 for a while, but when I checked just now it was $17 .

Element 40 in .......GONE! (well...one of them, lol) I think people snagged it at $199....maybe they thought it was the $119 price, lol. I almost did when it dropped and had to think about it.
