  1. Link? I don't see anything about time (other than the countdown clock on one page I found) or else they removed it. The clock apears to be EST for Midnight on the 28th (unless I'm wrong, but I'm taking into account DLST).
  2. Pretty much all times should be your time zone. Online hours are totally different than store times, but it is usually one time for the start. Whether it's EST or PST depends on the store's online site. Like mentioned above, this site will keep you posted on when those store's websites start their sales (but it won't be on this page). For those wondering about putting out all the times for store openings, my plan is to wait until the times are 'official' (meaning when we have word from Brad or we see it when the ad is released. If Brad wants 'unofficial' hours posted I will do that). I'd hate to post hours (unofficial) and everyone makes plans then find out later they were wrong and it screws up everyone's shopping plans.
  3. Thanks everyone for the input. I will try to get this updated this weekend (I have a LOT of unpacking to do first). I've got a list of most store hours already (thanks arci122), just need to take a few minutes to get it done (but I will).
  4. I got a pair of Solos last year for $139 at the NEX(military only).

  6. Wow! Macy's was out early this year.
  7. Jaymacfla, that one was funny, lol.
  8. While we are waiting for the ads to appear , I have a question for all; How long have you been shopping Black Friday? BF has been around a while. We (my DW and I) have been shopping BF for about 20 years now. We started when our DS was a babe and have been doing it ever since. We used to get in line at three in the morning at KB/Toy Castle. Our shopping later moved to COMPUSA and other stores over the years.
  9. Worked great. Some glitches, but nothing unbearable. Video and sound work good. My only gripe was I forgot there were two links. One for 'Ask a question' and one or 'Answer Trivia'. I'll have to remember to use the right one, lol.
  10. Ready to go!
  11. Test SAT! (I logged into Livestream to make sure I had my password correct)
  12. If he didn't come back...I was going to try to do it, lol. Only problem is, I'd probably have a lot of dead air, lol. Hurry up BJS! I don't want to do my own show .
  13. I thought there was a Chromebook last year for $150? Then again, I wasn't looking so I don't really recall. Yeah, I can see ultrabooks coming down in price. I beleive we saw $199 desktop PCs in the last year or so, though not good for much other than surfing, lol.
  14. Things can't get much cheaper on the low end it seems. We've seen sub $50 blu-ray players and sub $200 laptops. Even tablet prices have dropped (though not the bigger names). How much lower will blu-ray players and laptops go? Maybe a $150 laptop?
  15. Picked up a few Star Wars sets.
  16. What kills me is one of the ideas behind the FIRST Kindles was to make a display (e-ink or whatever) that was easy on the eyes, so there was no eyestrain from reading on a computer. Which is great. The paperwhite I assume is still meeting that requirement, but they made it 'white' to look more like a book. The funny part is Kindle Fires (and apps for other devices) are made and contradict that idea of eyestrain prevention. I guess thats why they still make regular Kindles but give you the option to read on any device. I'm not complaining, because I use my e-ink Kindle for reading more than my Windows R/T or iPad (even though I have the option).
  17. He's back.
  18. My Turkey from the last few years. I've got more orange lights for the tree inside .
  19. 10/4 Harbor Freight
  20. Amazon just released new Kindles. The new Kindle 7 HD (8GB) can be had for $139! Not bad.
  21. Only problem is, there are no Chanukkah sales.
  22. I'm going to try to grab some of the ones at Target now (they are not for Christmas). More than likely these won't be on sale at BF. Sometimes it's a certain series and almost never Star Wars (unless it's one chosen 'large' set). TRU used to do a large SW set every year, but the last one or two they haven't had one .
  23. I don't think we will see earlier times, but we may see more stores opening earlier. I would rather they wait until at least midnight. I hate the idea of shopping on TD; too much family, turkey and football going on .
