  1. I was waiting for the 'official' word, but since the ad leaked briefly today, I'll post it . I've got the first two pages, lol.
  2. I just say 'Alexa, turn on Christmas' and all of our decorations come on; mantle lights, tree lights, rope lights or whatever else we have hooked up. Like the remotes, it saves on having to bend over and reach behind the tree and such to turn things on. Of course, Alexa and such devices also cost a little more than these remotes so this is a cheaper alternative.
  3. Winter is coming. Unique and everyone could use this: ORDER NOW! https://www.amazon.com/Japan-Health-Personal-Care-cheeks/dp/B00ZI5DUAE/ref=sr_1_13_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1508208513&sr=8-13&keywords=butt%2Bwarmer&th=1

  5. Must . Resist. 4K. (for at least another year. I'm trying not to buy one this year, lol)
  6. Clearance! Looking at the new Echos, you don't gain much. Better speakers and microphones and fabric choices. The Plus model will not be for everyone as it will be kind of limited in smarthome connections. The Spot is an alarm clock with a small screen (show). I did pre-order the connect for phone calls. I was kind of disappointed in the new Echos. I was hoping for something 'groundbreaking'. BTW, buy a portable battery/stand for your Echo. I love moving mine around or taking it outside. That is something else they missed; portability.
  7. I shop all year. Yes, BF is a big part of it, but if I see things that are a good deal throughout the year, I sometimes pick them up. I then store them and wait for Christmas, lol. GottaDeal can be used all year .
  8. Ok, its 4:50 AM. Adding to my list I was able to get a GoPro 5 black for $309 after $50 instant savings and $20 GC ($379-$70) thru AAFES. I got Battlefield 1 for the PC for $30 (x2, one for me and one for my son) at Best Buy. Picked up the PS4 version of Star Wars Battlefront Ultimate Edition (whatever that means) for $20 at Best Buy. Getting my list knocked down.
  9. It sold out shortly after you got it, but came back in stock around 2 am; got one for my niece.
  10. Still shopping, but so far; Sonicare from Sam's Club, and about 18 blu-rays :runaway:from Best Buy and Walmart. Great deals as a lot were under $10 ea. Lot's of recent releases: Beauty and the Beast, The Jungle Book, Star Trek: Beyond and several TV seasons (Flash, Gotham and such @ $15 ea). BTW, the Online BF Tracker worked great. It took me right to the movies I wanted to buy. Thanks to everyone who help put it together along with Stationchief's charts.
  11. Send the puppy down to Virginia; we'll take care of it for you.
  12. Glad to hear you are ok Stationchief. That sounds like an ordeal. It's been a rough year for GDers. BJS has some family issues, you were in a terrible accident and we have a new president elect. And before anyone freaks out about my comment; it's a joke.
  13. Last years set is $109 on Amazon right now. It was $200? There is also a new box set that is more slim line and has no swag for $78. As Brad mentioned, watch for the lightning deals. I have a feeling if that new set goes on sale, it could got as low as $49. In reality though, if it goes on sale, it might be $59. Still cheaper than last year either way.
  14. I've seen the Echo in ads for as low as $129 (I think Navy Exchange (NEX)) and the Dots are averaging $39.99 at most stores. I imagine Amazon will match the Dot price at least. I'll probably get a dot for the bedroom and put one in the family room hooked up to my audio receiver. I might move my Echo to the kitchen for playing music while cooking. I use it for that now, but it's in the family room and you have to have the volume a little louder.
  15. Yeah, I was disappointed as well. It seems like their ad is the same each year. The basics are always there. The only good part could be a mystery sale (or whatever they called it last year). They had some good unadvertised sales last year.
  16. One and 1/2 stars for reviews on Amazon. Don't worry though, they are just people crying because they couldn't get one, lol.
  17. Thanks BJS, glad you could indulge us, lol. Look forward to the next one along with any Ray might do as well.
  18. I doesn't really change anything for me and that goes for no matter who won. Same paycheck; same spending plan.
  19. Christmas Eve is a mix of different things each year. Usually finger foods and such as everyone is in a hurry finalizing things and running to evening church service. We thought about doing our Christmas dinner this year on Christmas Eve and just have leftovers on Christmas Day; just to make the day easier and more relaxing (especially this year since it's on Sunday). Dinner is usually like Thanksgiving - turkey, ham, stuffing and such - but we change up the side dishes so it is not quite the same.
  20. I've looked at a few; mainly the last two or three years. I need to go look at 2005 (my first year). I do love going back and looking at the past ads. Over the years I have saved most of the major ads (PDFs). I like to compare prices from years ago until now.
  21. Each store varies on this. Some don't give a time and when they do, sometimes they are late coming online. Best Buy is notorious for bringing things online a little at a time. It can be frustrating. Some stores will start at midnight EST others will say midnight PST (which is 3 am EST). Just read carefully. Brad might have online times at some point that he will post, but like I said; stores are not always spot on with starting at said times. Keep a watch out for online opening threads. BTW welcome to posting in GottaDeal threads! (no more lurking )
  22. I can't make it tonight. Hopefully all goes well.
  23. As I mentioned it has been $10 cheaper. You can weigh the pros and cons to see if it's worth it to wait and save $10 or just grab it now. For me; I'd wait but don't do it because I would. I believe it will go cheaper (in September it was $89), but have no guarantee.
