  1. I've known most of this for years. I love scanning the orange stickers for a better price or finding something without a price and seeing how low they will go. I've gotten great LEGO sets that were $50 for as low as $12.44. Makes great b-day gifts for family members, they think you spent more.
  2. It NEVER goes on sale cheaper. Only way to get it cheaper is to find it online, like Overstock, and see if they have any 10% coupon codes or such. That will save you about $15, but then you pay some shipping. Might do better to just buy it outright locally. Military stores ,NEX and AAFES, have no tax on thrie items if you are military. Hope it works out with EBgames.
  3. I got the Disney one for $17.00 back in October at a special sale at our NEX store.

    Holiday Birthday

Just remember the 'Reason for the Season' That is the birthday we are celebrating.
  5. I have the Canon ZR85. I got it last year at BB for $240 after rebates. I have had no problems with it. It is my main camcorder. Very nice picture. It is basically the same as the ZR200, I believe, so I would recommend it. It depends on your budget too.
  6. I got a JVC S-VHS camcorder for $99 out the door at a midnight madness type sale at my local NEX. Not bad. Also got a Fuji 5.2 MP(E510 I think)camera for $99. It's at Target for $250.
  7. I got a Fuji 5.2 MP camera for $99 w/ free 64 mb card. Got a (new model) Sony dvd/vcr (non-recording dvd) for $50. Also a JVC one, same price. Got a JVC S-VHS camcorder for $99. Rio 512 MP3 player for $29. Audiovox portable DVD player for $49. XBOX 360 for $399:D (first day, only a 2 hour wait:tongue1: ). And a 27 Westinghouse flat panel HDTV for $589(Beautiful picture). That's most of it. There is more, I'm but done typing.
  8. Best Buy's website says 'Sold Out', it did say 'Coming Soon'. I think they had them online early this morning. I think CompUSA might have had them online also. I'm sure people will be posting their results soon. :)
  9. I'd say at least 5 hours before they open.
  10. Currently I love the animated Office Max commerical of Rubberband Man. The making of it on their website has some good stuff on it too(bloopers). But my all time favorite was the Norelco Santa! It ended in the early 90s and they tried to redo it using a modern version, but it was never as good as the original. I wish they would re-air that one.
  11. I got mine the first day. Heard my NEX store was going to have them from a sign posted on the door the night before. Wasn't really sure if I was going to buy one or not. Asked my wife what she was doing the next morning and she said 'nothing'. So I told her and she said she would get it. Took her to work with me and dropped her off at 7am. She was number 12 in line when the doors opened at 9am. Not bad for a two hour wait. No real hard-core camping here. She said it was done very orderly: step in, you were handed one, you payed, and out the door.

    SCAMMED by ALL

Got a reply from Target today. They offered me another Star Wars Lego set for the same price. Not as much savings, but a nice gesture on their part. Hard to believe they were going out of their way to make it right. Thanks Target.

    SCAMMED by ALL

Yeah, I've got TRU screenshot, Target confirmation, and BB confirmation and screenshot of my cart at checkout. I should raise heck.
  15. I got my order already. Not my legos I wanted(see SCAMMED by ALL thread), but a game for a nephew. Very quick shipping considering where I live. Also a Target item(again, not legos) came yesterday. Both basically the same (Amazon) shipping.

I feel like I was scammed by everyone on BF on the internet. It started with ToysRus. I was trying to purchase the lego X-Wing fighter for $25. Put it in my cart and went to check-out. By the time I added my info, BAM!, it was gone, removed from my cart:bs: . Checked the site and could not longer order. Tried again later and they did it again(took a screen shot to show you could order it). Never did get it. Next was Target. Ordered the Lego Millenium Falcon for $49, ad said it would be online for that price. Put it in my cart and went to check-out. By the time I added my info, BAM!, it was gone, removed from my cart:bs: . I tried again and made it thru checkout, Whew, I'm safe. My child will be happy. He really wanted it. 3 or 4 days later, BAM! Got a cancellation. Then the infamous BB laptop deal. Ordered it online and 12 hours later, BAM! Cancellation:bs: Hard to believe 3 sites got me. I will be writing to their offices. Other than that, I did get some nice things here and there. I guess it's best to stand in line though.
  17. When we went last year, it was easy. We also got a free candybar with it too.(ooohhhhh) But the line never reached 200, we were tempted to take-off our jackets and run thru again. But, we are not those type of people.
  18. They did this last year for several weeks in a row. We accumulated 5 or 6 of them between two of us. One week, we filled out forms in every department, hoping to win a $50 gift card or something in a certain department. We got a phone call a week or so later and won the grand prize: $500 gift card in ANY department. We bought a new big screen tv. I went on a Saturday morning to buy it and you got an extra 10% off before noon. They didn't have the tv I wanted and said they would give me $300 off any other tv to make up for it. Ended up paying under $800 for a $1800 HDTV. Thanks SEARS!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. What sales? I never seen anyone mention it really. They had one or two things here on the 'DEALS' page, but that was it. We were shafted.
  20. We put a Gamecube game in our son's stocking. He found it and informed us he had a PS2. We 'played dumb' and said we would exchange it; until he unwrapped his Gamecube, LOL.
