Forget the Arcade version. You will need the hard drive and it will cost a fortune to buy the memory cards. The PRO(60GB) version is going away. It is $249 right now, but once it is gone, it is gone. They will only have the Arcade and Elite soon. The Elite is $299 now, not bad, but around BF, there will be some good deals. They usually add a few games in the box, like last year, basically for free. Then watch for Dell.com to put it on sale at 20% off, and you've got a great deal. You'll have to watch Dell, the sale comes and goes quickly.

Yeah, when you camp out like you do, that's all you have time for;), lol.

I haven't seen any fighting:gdboxer:, but I have seen some rude people:nahnah:. I've seen people grab stuff out of other peoples hands, but not fighting. Well, I guess there is always THIS year:tongue1:!

I always liked Circuit City, but disliked the check-out process. There was only like one or two registers, lol. But I did always find great deals. I had bought a $300 laptop about two years ago(still have it and my son loves it) on BF and I got the Wii the FIRST DAY online with Free Shipping, something BestBuy rarely does. I never had a problem with rebates. When a new movie was released, a lot of times you could find they had it for a dollar or two cheaper than everyone else. It was usually somewhere in the ad, not necessarily on the front page. I will miss Circuit City(old).

$5 MP3 credit when buying a free game @ amazon.com
bpr replied to jmyersfl's topic in Online Hot Deals
Hey, I'll take a FREE $5 gift. Thanks for the post. Now to find some songs to spend it on. -
I recently watched Charlie Brown and Home Alone. Of course I watched 'A Christmas Story'(my favorite) because I just bought it on Blu-ray. I'm currently building my Christmas Blu-ray collection. I just bought 'Elf' and want 'Jingle All the Way' and 'Polar Express' on Blu-ray.

I got a new laptop, a Blu-ray player, and stereo receiver last year. I don't really need any new electronics. Maybe an upgrade for the computer like an external hard drive. My son will look at the Star Wars Legos. I will probably look for deals on Blu-rays and games. That's all I can think of.

MS Office Home and Student 2007 at Office Max $79.99
bpr replied to DramaQueenLucy's topic in Online Hot Deals
Word Processing is the main function, good for writing papers in high school, college, or at work. It also includes Excel to make spreadsheets and PowerPoint to make slideshows for presentations. This is the most popular program out there for this type of work. There are some free similar programs, but MS Office is the 'standard'. Good deal for what you get. It does NOT include Outlook, which is great for email. -
Oh yeah, I forgot to add ToysRus. My son looks for the Star Wars Legos to go on sale.

It has varied over the years. When our son was younger, the first store was KB Toys and Wal-mart. Now that he is older, his taste have changed, so now it is BB, Target, Sears, and maybe an Office supply store. Circuit City was in there too before they went under and the name was bought out by TigerDirects parent company. It's all based on who has what and who has the most in their store that we want to purchase. If it's one item, that store is probably going to be last, unless it is a big ticket item. The problem is, I don't really NEED anything. I got a new laptop, a Blu-ray player, and stereo receiver last year. I don't really need any new electronics. Maybe an upgrade for the computer. Uh oh...getting off topic, lol.

Each year I save the scans because you never know if they will have to be 'pulled'. Every once in a while I accidently open the old 'BF' folder on my computer and then take a moment to 'reminisce' over the last years deals, lol.
-
Actually, I lo:heart:e hunting for great deals. It's not just BF(but that does get my juices flowing), I look for deals all year. But mostly between October and Christmas.
-
Why not?

I'm ready!(I just hope I'm around this season) It's hard to believe I'm already thinking about BF. I can't wait!

I've never camped, but have been in line at BB around 2 am and was about number 10 inline. That was in 2004. I have been out of the country for a few years and it seems to have gotten worse. I have no idea what I will do this year, even if I'm around.

Thanks OP! Used $10 off $25 code...worked great! -
Cancelled again!!! So to speak. I went thru the whole process. Purchased in-stock, went thru check out, got to last page to confirm and said it was removed because it wasn't in-stock. It's funny...I got nothing but they put a hold on my account at bank. Idiots. I called and the stores will not price match. I called the website and said they could do nothing, they will just hold my money, so to speak. Don't bother! Dead deal!

Only number 1 is that price. The others are mostly $45 and number 7 is $70. But overall, still a great deal to start the collection;). -
