Women's Oakley Fate Hot Pink Sunglasses $19+3.91 s/h@oakleyvault.com
bpr replied to elite2058's topic in Online Hot Deals
The prices have gone up by $10. The page has them for one price, but once you click it, the price changes . -
I thought you had to change it FROM auto-renew? You might want to check your settings just in case. I did the trial last year at the end of October and it got me thru the BF season. I used the heck out of it with my Blu-ray player and lots of movies, lol. I doubt it. I think I read that it was a one time shot. You would have thought they would have tried to sway me and offer to keep it at a cheaper price. I think $79 is WAY too much. If it was half that, I might think about it.

Well, it looks like the deal is over . I tried it to see if it worked on the other versions and it doesn't work on any of them. Hopefully they will have another sale before Christmas where you can get this deal. Disney has a website where you can print(I'm not sure if you can use it online) a coupon if you owned the regular Platinum DVD from a few years ago. I heard that you could not use the coupon online and maybe that is why Amazon had this deal. If interested in the coupon, PM me and I'll send you the website. I might create another forum for that site in another category, but I'm feeling kind of lazy at the moment (long day), lol.

I voted for the same as previous, but it will be less. My family (brothers and sisters) decided that we were just buying for nieces and nephews from now on and not each other. Plus, my son is older now and doesn't want or need anything....hmmm. He doesn't need anything so I will try to come up with something. Maybe he will want a few new games and some CDs, but he has an iPod, all games systems and such, so he says don't worry about it, lol.

This code also works on the other versions of the Snow White Blu-rays. There is a $40 version with a book, I believe a $60 version with beanies, and a $150 collectors version. So there are lots of choices to use the code on.

Yeah, that's what I was trying to say...that if Amazon lowers the price before it ships, you might save a little more with their guarantee:yup:.
-
Yeah, I couldn't really figure out what the difference was. The $25 one mentions that it is the 'DVD' cover, the other is the Blu-ray cover. I guess the $25 one looks like the regular dvd package. Whatever(I couldn't figure it out:confused:)...I bought the cheaper one and Fireproof on Blu-ray so the shipping wasn't an issue, it was still free.

You don't have to go back 10 years. Back in 2004, Sears gave out $10 gift cards(the conj mentioned above) every Saturday for a month if I remember correctly. You had to be one of the first 50 or 100 people in each store. So we would get two, one for me and one for the wife. It adds up quick. The cool part is my wife signed up for gift card giveaways. They were for each department, such as $50 in homeware, $20 in boys clothing and maybe $250 in Electronics/ Appliances. My wife won the grand prize drawing for a $500 GC to be used ANYWHERE in the store. We ended up using the $500 and the smaller $10(7, I think) gift cards on a 51 inch HDTV. $570 dollars for free was great!

Yeah, but for the price, you get the Blu-ray and regular DVD. You can't beat it(unless Amazon puts it on sale before it ships;))

You are NEVER too old!

Amazon has a $10 discount code off the purchase of the Blu-ray of 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs'. Just type the code "snowhite" (only one W) at checkout. The combo edition is $24.99 minus the code, brings the final price to $14.99:eyepoppin!!! Updated: NOW $9.99 with the code(5 Oct) ACT NOW!

I can't think of any items I regret. I may regret having bought too many great deals, lol. The only thing I've hated over the years(slightly off subject) is my wife buying 'little' items under $10 as 'extra' gifts or whatnots. If you add up all of those 'little' gifts, you could have had something nicer with the money spent on those items:tongue1:.

With the newer version out, I imagine this model will be had at Christmas for $99, maybe less for BF.

ToysRus has had a few Star Wars LEGO deals in the last few years for BlackFriday. My son got the MTT from Episode 1 for around $60, normally $100. The same with the Star Destroyer, but it was at Target.

Price of Wii dropping to $199 at the beginning of Oct.
bpr replied to cashandra's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Sorry about that. I don't get to play it much with my family since I'm deployed a lot. But we do have four controllers, so I couldn't remember exactly what came with it. Well if the price reduction is true, then it will be a great deal;). 'Don't be surprised if they do the same trick that they have done in the past and only include one controller.' See they got us when they first released it, lol. -
I don't NEED anything, but here are some things that I will look at: -HD Zune (need to see reviews, but still don't know if I want to pay that much, my old one is still great) -Blu-ray movies under $15 -XBOX/PS3/Wii games -and whatever cheap electronic gadget that might be cool(like I said, I don't NEED anything:rolleyes:)

We got ours the first day it came out a few years ago; we love it. This would be a great deal if it comes to pass. Don't be surprised if they do the same trick that they have done in the past and only include one controller:eyepoppin. Look at Nintendo's track record and you will see that that is how they operate:yup:. By the time you buy the second controller, the price really only drops about $20 to $30 dollars:shock:. -
We don't have a store near us:(. Online I don't remember seeing anything, maybe free shipping.

Who has done some shopping for xmas already?
bpr replied to cc1824's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
We shop all year. Parents and such don't need the latest and greatest to be happy, so when we find something that we want to buy them at a good price, we go for it. Surfing this site helps also . -
Usually with my wife and son. I have also been shopping with my brother while she is with her sister, that way we cover more ground. My son has been great over the years. When he was younger, we'd have him squeeze into small places to grab stuff:bump: while the adults were fighting over things:chairshot. Now that he is bigger, he can 'bully' his way in to grab stuff, lol. No actually, we split up in BestBuy or wherever and then meet up at the register. First one to accomplish their 'mission' wins:gdrunner:, lol.

As for the ring of death? I've still got one of the first 360's on the market. No problem and it has always been laid flat. Some say the first ones were messing up disc if you set it up on it's end, but I can't say either way.
