I did two separate orders and used both DDAF and SUPERSALE in the last week. Both worked fine for me. -
Veggie Tales: Nativity Set $19.99 @ toysrus.com

My son is past this age group, but we still enjoy watching his old Veggie Tales DVDs. -
I've been stuck in BB before. I had to wait to get my items at various stations throughout the store. You had to fight through the crowd to get to each one. Then had to locate your non-ticket items going back into the middle of the mob. Even with all their registers I had to wait another 30 minutes. Slightly off subject: When I've gone to tent sales at my local NEX, they bring out several extra registers and set them up outside. I know most CC only have 2 registers in the front. They should at least be prepared and setup some temps for the sale.
-
Yeah, that as a good deal!
-
I was in and out of CC (got my laptop) in less than three minutes...oh, wait,..... that was online;).
-
I got the $299(AR) laptop online at CC. It was a DoorBuster;). But I'm not selling.
-
Don't get me started on Ebay:splat:. I can't stand these people selling laptops or whatever, just to make a buck. You see these on the auction sites with photos showig 20 Wii's. That is GREED! Yeah, they put in their time, but only to make money. They are not doing it to help 'you' get that laptop or Wii because you had to work or something. It's all about how they can make a buck. I wouldn't buy from one of them. I'm beginning that about 30-50% of the people getting 'door-busters are' doing that. Drag the family, get one for yourself and three more to re-sell.

My last package from them about two weeks ago was the same way.

Got one of these last year for my neice. Great item! -
PC2-5300 is backwards compatible. It should not be a problem. If the laptop does not support 5300 (667mhz), then it will run at the 4200 speed.

I would have tried for something.

I got both of these. Bought the HP 6607 pretty much knowing BB was not going to put their Sony $399 on the web. I figured, what's $50, close to same specs. I later scored the Compaq $299(AR) at CC. Again, both are close in specs. The HP I've seen before and know it will 'look' nicer. The Compaq(also made by HP) seems to have a smaller hard drive (80 vs 160), but has a better graphics card:gdlicklips:. Hmm..now to decide which one I keep and which one goes to another family member.

I'd get back out there. See if you can print a copy of the sale from the website. That way you can show them the brand names. -
I would have handed over the tickets I decided not to use to the first person who wanted them, shake their hand and say' MERRY CHRISTMAS'!
-
I agree with Lindabacker. Last years incident was not quite 'ethical', for lack of a better term. You should have no problems. Good luck.

Why would you buy a ticket for an item? The seller is trying to make a buck so he can cut his losses. If he sells a ticket ($20-50 maybe? Depending on the item) he makes a profit. The person buying it is losing now. He just increased the price of whatever he bought. He could probably have stayed home and bought a similar item online for the difference he forked out. Ex. BB had a Sony laptop for $399. The #12 guy sells his ticket to someone else for (est)$50. He just made $50 to use on his other items. The other guy just increased the price of his Sony to $450. He coud have bought a very comparable HP online for $450 and saved the hassle or got in another line at another store for more deals. Does that make sense?

I got mine. So apparently, they did put it put online for a short time. They also had the 32 in Element LCD.
-
I was trying to get this online. I went back to the CC ad and looked at the laptop for $299. I copied the model number into the search. When it came up it had that big beautiful green button 'Add to cart'. I was happy.

Let's see: BestBuy Madden 08 (PS3) $10 Tony Hawk Project (360) $15 2GB Jump drive $15 Lois & Clark S3 $15 HP DV6607NR Laptop $449 (Thinking I would not get anything better or cheaper) Circuit City Mario Galaxy(Wii) $35 Element 32in LCD $399 Compaq C717NR Laptop $299(AR) ToyRUs 2 Little Touch Leapster games $16 If I remember more, I will post an update. I need sleep now:tired:. -
I got mine by accident. I was tring to get the one on STAPLES. I went back to look at the CC ad on their site and clicked on the door-buster computer. It showed the laptop with a desciption. I looked at the model number and typed it in the search. It appeared and said 'add to cart'. WOO HOO!!!
-
Its a weird thing. You can't find much on their website either. The problem is that some of these computers sold by BB or CC and such, have specific model numbers just for their stores. Usually you can find one almost exactly like it at another site or on HP.com, but the model number is off by a digit or two. BB does not usually sell refurbished units except maybe their outlet store.
