We usually do 'Toys for Tots', the lesser known 'Toys for Teens', and an Angel Tree each year. BF is a great time to get these items. We feel we can bless more kids with the savings.

This is true! There were sales before and after BF with better prices. BTW, we never took our DS when he was young, mainly because we were buying for HIM (and we were out in the middle of the night when little boys should be asleep ). Now that he is older, he is right there with us (he has his own money now, lol).

ToysRus usually has a 'big' Star Wars set on sale. Last year was the MTT (from Phantom Menace) and Target had a Star Destroyer (original trilogy) for about $60 each. A great deal considering they are usually $100+. Watch for both stores to have one again.

This scenerio shouldn't be a problem. Heck, I 've seen people try to sell their spot. I would do it around the time tickets are handed out(if that is the case) or at least an hour or so before the doors open. Just my opinion .

I think if you do, I'd stand out there for a while (maybe a few hours) so you can 'chat it up' with the people around you. That way you could go home for a rest and maybe comeback with no problems(maybe). I might be more inclined to let you back in if that was the case. I think it might cause a ruckus(is that really a word, lol) if you just appear and jump in.

Yes it does stink. I bought a monitor last week and my order kept getting cancelled(what a surprise, read my signature). I called CS and spoke with several 'foreign' personnel. I got passed around to 5 different people. None of them could find my order number(because it was cancelled). I told them my order was cancelled and each one had replied 'You want to cancel your order, what is your the order number?'. I was livid. I had to tell them 'No' my order WAS cancelled and that they won't find it with my order number. It might be cheaper to 'outsource' CS, but it sure sucks, lol.

How do you judge years longer? I still have an Atari 800 computer that still works, lol. I'm sure there are some Apples that old too though. My neighbor had an Apple, but games sucked, so I was turned off a long time ago. Plus the price. I build my own machines now for a lot less and they ALL last. I've got several just sitting around, lol.

Unless you are a gamer. I've noticed games are rare, especially good ones, on a Mac and expensive.

I would try to limit it by just trying to hit only the stores I really needed to, which I might do myself. Hmmm...
