Spiderman Tent Fit a Bunk bed?
tinkrbel replied to bfaddict1977's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Reviews don't seem great on any site. I can't find measurements for this exact one but I'm guessing since it's made by disney will be the same size as their others which is 72" x 36" x 32-1/2" fully assembled, based on ebay sellers. See if that will work for you, you can always return it if it's not that measurement. -

While I like the bags I would wait until they were half priced or more to buy..plus I just don't like the looks of bags for everything, my SIL has always done bags whether because easier or she sucks at wrapping I'm not sure.

Macy's is having Martha Stewart ones as part of a One Day sale sometime next week.

LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar $39.98 @ Walmart
tinkrbel replied to dwc designs's topic in Online Hot Deals
that's what a lot of reviewers were saying. I haven't looked yet but will probably keep an eye out in case they go sale price/clearanced. I found an advent Lego set at Target clearance last year but didn't get it because box looked like it was probably missing lots of stuff. -
ditto..that also make online jewelry purchases a lot harder to make. If you can't trust prices or check quality is it really worth buying?

LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar $39.98 @ Walmart
tinkrbel replied to dwc designs's topic in Online Hot Deals
there's a lot of good reviews on amazon but I for one do not pay $40 for something the kids may or may not grow into AND be a one use toy. Plus if the pieces are that small I can guarantee they'll be lost and sets never usable after 1st use. -

I'm about to buy these but before I do, can anyone tell me if these things are reusable? I found some pics of trays inside box on amazon but what is the actual calendar portion made out of? eek!! I got my answer as an Amazon review notes: Sooooooo disappointed in this piece of junk. Made of very cheap flimsy cardboard and can only be used once. Very poor design and will most likely tear or rip when trying to open the days.....Gawd this piece of junk is awefull!!! Ther toys/items are so small they should be a choking hazard...completed! Worthless piece of JUNK!!! -
that'd be a nice change if nobody else opens up earlier....get our snowglobes and get out:)
-
totally agree. Unless I absolutely need something I usually refuse to pay shipping, now if there's a coupon to offset it or more I'll consider it. I semi agree with the necklace, $24 isn't bad if it's real amethyst BUT unless they have a huge picture where I can see EVERY detail I'd probably skip it too. There's nothing I hate more than a nice looking piece of jewelry with a gold/goldtone clasp or chain etc.
-
LOL...I stink at wrapping too but I usually wrap halfway decently without bells and whistles.....on occasion someone gets a patch up job:P I refuse to buy bags as I need them and I never know what's going in there. The kids toys is by far the worst but so much fun to see if I can do it.

I wish you luck....gs is kinda like like this but also obsessed with his sister, maybe you could try leaving with other kiddos for a bit while you do stuff and see if it works?

I see there's no official camera thread yet so I'll post here, sorry for thread jacking. I may be in the market for a new camera for the parents and have no idea what I'm looking for. Mine is a canon dslr but they say it's "too complicated" even on auto setup so I need ideas for a good compact one. They currently have a sony cybershot dsc-p10 that my brother gave them when he upgraded but it's basically a paperweight or overly sensitive. No matter who takes the picture, the situation or the lighting conditions about 75% or more of pics come out blurry. I am an avid Target and Amazon shopper so some good ideas on what to avoid or what decent brands/models I'm looking for would be much appreciated.

What will your kids give their teacher(s) this year?
tinkrbel replied to angelbabymommy's topic in 2011
I love that it was his idea and think the pics of the process along with the gift is a very cute/creative idea too. Plus I think it will be more appreciated as it's something he worked on as opposed to YOU buying. -
I agree the whole outrage about avoiding Walmart every year here is kinda boring already. I for one try to avoid them as a 1st stop but usually end up there sometime before 10am.

ditto...my grandfather had his own little beekeeper box and the honey was so delicious. I don't think he ever gave it as a gift per se but he was always giving it away and ppl loved it. -
Now if only they'd do a sale on them. Terms&Conditions

did you get the one listed above? called nutty? It seems like the biggest but I'm just not convinced by the trunk.
-
what's the deal with the bag? you can buy for so much after you purchase so much or it's free after purchase or what?
-
we buy rolls at 75% or 90% off for the next year, last year I lucked out and got some really cute st.judes paper at kmart and more adult stuff from target. I think we usually finish 2-3 rolls a year but we don't use a different kind per person.

Firstly, you WILL be stopping. I don't care how many people are driving or how long you can hold it, TX to FL is too long for anyone for hold it in. You can take snacks on the way to avoid stopping for food but I also don't see the advantage of saving 2% and being totally sleep deprived. I don't think the roads would be too busy other than nearby exits for major cities where people may be traveling to and from relatives homes. I would be careful for drink drivers though, maybe it's just around here but ppl don't need much of an excuse to drink and drive.
