  1. Thanks for pointing that out sir...I should have said I know nothing about tents instead of quality value seems good though
  2. THANKS...interesting..I have one of each 10-12 and 5 BUT thankfully I don't expect to need anything from them anyhow.
  3. You got insider info sir?
  4. I would hope that if they plan on counting people in they will have a pretty good way of keeping line jumpers/late arrivals from jumping the line. I agree tickets would help but I think the copying Walmart's map idea will be a bigger help than the delay at door. From articles: "LaFromboise said the choice of using the policy is up to the individual Target stores. They will decide, based on the lines outside the store, and the demeanor of the shoppers. However, he added that it is likely that all Target stores will use the new system." "This year, store maps will be available the day before Thanksgiving on target.com. Other new efforts at Target stores this year include more training for store leaders on crowd management, assigning a crowd management leader and captain both inside and outside every store and enforcing a buffer zone of about 10 feet between each store and the start of its line."
  5. Found 2 big tents at pretty good reduced prices on Cabela's, I have no idea about quality though. http://images.cabelas.com/is/image/cabelas/s7_519804_999_01?rgn=0,0,2000,874&scl=5.2631578947368425&fmt=jpeg&id=34V-ZLkW2s06e2ySr2hO5t Cabela's Deluxe Backwoods Three-Room Cabin 8person 8*16 $127.99 regular $319.99, 10 person 10*20 $151.99 regular $379.99 http://images.cabelas.com/is/image/cabelas/s7_518211_999_02?rgn=0,0,2000,1009&scl=5.2631578947368425&fmt=jpeg&id=2YrvQ2QrPQby3Vc4TGT0e- Cabela's Two-Room Cabin Tent 8-person 10' x 14' $129.99 regular $329.99, 10-person 10' x 16' $143.99 regular $359.99
  6. I call BS. I tried this last year and got nothing. I think ToysRUs just sends them out randomly to people on their mailing list. I have their CC and rewards card and get other flyers but not toybook for whatever reason.
  7. Marine Exchange will have the men and womens denali on sale for $89.99 on BF 5am-11am if you have one near you.
  8. 1 Thanksgiving Day, 1 Christmas Eve dinner (I loathe) and maybe 2 Christmas lunch/brunch.
  9. I totally forgot to look was sidetracked by clearance but no holder in the aisles I walked through and around.
  10. I looked up lemon lush and recipe I found looks delicious. There was another that had pecans or walnuts in the crust
  11. that's a VERY decent offer from Disney. Everything else is so expensive it's nice of them to do that for TFT. I think I'll donate a couple, THANKS!
  12. just keep checking Amazon before making any purchase through BB it's USUALLY cheaper:P
  13. not heard about it but then again I'm not sure if I'm still "liking" them on Facebook:P
  14. saw lots of halloween candy but didn't wander round to the costumes/other stuff aisle. There was a shopping cart full of halloween clothes that they were either going to put out or take back not sure nobody around. I got loads of boys tops many shaun white, a few star wars ones and other miscellaneous ones for 2.24 or 2.48. some cute khaki school uniform shorts for 3.24 and pin striped shaun white shorts for 4.24 Also found some womens shorts champion maybe for 1.98 in workout section and some men's screen tees only "office space" one was $2.48 so picked up a few of those for gifts. There was a belgian waffle maker marked down to 34.98 but it was stuck on a shelf for a waffle maker that was regular 39.99 so not sure if just a coincidence or if they were trying to make people think it was a better deal than it was since it was marked reg.price $69.99
  15. or wait a little longer see if any other deals come up before BF:)
  16. Now that is a NICE change for BB. I may purchase a little more from them if this holds true.
  17. That's a little harsh...but I agree that some Walmart employees and management are useless at best. Sadly, I'm heading there in a little bit and may have to speak to a manger if I get same BS responses as I did last time from department staff. If they don't aggravate me I may try and find out what their plan is for BF:P
  18. I agree. I have never made any BIG item purchases at Kmart on BF but they usually make a nice amount from me on their jewelry, tools and other small stuff they put on sale. It's also not as busy/crazy as other places. We got there the year before last just before opening and they had everyone smothered in the foyer(space between internal store door and door to outside) but it was livable and nobody was egging anyone else on. I was NOT happy that it took me about 20 minutes waiting after asking 3 different people before I finally found a manager to verify that a BF item was never received BUT he corrected problem by giving me a higher spec item for same price:) I was able to get multiples of the men's jewelry sets they had on sale which I thought might be very limited based on weekly sales but they had tons and I needn't have worried. The jewelry still lives :)
  19. Maybe this one? ok that didn't work. Either scroll down on that page and see if it comes up or type "nightmare yahtzee" into search on the page and find it there :) It let me add to my cart so should still be available. I love NBC but don't see myself playing Yahtzee.
  20. Based on their 15 Hottest toy list...I think so :)
  21. http://familyfun.go.com/assets/cms/recipes/marshmallow-pilgrim-hats-thanksgiving-recipe-photo-80-FF1101THANKA17.jpg I haven't tried these yet, but they will be on this year's list of desserts. If nothing more they'll be a fun recipe to try with my godson with the added bonus of being delicious too. How can you go wrong with chocolate and marshmallows? Marshmallow Pilgrim Hats Ingredients 24 chocolate-striped shortbread cookies 12-ounce package of chocolate chips 24 marshmallows tube of yellow decorators' frosting Instructions Set the chocolate-striped cookies stripes down on a wax-paper-covered tray, spacing them well apart. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler. One at a time, stick a wooden toothpick into a marshmallow, dip the marshmallow into the melted chocolate, and promptly center it atop a cookie. Using a second toothpick to lightly hold down the marshmallow, carefully pull out the first toothpick. Chill the hats until the chocolate sets, then pipe a yellow decorators' frosting buckle on the front of each hat.
  22. wowserz! Can I come? I would at least have some dessert to eat:)
  23. it depends on what they have on offer and what everyone else has but I doubt I'll be stopping by there on BF.
  24. I think it would really depend on how much food you're making. We usually have at least 20 over and have more than enough with 3 pies/cakes because people fill up on turkey other stuff. We usually have lots left over. My mom usually makes a Cheesecake and either a pecan liquor pie of some sort or a pumpkin cake from Pillsbury and my aunt usually brings a plain pumpkin pie. There's always left over including usually the whole (or most of) the pumpkin pie.
  25. That would be one way of getting your item at discounted rate especially if they have customer service desk open during sale hours which is unlikely. You'll probably have to rebuy at PM amount and return the original later in the day if finances/quantities allow. I think the point Riven3d was trying to make is that the Christmas Guarantee does not apply to BF prices but that PM will be allowed on BF as always.
