LOL...I must have signed up for sears stuff because I'm getting books all the time. I leafed through it but didn't look properly and actually considered scanning it but have been too busy and nothing IN IT really warrants that much trouble especially considering it would be a page by page since its just wide enough to be 1.5 times scanner length.

it just means they will be competitively priced,easy for them to make money on it and not allow price matching. I think it's their way of getting you to the store and hoping you spend a fortune since you already made the trip. From my shopping experiences with GS it's not easy to get ANYTHING done with kids in tow and it's probably just as hard to find time for shopping and a babysitter to avoid taking kids.

This is the reason I overslept last year:P I was up ALL night til about 4 and tried to get 1.5 hours sleep FORGETTING to set alarm. I woke up at 6 and rushed somewhere, Sears maybe for blanket sleepers not sure.

thanks for posting. I called around and found 1 store with 50% off while others had 30% off extra on clearance so stopped at them all w/50% store as 1st stop. I managed to get everything I needed and use up $10 rewards I had plus the $10 birthday discount they sent me which expires 10/31 as well as using up a gift card that had been rolling around my purse for a few years. Not sure if anyone else took advantage but they were giving out SuperCASH for use 11/17-11/22 $10 for every $20 spent(up to $30 per purchase) before extra 30% off. I doubt I will use them since you have to spend double to use the; ie $20 cash must purchase $40, $10 cash must purchase $20 and $30 cash must use $60. The 50% store wouldn't let me combine the bday coupon with 30% from card but I just separated stuff out, they also had me go back to the end of the line again for separate order which I thought was ridiculous but whatever, I was not losing out my discount since 50% finished today. We're only missing 1 pair of pants to complete a set for my cousins' bday next year since we already had their christmas stuff boxed up. I was THIS close to getting halloween outfits for GS and his sister but decided against it since they're quite bulky&hot but would have been about $1.50 each. I totally agree. Whilst I have never had to use Layaway and do NOT like the fee associated with it, I understand the necessity some people have for it and that ANY store would charge a small fee to avoid wasting their space to those with little intention of returning for items. It is a lot more favorable to pay a $5 fee instead of 26+% fees on a CC to make Christmas happen. Sure some people overspend but intelligent people GUARANTEE their gifts by paying in increments they can afford. Just because some people cannot help themselves does not mean that everyone else should be penalized.
