  1. The cashier that eventually gave me and parents rainchecks wrote .19 on the raincheck but doubt someone else will be stupid enough to accept. I found some simialr ones slightly cheaper at staples the following week after rebate. That two pack is on sale for $3 in other stores seems crazy for 2 pens.
  2. my father stole the coupon. Hopefully he saw CVS ad too otherwise will go into his stack of coupons that expire.
  3. I want a good spec laptop, good spec home theatre system and a wireless access point but only really holding out hope for laptop and access point. Wouldn't mind a cheap 32-40 inch lcd tv for my aunt with a nice organizer/stand if my parents chip in, she needs something with AV inputs as she has all the hand me downs and is technically challenged. Everytime she needs to switch between over air antenna and dvd player I get a call
  4. staples rebates are mail in or online. It's easy to submit but still takes a while to get money back. Filler paper is a penny this week with purchase of $5 with own brand post its, some highlighters and pop up tape being free after rebate so they would allow you to get paper for 0.01. The pen drive is a staples "rewards" item for $1. I would recommend against REWARDS only because it takes so long to get them and when I did battery offer over last BF/Xmas never got my coupon and they refused to accept return or sesend me my coupon. I bought 2 packs of batteries at 9.99 expecting to get full money back and got stuck with overpriced batteries.
  5. staples had pencils a few weeks back with copy paper (after rebate)and has something this week I think.office depot or office max has something this week. this year they require a $5 purchase at staples but they have stuff nearly free after rebate which counts towards $5.
  6. In my experience,if the raincheck has a limit they will stick to it.I always ask for crazy amounts knowing I won't need/want them if there's no limit. I still have some rainchecks from the G2 pens but not sure how that will go since coupons that made them 19cents expired 07/31/2010. I wish that had allowed substitutions like someone else said they got at their store. Lady was a real hag about even giving is rainchecks making us go find manager who just said go ask for one and we dragged her with us to ensure lady would give us rainchecks. A lot of the walgreens cashiers around here are nasty pieces of work. I went so far as to speak to store manager about one at store nearest to house and sometime after she seems to have disappeared (but I've also stopped going as often). There's no need to be treated like a thief everytime you score something worthwhile at the clearance areas.
  7. Just got a text from walmart that 1" econcomy binders are 0.75 down from 0.92
  8. You may have gotten a pretty good deal, expressions is a kmart own brand and generally not great quality but I'm not familiar with exhilirations quality.
  9. e-rewards also offered target and macy's gift cards as of a month or so ago but had never noticed before. I always stick to credit cards but free gift cards may get use this year too :) I hate carrying cash and can't imagine doing it on BF of all days. Here's hoping we all get what we want this year. I need to spec a laptop, wireless access point and new home theatre and then hope they're put on sale.
  10. managed to get the elmo hands 7.xx , yo gabba gabba laptop for 6.24, 2 different disney princess necklace things 1.xx and lots of other small things. found the fancy nancy shoes and boa which my BF daughter will love as she's super into FN now. I saw a lego's farmyard playset but was only 50% off at 29.99 and didn't get since will just be put away for a year til boys are older. I also found a 2 in 1 batmobile thing with a figure for 4.9x and the kai lan mega bloks pictured above. I did better than I'd expected to overall now just need to find space to put it :)
  11. I'm heading in early tomorrow morning. Hope there's something left but with my luck they'll not have started or be totally wiped out:)
  12. I stopped in yesterday and found a few different pairs of Naturalizers for 29.99, some cute misses/ladies dresses w/coverup sweater sets for 27.xx and skirt style shapewear for 6.xx all before the extra 40% off.
  13. sale seems to be back though I only hit one store yesterday on my way to Dillard's. Luckily we only have 1 dillard's close by so was forced to check the cheapest ON last week and managed to find 1 of the 2 cheaper (3.46 vs 7.48) mens jeans I wanted, a bunch of womens tops (for 1.12&2.24)and some different style cargo capri's for 3.46. I got a fabulous deep purple tank for .88 super soft and stretchy but not the unflattering ones also found girls jeans for 2.27 and tanks for .89 plus some cute babydoll tees for 2.36. I finally gave in and got an ON card so prices reflect extra 10%. They made me pay for cami's separately cause I couldn't use 10% and discount code. But I'm not sure cami's are any better than some of cheaper stuff I got so they might go back.
  14. thanks, I'm not sure why I thought they were accumulated and printed out later
  15. silly question, ECB's show up immediately on receipt or at the end of a quarter?
  16. I thought about it weeks ago then remembered last years 1st ad came out after my birthday in October and figured I was way too early. Stocked up on some gifts at Old Navy on Sunday and lots of kids gifts at Target Toy Clearance last year.
  17. thanks a million, finally went yesterday and bought 5 big bags full of clothes for $12x haven't looked at receipt to see how much saved if it says but the men's jeans at this PARTICULAR store were a practically a steal. And little did we know the store manager was personally helping us out find sizes. Men's jeans for as little as 2.98,3.98 and we bought one for 7.48 which I'm going to try and exchange today if the sale is still on. Bermuda type cargo shorts for women 3.98, womens tee's for 1.98. We gave up when the cart was full and our backs were aching and stopped by another store which had barely any clearance at double the prices. The jeans we'd bought for 3.98 were now 8.xx as marked down to only 17.99 (didn't check with anyone to see if marked down more since wrong sizes anyhow)and the 3rd store had a buy2get1free sale on clearance which again was nothing compared to first store. Anyone know if old navy clearance is like Targets (depends on location)?
  18. WWII in HD bluray is 12.99+2.99shipping and tax. If it was free shipping I'd consider but the fact that sale prices are mediocre at best AND they want to charge shipping just irks me.
  19. thanks, I'll check after work. Recently lost weight and need some new jeans/lounge pants
  20. I saw it over the weekend but wasn't sure what is was. I figured it was for this coming Friday?
  21. I think the limit only applies to returns without receipt. Its a certain number of up to a certain value.
  22. I was about to see what was so special about this regular $260
  23. there's a required $5 purchase of non-EXTREME items this year. read above posts
  24. no hoops, you can even process online and usually its received within 6 weeks or less. staples really does have the easiest rebates
  25. thanks, I'll see if when I get preview any of that's included. we can always use paper and my father stockpiles those pencils and folders
