  1. There are some Geotrax sets that I haven't seen anywhere else before, including the FP website. But then, I still think Kohl's has a deal with FP to make special sets up just for them before they are sold anywhere else.
  2. Isn't that kindof like anything you eat with a diet coke doesn't have any calories? hehehehe It's like on BF where I always sneak a couple of things in there for me, like some new jammies, etc. It doesn't count!
  3. My husband has a spreadsheet that he updates after every one of my shopping trips. It goes back YEARS, showing budget, presents bought, actual spent, etc. But then again, he is an accountant. I fudge a little though.....
  4. My Stepdaughter has a zune and she uses Sony's site to get some of her music. You might check up there.
  5. I just sent invitations of FB for a huge amount of my friends! They are always asking me how I get the inside scoop! Now they will know.
  6. I get up, let my DS (6) run out in his jammies and crocs to get the paper out of the driveway, separate all the ads from the news, give the news to my DH, start prepping for cooking, reading along the way. We eat after the Lions lose, (my DH is from Michigan, so we have to watch them lose.... Don't know what we will do if they ever win one on Thanksgiving day.) so we normally don't eat until 4:30 or so. After we eat, Sister in law and I start making our plan of attack, where to go first, etc. She usually brings a paper that she drove about 10 miles to get, because the papers on our side of town won't have some of the ads (I HATE Kohls for this!!!!!), and even though we have seen all the ad scans, made lists, lists, lists, and prelim attack plans, we never finalize anything until we have all the ads spread out around us. Then up at 3 AM on BF to start the game!!
  7. My son is 6, a first grader, and he loves, loves, loves Bakugans. I won't tell you what I paid last Christmas for the 6 ball set, but suffice it to say, it was waaaaaaaay more than $18.00!! The toys are great. I "borrow" them to use in my science classroom when we study Magnets (I teach middle school). The sets come with cards, some are magnetic and some aren't. They are used in a card game, but my son just prefers to roll the balls over the cards and make up his own game. There is a cartoon that goes along with them too, but that scares him sometimes. (Pokemon cartoons are more his speed -- he loves Pokemon too)
  8. Last year at this time, you couldn't find Bakugans anywhere. This year, I see them lots of places. (ToysRUs just had a big Bakugan event last weekend.) I wouldn't pay $18-20 for the starter pack with the 3 balls, because I've seen it at TRU, Walmart and Target for less than $14 this past weekend. What might be hard to find are the newer ones that hook together to make a creature, ala transformerlike.
  9. got mine delivered to the store, no problem! Great deal for a stocking stuffer!
  10. got a couple of codes just now. FREESHIP100 Free shipping on orders $100 and over 25FALLVS extra 25% off select sweaters, pants, denim and more. Happy Shopping!!
  11. I've got a code for free shipping on a coat or jacket. Ends Sunday SHIPWARM So far, no money off for me...
  12. We've got thunderstorms and high winds here today. Electricity went off for an hour in my school. Ever try to keep 30 eighth graders from hitting, choking, killing or procreating with each other for an hour in the dark? It ain't easy! I look forward to chilly weather (but no snow) of BF!!!
  13. I vow to not forget to take my provigil, so I don't fall asleep while standing in line at Kohls waiting to pay for my stuff. Narcalepsy is a terrible thing sometimes.
  14. Last year, my sister in law and I did our usual schedule of up at 3:00 AM, hitting stores, piling things into my CRV, more stores, more things in the CRV until about by 1:30, the CRV was full to the brim and barely fit us! We were driving back home, when a car load of teenage boys started to pass us. They slowed down, ran even with us, pointing, laughing and screaming at us because we were so packed with stuff!
  15. Thanks so much! If you call an outlet, they will tell you if they have the style/color you want. I know that Las Vegas used to ship, but I don't know if they still do now or not.
  16. I won in 2005, but Brad never sent me the TShirt..... I still even have the message saved that says I won! I'll still take a shirt, Brad! I always enter the contests!
  17. I used to work at a Disney Outlet Store and we would have different things for doorbusters on the Saturday and Sunday after BF. People would come all three days early in the morning!
  18. Kohl's is definitely a partner place. One gets in line, while the other shops, then switch places, etc. Their prices are unusual to say the least, but the toy sets that they sell on BF are made just for them, so you can pick up pieces that are not sold other places. Fisher-Price always does something special for them with their Little People sets, Geo-Trax, etc. This is usually our first stop on BF morning.
  19. DS system for son, new TV for my bedroom, anything else that hits the spot!
  20. Missed the Avocado party. Really wanted it, but I have the I can't believe its not butter party, so its all good!
  21. West Nashville store has school 75% off, Summer 75% off (but not much left), but college is only 15%. I have my eye on some of the tubs to use at school.
  22. I got in!! Woohoo! My date still says Sept 26
  23. I did this at the age of 42! I was pregnant with my one and only child, about 24 weeks along. I really had to do some fancy talking to my DH, since I had already been through 6 miscarriages. No problems, but I did avoid major pushes, etc. And I was home early (for me at least) by noon. Drink plenty of fluids all day and keep snacks with you to keep your energy going. And when you feel tired, you are done, whether your list is or not. There are so many deals online now, if you are worried, I would stay in and do that instead!
