Help me find Halo 2 for the Xbox...
Brad replied to Zim Hosein's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Target.com has it for $49.99 with free shipping. Use the 10% off coupon floating around and that brings it to $44.99. Tax is charged though, so that's not that good of a deal. I'll keep looking... -
Watch the warranty lengths too. There is like a $20 difference between a 90 day and a 1 year warranty
-
Also try Dell Business. I configured a 2400 with 17" monitor and CD burner for around $450 shipped (plus tax)

XM announces internet streaming: http://www.xmradio.com/listen/index.jsp $7.99/month to non-subscribers, $3.99/month for subscribers. Sirius offers internet streaming for free to their subscribers (but they charge $3/month more than XM) Still a good way for someone considering XM to try out the programming without buying any hardware upfront. Just pay the $7.99 for a month and see if it's something you'd like.

Pricegrabber listing: http://gottadeal.pricegrabber.com/search_getprod.php?masterid=2281127&blsrt=1 OneCall has the D70 with 18-70mm lens for $1299: http://ww2.onecall.com/PID_22756.htm?BCPID=752 Shipping is just over $20. If you sign up for their PASS membership (free) you can save 1% more, so it ends up being just over $1300 shipped. OneCall is an authorized dealer. They've had good bundle deals in the past, but nothing right now. RitzCamera also has a few versions of the D70, including one with a 2 lens kit for $1229.

I don't believe vB comes wih any emoticons. I found them all and added them manually.

I think I fixed it. The reason AFB was allowed to edit it was that there was a 5 minute window when topic titles could be edited. I have increased that window to 99999999999 minutes, so you shouldn't have any problems now, hopefully :)
-
I'll check into it...

I've been using Easynews for about 3-4 years now with no problems.

Without a doubt I would choose XM. Unless you do stuff where you would use the MP3 player a lot (working out, etc...). Having XM, especially in a situation like this where you can have it both in your vehicle and at home is very nice. Ever since they went commercial free on all the music channels it has made it even better. Highly recommended, especially at this price.
-
Correct. You get the vehicle kit included, which lets you use it either with the cassette adapter, or the built in wireless FM modulator. Both will probably give equal sound performance, so for most, the FM modulator is easier. Just plug the power cable into your cigarette lighter socket, plug in the antenna and you're good to go. You can also plug the audio output directly into your head unit if you have an aux. input. The home kit is very similar - has an antenna and a dock with a line out to connect it to a receiver, powered speakers, PC, headphones, etc... This is a really good price. Don't know if it is the new price (doubtful since this model just came out a few months ago) or Amazon just has a lower price than everywhere else.
-
no - video card typically uses your AGP slot, and TV tuners use PCI slots. unless you get the all-in-wonder cards, which have both components on the same AGP card.
-
if you have an open slot, then you can still have a TV tuner card.
-
And if you wanted to spend a lot more, there's the portable "TiVo for radio": http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00009ZY4E

If you just need FM, I'd go with something cheap like this: http://www.buy.com/retail/electronics/product.asp?sku=90105647 Order 2 and get free shipping (and have one for a backup - the quality isn't going to be the greatest at that price) No MP3, but what do you expect for $13? lol If you want something better, go with something like a Sangean. I've had a little radio from them for about 5 years now. Works great, great reception, excellent battery life.

Bobby doesn't know the meaning of the word budget, lol. How about this one: http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=10378005 and then use this 10% coupon: http://www.buy.com/retail/coupon.asp?prid=84349019 You'll have to pay shipping since it's on order (once it gets in stock it will have free shipping, but the price could get raised) still should be around $122 shipped... Staples IPODS are better than ***FREE IPODS***

That's a good start. Keep it going :) I think we should be like FW and censor the mere mention of any competing deal site's name Kidding obviously... Or maybe just replace it with this: -
Staples IPODS are better than ***FREE IPODS***
Brad replied to Pliablemoose's topic in Online Hot Deals
Well with the 10% off Buy.com coupon, you can get the 20GB for $251 and the 40GB for $341 with free shipping and no tax for most states, so you'll need a big Staples coupon to beat those prices. I paid $251 for mine and got it via UPS on Friday. -

Dead Deal: Free USA Today Subscription

Just got my first issue today, even though my zip code wasn't listed :) Only 8 days - pretty good service. Anybody else get theirs yet? -
There is also this model: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00000J4BC More money, but it will respond to the remote controls of your devices, so you don't have to actually push a button on the unit to switch sources. Handles up to 6 components as well.
