  1. Glad you like it. I have the Logitech DiNovo Bluetooth set and love it as well. Same mouse (MX-900) as your set but with a different keyboard & added media pad.
  2. LOL. I'm not scared of RossMAN. He removes my admin and I go on strike - there would be no more deals posted on the site ever again is for Brad - RossMAN
  3. oops. i thought it had the same model as the ones in the links you posted.
  4. From the site: "For easy installation, kit includes installation and management software, hardware and step-by-step illustrated instructions." Like I said before, you get mounting hardware, probably a SATA cable, software and manual. With the bare drive you get the bare drive - usually nothing else. ZipZoomFly has the bare drive for $162 with free 2nd day shipping: http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=101220 It also says it has a 3 year warranty, which is nice.
  5. Well since "everyone at GottaDeal" is just RossMAN and me, you're welcome :)
  6. I assume the kit refers to being in a retail box, usually with some kind of software, mounting rails (for mounting in a 5 1/4" drive bay) and screws. At least that is what they usually refer to.
  7. We only allow guest posting in the Deal Finder board, just to make it easier for people to help out others since they can give their own ideas and suggestions for a specific deal request without having to register if they don't want to. Registration is required to post in all the other boards.
  8. I think they are both comparable. They both have the same resolution, which is why I upgraded from my 3-year-old 17" to the 2001FP instead of a 19" since it would have had the same resolution.
  9. BenQ is an above-average manufacturer. Better than those SVA/Sceptre/Sylvania models that have been available lately. Here is the Pricegrabber listing for the DVI model: http://gottadeal.pricegrabber.com/search_getprod.php?masterid=2667336&blsrt=1 so as you can see, the Amazon price is $50 cheaper than anywhere else. This is a $400 LCD. Yes, it isn't as good as the Dell, but the Dell costs quite a bit more...
  10. No, you should be able to get that deal several times per month for the forseeable future. Most likely prices will slowly come down and you will be able to get it even cheaper in a few months.
  11. Bobby, Here is a thread with a nice model: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=1545 See my reply about the better version. DVI and 16ms response time for $333.99 shipped with no rebates. Only $8 more than the non-DVI version, which was a great deal by itself.
  12. The $119.99 price is through TigerDirect. The rebate would still qualify, but I think you'd have to pay shipping.
  13. Yes it was $119.99 pre-rebate and is now $139.99 pre-rebate (from Amazon). The rebate link was listed with the deal on the main site. For some reason on Amazon's site, it doesn't show the rebate when Amazon isn't the "default" seller for an item, which is why it doesn't show up now.
  14. looks like Amazon raised their price by $20. here is the rebate form: http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B0000CFY8C.01.RB01.LZZZZZZZ.jpg

    DB error ?

Same explanation. If we bump a previous deal to the top of the home page, it gets a new ID#, so we can choose to either delete the old one or keep it in the archive. Usually if a deal is less than 4-5 days old, we'll delete the old one. Otherwise we keep it in there in case Google or Yahoo have already spidered the old page. That way people coming to the site get less 404 errors from deals that were deleted. It also keeps Google and Yahoo happy, and we need them happy to get new people to the site :)
  16. Just a note that if you have your own Amazon Associates account and set up a partnership with us, you can earn $ with some of the deals - like I said, PM one of us for more info.

    DB error ?

Sometimes we copy previous deals (especially very popular ones) to get them back to the top of the home page without deleting the original deal, so it just uses the same forum thread. I would have deleted the old deal when bumping but I have some Google Adwords ads running which link to that deal page and don't want problems with it no longer being available.
  18. The problem with most online places is that shipping will kill you on something like that, unless there is a free shipping promotion like that model at Target. For example, OneCall has a nice 24" (not 27") Sony Trinitron WEGA for under $250, but shipping is well over $100 on it. I'll keep looking...
  19. Here is a really nice Samsung model at Target.com - $449 w/ free shipping and use 10% off coupon code TCSAVEAUGTEN to get it for $404 shipped (plus tax if applicable). Has all kinds of inputs, progressive scan-compatible, etc... Pretty much one of the best non-HDTV 27" models available. If you want something cheaper, here are some models at BestBuy.com to look at. Free delivery on most, or you can pick them up in store if you have one nearby: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?id=1051806307849&skuId=5341061&productCategoryId=cat03003&type=product http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?id=1077624868649&skuId=6376619&productCategoryId=cat03003&type=product http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?id=1083537537895&skuId=6395073&productCategoryId=cat03003&type=product http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?id=1072287615951&skuId=6292291&productCategoryId=cat03003&type=product
  20. Any particular price range you are looking at? Also, what stores do you have nearby? BestBuy, CircuitCity, Costco, Sam's Club, etc...
  21. Another possible option if you want longer battery life would be one of the many reconditioned models at Overstock.com. Plenty of options from name-brand companies like Dell, HP, IBM, etc... Most of these have slower processors that use less power but are still more than enough for most any activity on a laptop. Use a coupon and save more. We'll have several deals posted tomorrow for laptops at Overstock, so stay tuned.
  22. ECS specs - http://www.ecsusa.com/products/a535.html It is designed more as a stationary-plugged in laptop and not a true mobile solution. But the battery life is enough if you are like RossMAN and only unplug it when you take in in the bathroom
  23. That's what I was thinking, but I couldn't find any 5.8GHz 2-line models at all - they were all 900Mhz or 2.4GHz. I'll look again and see if I can find any.
