  1. Target link added.
  2. It's still early. We don't have the full BB or CC ads yet, so I'm waiting for those before deciding whether to go out that morning or not.
  3. If anyone on here does logo design, please PM myself or Ross. We may have a job for you :)
  4. We don't have any right now as we are in the process of finally getting a logo and then we'll have all that good stuff. But if you want, give me a pixel size and I'll come up with something. Or you can just use the plain old logo from the front page: http://www.gottadeal.com/images/logo.gif
  5. That's it - ban RossMAN!
  6. You won't find any lower prices in any of the ads since like nearly all Apple products, they are price-fixed. So the best you can hope for is free stuff with the purchase of one or maybe an un-advertised in-store special. Really, your best bet is probably getting it from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0002A6YVC (be sure to order through Amazon - not J&R - see menu on right side) for $899.99 after an Amazon-exclusive $100 rebate with free shipping and no tax for most states. I doubt you'll find any better deal on BF for such a new model... http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B0002A6YVC.01.RB05.LZZZZZZZ.jpg
  7. It's a good price, but don't expect many features / great battery life.
  8. 1) As for connecting those things, you just need the cables which should have come with those components. 2) Yes, it is all one unit - no stand needed 3) Without the HDTV receiver it works like any other TV so you can use your satellite just like you are using it now. It even has dual-tuner picture-in-picture which is nice as well. And now you get a free $50 Amazon gift certificate as well with the purchase of any TV above $250.

    CompUSA Pre-BF Sales

The ad says "model varies by store" so it's probably a really cheap model they got for BF only.

    CompUSA Pre-BF Sales

That 4-10pm sale is Wednesday night.
  11. That's going to be a tough one, but we'll look. This 47" for $999 has been very popular: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00009RTPH
  12. We will be keeping an updated real-time list on the main site (BF04.com) starting on Thanksgiving day. You won't miss it :)
  13. 1) Oak Creek (suburb of Milwaukee), WI, USA 2) Single 3) GottaDeal.com is without a doubt the best hot deals site on the internet - all of our competitors are no match for our awesomeness. 4) Not too excited yet - not many interesting deals so far. I'm more excited about seeing which of the "hotter" deals will be available online starting on Thanksgiving. 5) The GottaTalk Lounge - best thing to happen to the forums here - it was dead here before we made that new board 6) Whatever the people want, we'll do :) I also want to remind our newcomers that GottaDeal is much more than BF. Our BF site is just a very small part of our overall site which is a more general hot deals / coupons site. We post hundreds of deals each week, every week of the year. The BF message board is also just one small part of our entire forum. We have plenty of other boards for you to participate in. We hope that we won't have a mass exodus after BF is over and that you will choose to stick around all year round and spread the word about the site
  14. If you are bored, get someone to save your place in line and walk the length of the line telling everyone about this great site you found, GottaDeal.com :) (can you tell we like people promoting us? lol)
  15. Here are some links to check out: Main deal listing for portable DVD players: http://av.gottadeal.com/deals-category-portabledvd.html Black Friday deals: http://www.bf04.com/sales.php?search_query=portable+dvd Model at Amazon for $175 shipped: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0000C83IH I would also encourage you to browse Overstock.com, and if you find a model you like, request an additional discount in this thread.
  16. I just changed it back. It was one thing I did earlier this week when the site was getting hammered so hard - just to cut down on the database calls and hopefully speed up the site. Now that we moved the BF site to a different server, that isn't needed anymore, so it's back - thanks for the reminder :)

    CompUSA Pre-BF Sales

The person that e-mailed to me lists them as MMIR, which I assume means manufacturer mail-in rebates, but I don't know if that is really the case. We won't know until we get the actual ad, and even that probably won't say either way.

I linked as many of the CompUSA items to the web site as I could find. CompUSA usually has several of the items available on the web site as well.

A visitor e-mailed us with CompUSA's sales - both pre-BF and BF. Here is the pre-BF sale info. I will add the BF info to the database very shortly. 22. With TRU threatening to leave the toy business a few months ago, they must be doing what they can to not lose $. I'm sure there will be some people who get up to the checkout counter and demand that they PM, and when they refuse, will cause a big scene and make everyone else wait for them to rant and rave to the manager despite the fact that it's already been established.
  23. I agree with mugs that you should wait for Black Friday. Hindsight being 20/20, you should have been on these forums a month ago when Dell was having their end-of-quarter blowout sales. Many of us got loaded $1500 Dell laptops with every feaure you wanted and more for $750-800 shipped. There is a chance that similar deals will come around in January when their next quarter ends. When do you need to purchase this laptop by?
  24. Yes most of the ads will be in Thursday's paper. It is always a good idea to get your own copy to verify what the site(s) have and to check for any ads that we don't get in time to put on the site.
  25. OK, I added the TRU items to the database. If it turns out that they are false, they can easily be removed or changed.
