I get a little over 2 hours with the standard battery with wireless on. The 8 cell does stick out a little more on the back. It depends on how you plan on using it (more at home vs. traveling, etc...)

That would be very unlikely because of the fact that other than hosting and a very small amount of advertising, we basically have no expenses other than our time, so what would we do with your investment? If a member wants to make $ off of gottadeal, you can inquire about setting up a co-branded site with your own web site if you have one. Or we possibly could set up a private-label deal site for you to promote yourself and we could share the revenues. We'd host, update and maintain the site - you'd just have to get people to go to it.

On a more serious note, for the curious... there are referral links for most of the deals posted on the main site - they are just well hidden to stop some of the spyware and parasite apps from doing any damage and stealing our commission. Each of us have other sites besides GottaDeal. I personally have my own business which includes many other deal-type sites as well as some other online ventures (which I can't say too much about because a good magician never reveals his secrets). Why would you sell one MX-500 and get a new one? Do you want the backlight? You'd get $40-50 for the used one most likely. That is if this isn't the new price for the model now that the new models are out.

Most of their laptop (and desktop?) promotions (rebates, upgrades, etc...) end today, so it'll be interesting to see what they come out with tomorrow to combine with the coupons. These kinds of deals will continue until the end of the month as it's the end of Dell's fiscal quarter, so it'll be an interesting 2-3 weeks :) Don't be surprised if they bring back the $500 coupon for a few more hours :)
