I know Radio Shack has a BF special on Sirius. I think you have to buy a receiver and car kit and you get $100 back via rebates plus a free home kit. So basically it's the receiver, home kit, and car kit for around $100 after rebates. I think the rebates require 3 months of service.

The 200GB hard drive says "Save $100 after rebates." I can't make out the fine print, but there looks to be 3 rebates total. If any are instant rebates I cannot tell, but at least 2 will be mail-in rebates.

The best thing about it is that whichever you choose, you'll benefit from the fact that the systems have been out so long that you can get so many great "classic" / "greatest hits" games for all of those systems for very low prices.

Despite your "warning" I'm sure there will still be tons of people trying to do these things, and then calling for the manager and then threatening to call HQ, etc... Some people agree with your stance, others feel it's OK to do the return/rebuy thing. It's all part of the tradition of BF :) Seriously, stores could avoid so much of this with a clear policy either posted throughout the store a few days before BF, printed on receipts, etc... then it's written in black and white and there should be little room for argument at the store.
