hairstylin247
I just looked at last Jan. 2008 thread and people weren't reporting in until about 11am that they were finding things. So maybe later in the day we will hear things.
nick_jenni_jocelyn
hmmm if its tomorrow, i really have to think about stopping there. my DS has a play group at 10 and the high for tomorrow is only suppose to be 35, which in the morning it will be colder. i guess i could always stop there BEFORE playgroup, you know, since i will be out anyways, lol. tnt_mommy
I just looked at last Jan. 2008 thread and people weren't reporting in until about 11am that they were finding things. So maybe later in the day we will hear things. Well, I know last year, I was there at 8am and they were marking down stuff first thing. I spent probably an hour or more at the store, loaded my car, went home, unloaded, headed to a different store and did the same thing. I didn't even get home to bother reporting until late morning / early afternoon. so that could also play a part in why people didn't report right off the bat last year. (just a thought)
lovetoshopCA
Yeah, I think the people who might be finding stuff are doing just that. I am going to head to the one store that might mark down today after dropping of my boys at school. DH is sick today, DS1 was sick last week. I was sick early this week and DS2 is not doing great. I am just hoping that I am ABLE to do the toy clearance this year!
Bargainscout
I was at the Linden Aviation Plaza Target, there were 5 of them in an aisle packing up the clearance Toys in big brown boxes. I asked them, why they were packing those toys. They said that some of them need to go and some of them do not belong here anymore.I was like....what does that mean?? But they were really busy and working at a fast pace. And their manager was there shouting orders at them. So they did not give anymore info. Wonder whether they are just relocating those or sending them away to salvation army or something...? Will check there again next week to see what happened to those toys. They had LOTS of magnetix boxes, LOTS of them, big AND small. winter women accessories still either full price or only 30% off. Was really disappointed.Sometimes they pack up the stuff & take it to the back to do the repricing/retagging.
MindyKL
when I went this morning still 30% but as I was going through the racks and racks of mens clothes 75% off and over heard them saying that they were going to mark down toys first thing in the mornign tomorrow:cheesy:
rmol66
Just got back from Niles, Oh store and no go, the markdown people said they are way behind so for sure not today or tomorrow. Anyone go to boardman store yet? They were marking down slippers and winter boots, got a few pairs, they were also marking down men's clothing. U guys who are getting the extra 30-50 off are so lucky, non of that here!
freddie26
For all you fellow Belleville Crossing shoppers (dantegirl - I mean you) I went in this morning and found that things were marked down 50% but not 75%. I scanned several items as well. The one amazing thing was a Fly pen marked down to 19.99 from 79.99 - I will be going back tomorrow morning! cberrytech
No go in Springfield, MO this morning. Scanned a few things and all the 30%-50% tags were correct.
shoppingal
No go here either. I scanned a few things. I actually got myself and DS3 out of the house early enough to be there when the doors open. That will never happen 2 days in a row. They are however starting to reset the whole section. There are carts every where filled with clearance and they are going through each aisle to get the clearance that was sitting in the regular aisles. C'MON 75% Off. I am dying!!!!!!!!! shoppingal
Oh yeah---last night I got a cart full of clothes that were an additional 30% off the lowest clearance. They had to adjust each piece at the register. I got turtlenecks for .87, polos for $1.12, sweatpants 1.12, sweaters for 2.62. In all I got 21 pieces for $32.00. That was in the boys dept. KC-Traderbear
I wondered if they wouldn't be a day behind on markdowns since they were stickering all that "global bazaar" stuff on Monday, which they usually don't do for that grouping. That may have contributed to them being a day behind.

Ivetico
Went in this morning to find the Baby Trend Sit and Stand stroller. None to be found. Oh well. I did make out with a bunch of women's clothes -- racks of 30%, 50% and 75% off... with an ADDITIONAL 30% off taken at the register! They had t-shirts, sweaters, blouses, skirts, pants, dresses... I could've been there all day! I walked out with 7 tops and 1 dressy suit jacket for $21! The jacket was $5!

juanadeal
I never made it to the Union store but I did go to Watchung. Almost ALL of the toy dept was packed up in the cardboard boxes. They had about 10 flatbed carts in the aisles. I could barely see anything but I do know that some of the toys were rearranged. Maybe tomorrow. I did call the Union store and had the operator check something for me and the price she gave was 50% off.

mommy2justin
Toys 75% off at the new one in Williamsburg, VA, with a few 50% off items mixed in. They said they were a day ahead in markdowns and that they were the only store in the area doing it today, the rest would be tomorrow. Don't know how accurate that info is though. The old one in Williamsburg was not 75% as of 9 am this morning. Be back in a minute with my list.

TIA!Yes, it's a big white box with a picture of the theater on the front. And it was actually up on a top shelf along the wall. No one else seemed to even notice it was up there. http://www.step2.com/product.cfm?product_id=1545 The picture there is the same picture on the front of the box.
