I always take it off too! Too much eating on Thanksgiving and then the shopping. Too hyped up to go in to work although usually there is hardly ever anyone in the office that day!

This year will be my son and my dad. My dad buys anything he wants and my son, he's interested in nothing but computer gaming. So sad not to buy toys anymore! No clue what to get him besides iTunes gift cards that he would actually like

never first but always within the first 10-20. We stood in line one year at Kohls for hours in freezing temps. We were so numb by the time the doors opened but got what we wanted (not sure what that was though). I know we always used to go to Sears for their certificates they handed out to the first x number of people, and Macy's, and forget the others. We would go to the stores handing them out then go back and shop.

Interesting! With being able to order online, I know I don't spend as much time in stores as I used to. I buy what I can online and then pick it up in store IF I find it there just in case. I know my daughters have gone the past two years and couldn't understand the hoopla. I told them they have no idea what we used to do standing in freezing cold temps waiting for a 4-6 AM opening at stores. That was always part of the challenge.

They will somehow sneak the charge in to your bill! And I love the comment above about directing you to one of the 3-4 open registers! Amen to that one! (why have 30 lanes if you are only going to use 1/4 of them?)

A few things here and there! Bought a few items for my daughter with survey money I earned over the past few months! But it's getting so much harder to buy for the kiddo's as they get older.! (and more expensive!)

50/70 off here yesterday. One store had tons, another, not much.

I was bummed. Found a ton of stuff in regular departments and it all rang up NOF. I didn't have time to argue over pricing so left it. Found a ton of the Christmas shaped goldfish crackers too. Oh well, on to Toy clearance (which is limited in selection), baby, and valentines clearance next.

I found 90 off at the store I went to. Signs still said 70/50. Food items were ringing 70 off, other stuff 90. They had adult pjs in with the clearance stuff but they weren't ringing up 90 off so I left it. I did find a lawn moose reg 69 for 6 bucks! Pretty excited about that. Got bows, elf cosmetic sets, Christmas kids shirts and baby pjs, bows, tons of nutcrackers (I didn't buy any), eos were regular price here, goldfish crackers, minion chapstick, coke chapstick, 70 off perfume sets, and some other odds and ends. Make sure to scan.

I've had some items cancelled by Kohls. We also noticed a lot less people out shopping. Walmart had no lines at the store we went to although they had planned for big lines. It was unusually warm here so was a pleasant shopping experience for us.

Most of the stuff I want now is showing sold out online. I was able to pick up a few things but had to keep refreshing to finally get to checkout. Still have to go tomorrow but at least it's a few less things that I have to drag around with me.

Supposed to rain here! But I'll take rain over the freezing temps any day!

We got to our store just about an hour early and there was about 30 other people waiting in line already and they still had some left when we got ours. And this was a busy store. It was the main item we went after and didn't care about much else. It was very smooth while most of the rest of the store was in gridlock! They had plenty for everyone in line so you just never know. ETA and ours was in the Home/craft section at the back of the store....

I took my girls with my mom and I last year for the first time and it was a blast. We had so much fun. We can't wait to hit the streets this year!

No camping for me either. We usually head out to wherever we want to go a few hours before the store we want to go to opens but this year still not seeing any must haves to get anywhere early! Going to try to do most of my stuff online if I can.

Nothing has screamed at me yet either. Still awaiting walmart
