  1. It is corporate policy to adjust down the coupon value. Contact corporate and have them email you a copy of their policy. Take a copy of your email whenever you shop at Target. Show them the email if they try to deny the coupon due to its higher value. You could also inform the Target team member that this policy is covered in their "Workbench."
  2. You cannot make copies of the original coupon. That would be considered fraud.
  3. If I am recalling correctly, the markdowns so far this year have been on a Tuesday.
  4. I don't think so. The area that the bulk items were in will be used for: Valentine's; Easter; Summer; School; Halloween; and, Christmas.
  5. Houston Westheimer/Fondren: Toys-- They are doing the 75% mark down today. They were going to break for lunch and then do the toys. I got them to mark down the items I wanted. They had one side of an aisle stuffed with toys. Then a couple of aisles with new toys. Then more clearance items. These were not marked down yet, but I am assuming that they will---S'mores; Tony Hawk 16" bike. Other--- B & D scissors, they had about a dozen of them @ $4.98 Heaters - 50%
  6. I've been told it means that they won't stock the product any more---Not Carried Forward.
  7. Houston Westheimer/Fondren: This store is doing the extra 30% off on clearanced clothes. They were marking down a lot of the men's outer wear and sleep sets to 75%. I was able to get Hane's men's sweatshirt for $1.13 [regular sizes] & $1.48 [extended sizes]. Toys--no movement.
  8. Sometimes they pack up the stuff & take it to the back to do the repricing/retagging.
  9. Houston Galleria: They also had the Home Design at 30%. All items were red ticketed. There are huge, fancy 30% off signs on the walls -- not the regular clearance signs.
  10. Yep, they do get surprised. I remember loading up my cart with 4th of July clothes when they went to 90%. The signs were at 75%, so I just scanned to make sure they were 90%. The manager was at the front when I checked out--he was visibly stunned that they had gone to 90%--he didn't know!
  11. At one of my T, there was a multipack of MM Lemonade juice boxes that had leaked. Multipack was in front part of shelf, in PLAIN sight. There was black mold inside the cellophane. I pointed it out to one of the associates. It was still there around 3 weeks later. When I checked out, I told the manager about it and that it had been sitting there for weeks. When I went a week later, it had finally been removed. You would think that when they restocked the shelves, someone would have removed it.
  12. What percentage off? I don't remember them starting this early last year, or did they?
  13. Houston Galleria: Signs posted on the clearance clothes -- Extra 30% taken off at the register.
  14. I found some of those, too. Strange thing was they also had the AAA, but they were only 30% off -- 70¢.
  15. Sometimes it is stuff that they have found in the store room that was previously clearanced out & is no longer in the system. I've found food items with the large orange/red tag--pasta, tea bags, juice...
  16. Toys: Has anyone in Houston had a chance to check out toys today? [i haven't been able to get away from my office.]
