okiemom00
Unwrapped here! My kids would for sure recognize the wrapping paper or the way I wrap. That's the way it was always done when I was growing up too.
noehlp
EVERYTHING gets wrapped here. I guess maybe someday that might change if it's too big to wrap, hasn't been an issue yet. When I was a kid, my Mom never wrapped anything. The only gifts I got to unwrap (and enjoy the excitement along with it) was from my Grandma. So I made a promise to myself to always wrap my kids' gifts. Though I did not wrap the clothes box for oldest dd, but it is a decorative one. I couldn't as I ran out of tape. Fishboysmom
I wrap EVERYTHING! Even the stocking stuffers. I think getting the presents is only half the fun. Seeing the tree first thing in the morning with all those presents under it, and unwrapping them, makes up the other half. I will never forget the memories I have of Christmas morning. It was the best! I want my kids to have those same memories.
dmmiller
Mostly wrapped, but this year, He's bringing bikes, and I dont think he can wrap those. :)
ajdana726
Mostly wrapped, but this year, He's bringing bikes, and I dont think he can wrap those. :)Sure he can wrap that too. they sell those bike bags, i use them for a lot of things, i make small presents look like bigs ones with those bags, it is fun to stuff them with paper and watch them digging around to find out what is the bottom of the bag By they way i wrap everthing
justjessie99
everything gets wrapped.... except one year we assembled the little tykes tool bench, so just slapped a huge bow on it... same with the long sleds. otherwise I wrap it.!!! Scanner420
Some of both. DS 3 is getting a Bike this year and his older brother is getting a telescope. I also have two sets of golf clubs and an easel (DD5) that'll be set up, along with The Rose Petal Cottage (DD2) and some of the accessories. As for my wife...they're wrapped. Badly, mind you....but they're wrapped.
floridasun5
Some of both. Most all gifts are wrapped except for the big ones. My dd is 14 so we dont have Santa gifts anymore, we just put out the ones that we dont wrap first thing on Christmas morning before she gets up. beccas302
they're usually wrapped (even in the stocking), but we got DS the lego toybox and one of the storage boxes, so we'll leave them unwrapped with a bow on it. Everything else is wrapped in a paper he hasn't seen yet :)
Guest mldepalma
Santa doesn't wrap at my house. Our kids get up earlier than DH and I do so they get to go play with whatever Santa left (unwrapped toys) until we get up. Besides, I don't think Santa likes to wrap... tntsmomie
Santa doesn't wrap in our house, either. Gifts from us or relatives are wrapped, but Santa's presents are unwrapped and sitting in groups (by child) in separate areas of the living room. (leaves lots of room for their presents they unwrap )
leefamily23
Everything is wrapped in our house- except if it were too big. Like in the past a bike- and then a dirt bike. Now mom love's ribbon's and bow's and decorating and coordinating the tags/paper/ect. Santa and the elves don't have time for that- so they are just wrapped w/ no ribbon's or bow's in our house. Also, they never had nametags either. Just in a pile w/ all 1 type of santa paper (guess it helped to only have 1 child).
3cuties4me
Everything gets wrapped except each kid gets 1 big gift that is not wrapped (this year Alexis is getting butterscotch, Austin is getting a ride on john deere tractor and Rylee is getting the rose petal cottage with accessories). The big items are all set up and ready for them to play with when they come down the stairs. ~ Erin (24y/o SAHM to 3 cuties ages 4 and under... plus sweet baby #4 due July 24, 2008)! justprettynpink
Santa wraps in Santa themed paper. Names are written in marker on the presents. Big gifts such as bikes and such are left under the tree with their name on it. Presents from family members are wrapped in non Santa paper with gift tags. dd50
Everything gets wrapped except for really large presents like bikes or kitchens. Even wrap the stocking stuffers.
annzjack
When my kids asked about the paper...I told them santa doesnt have time to wrap. He brings the toys and I get up and wrap them to make the surprise bigger! They agree they prefer to unwrap their gifts so they like that I take the time to do that for them! Shortness
Everything but the stocking stuffers--though I usually wrap some of those. I'm not sure if I will or not this year. They love just diggin in and pulling different things out.
mcapel4444
Santa brings one "big" gift to each kid- that is always unwrapped, and ready to be played with. Their stockings are pretty much wrapped things, except for any loose candy.
llist
Unless the item is large, everything gets wrapped. Things from Santa are in Santa themed paper with special Santa gift tags. Couple years ago DS 12 noticed that some of the family gifts were wrapped in the previous year "Santa" paper... had to quickly explain that when Santa has extra paper he leaves it for moms & dads to use so that nothing goes to waste... now I'm much more careful!! Christy Garner
No Santa gifts wrapped here. Only presents wrapped are the ones from "mom and dad" - Santa presents are set out ready to go in a pile for each son. I do like the idea of wrapping stocking stuffers - think i will be doing that this year to add a bit more excitement.
