Sorry, this past week has been a nightmare around here. I received my gift last week. I loved it! Got a gorgeous Alice in Wonderland bag, magnetic checkers & tictactoe game, owl bath bomb, Bath & Body zlotion and my fave candy, sour pat h kids. It was all perfect! Thanl you again to my secret santa!

I also received a super cute ornament yesterday in the mail. I'm thinking it was from the ornament swap on here, Shannon from PA. lol That is what happens when you do several swaps on several different boards. It's a sparkly red boot, with white feather trim. Inside is a candy cane & swirly suckers. It looks very pretty on our tree. Thank you for picking a unique ornament for my tree.

I got ho me from work about 20 minutes ago (3am) and had my SS box here waiting for me. Unfortunately it looks like it had been used as a ball in a game of kickball. I'm not sure if the glass things had been wrapped up in the plastic, or not, but the lid to the candle was broken all over everything & one the cap on one of the Bath & Body items was unscrewed & was over a few of the items. That was the bad, now for the good stuff- I got spoiled!!! I received a cute Santa mug with a packet of Peppermint Hot Cocoa, a fleece snowflake blanket, a cute little pack of Snowflake Nail Polishes, A sugar cookie Candle that smells divine!,Extra Long Blue Fuzzy Snuggle Sox- they are super soft & amazingly warm, Chocolate Sundae Hand Lotion, Bath & Body Cashmere Glow Shower Gel & Body Lotion, A Nora Roberts Book that I haven't read, and to top it off, one of my favorite candies- Reeces Pieces!! Thank you so much Lori (momlori) for being such a great ss. You did an awesome job!

(((((()))))) And thank you for the reminder of what the holidays should truly be about- spending time with family & friends. My dad & I were involved in a rollover car accident two months ago, on our way to work. Luckily, we both walked away with minor aches & pains. But it really makes you thankful.

My one big obsession on Black Friday had to be Dvds. I usually get home with at least 20 new ones. lol

There are several things on the list that my kids would love to have. lol But not sure if any of those will actually be under the tree or not.

Definately spending less this year. We taking a big whole family vacation to Disneyland, the week of Thanksgiving. And I bought Season Passes for my kids, my mom & my niece and nephew for Six Flags for next year. So everyone agreed on cutting back.

Usually my shopping is done in Citrus Heights CA. But the whole family is driving down to Disneyland the day before Thanksgiving, to spend a week at the the Happiest Place on Earth. So probably no shopping for me this year. Although I might check out some of the online sales.

Oooooo- I have of their $10 promotional gcs. I will have to stop in there this weekend and see if my store is seting up yet.

jstuvem, I am soo sorry for the loss of your mom. (((((()))))))) *I also wanted to thank Tiffany, Lvnlakers78. She had me for the ornament swap,and when she heard my lovely ornament broke, she popped two new ones in then mail to me ASAP!! You rock! :) I got a cute block one that spells out hope and has a cute angel on top. And a really neat sprially penguin one. She also sent me more candy- a Lindt chocolate bar with chili. You went above and beyond as a swap buddy. Thanks so much!

Sent you my DC numbers Eve. Was planning to go to the Post Office on Sat ( I know, nothing like waiting til the last minute. lol) But ended up having to work. So they both went out today. I also received my Ornament today, but unfortunately it was broken when I opened it. Looks like it was a nice glass bulb filled with snow. Also received two boxes of candy.

We've been wrapping at night when I get home from work. My mom & I wrap & have been watching some of the Christmas movies on the Hallmark channel. :) I'm pretty much done with my families gifts. Now just need to finish my swap & friend gifts.

I definately don't have a problem with used books, as someone who buys almost all her boks at the thrift stores. lol We all have common sense- if the book is all written in, or beat up- don'[t send it. But if it looks like the person didn't even crack the spine on it-send away! :) I have most of my person's items, still need to wrap. But am still looking for one more thing. Might try and hit up a few stores tomorrow before I go to work. Mine will def not be going out til Friday. :)

I'm going to finish up my shopping hopefully this weekend & mail at the beginning of next week. Already have my ornaments picked out, just need to wrap & pack them. Cards, well, um, I have them. lol Just need to find time to sit and fill them out. Gearing up for the shopping extravaganza this week. :)

My fave ones are The Polar Express & Elf. My mom has already started watching some of the Lifetime or Hallmark ones.

Santa always come to our house Christmas Eve & we open all gifts on Christmas morning. The kids usually get to open a present or two from Grandma though on the Eve.

I'm almost done with my kids. I need to pick up some cheap mp3 players for my 3 middle boys, and maybe an Ipod Touch for my oldest. I shop all year though, and I do the thrift stores & garage sales. They don't care if they get gently used things. It gives me a chance to give them waaaay more.
