pmdemey Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 This year I am Taking a first aid kit. Could have used it last year over the MP3`s.
bayhaysay Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 I keep bandaids, neosporin, and a alcohol wipes in my van (3 kids) so I'm sure they'll be there on BF but I'm not about to carry around a first aid kit. Just tough it out, lol.
pmdemey Posted October 4, 2007 Author Posted October 4, 2007 Maybe a ziplock kit at least. She got me pretty good, but at least I got my 2 and a couple of people`s for them. I think if that woman see`s me again she will think twice!
freesia39 Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 walmart has a cheapie first aid kit that you can buy - you may just want to add some neosporin and some wipes, since i can't remember what's in there right now. i found it near the travel size items.
alimfp Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 We keep a first aid kit in both vehicles (since we have three small children). So that will be with me, just in the truck.
pmdemey Posted October 5, 2007 Author Posted October 5, 2007 First aid kit was just a starter, I guess what I ment was out of your experiences what have you learned you needed( binder, big purse,no purse, etc.)
vonnyb Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 I have never needed a first aid kit, but I think from now on I am going to wear boots or high top sneakers because last year someone got me in the back of the foot with a shopping cart and it hurt realy bad.
theboyzmom Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 chocolate...it's the only shopping emergency I ever have.... lol ok, I do have one of those cheapie first aid kits that I keep in my car...no room in my shopping bag for anything other than my phone, ads and money...I'll have to limp out or crawl to my car for first aid treatment
Marcster Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 I would think it would be good to have headache medicine and pepto with you.
jarerice Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 I never bring anything like that!!!! Never even thought about it, since the kids are not with me.
jellybean051901 Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 heel protectors for the injuries that occur from shopping carts
ChrisKsAngel Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 Gees, I have never thought about bringing that kind of stuff. So far, I have never needed it. My approach is to bring the smallest purse I can, I have even been know to carry the dreaded fanny pack! The less I have to carry and keep up with, the better!
darianwiccan Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 Duct tape and alcohol is all you need! With these versatile items, you can: Clean wounds Ease pain Apply a tourniquet Bandage a wound Mold a cast (if you have multiple rolls of tape)
queenofshopping Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 painkillers...lots and lots of painkillers i'm tempted to bring a flask with some kind of liquor as well...
H_Hancock Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 Never needed a first aid kit.....but I do have a basic one in each of my vehicles. Have always carried one in every vehicle.....always will. But rarely have ever had a need to use it.....and never on BF.....but then again we avoid Wal-Mart, Target, and other places that attract unruly mobs. Our Best Buy is so well organized and run that even a small child wouldn't have much to worry about, other than getting separated from his/her parent. The shoppers are well behaved and the store is well run and organized. Won't shop where the shopping degenerates into a Wild West-type free-for-all.
H_Hancock Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 painkillers...lots and lots of painkillers i'm tempted to bring a flask with some kind of liquor as well...The liquor certainly would make the wait in line more interesting and entertaining ....
lucyismycat Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 I keep a very small first aid kit in my car, mostly bandaids and antiseptic wipes, and a few headache pills. I've never needed it on BF, but it's reassuring to know it's there jic. Now I'm thinking a little liquor would be handy :) Hey, I live in the midwest, it's COLD waiting in line outside here!
