About ChrisKsAngel

  • Birthday 06/04/1978
  1. We do. Santa brings presents and leaves them opened and put together around the tree. Mom and Dad gives wrapped presents under the tree.
  2. There is no way I could wrap them yet! I would totally forgot what they were before Christmas morning and then I would have to unwrap them! lol But I hide the majority of my toys at my parents house. When she runs out of room, I have to hide them in boxes in my closet. The two or three weeks before Christmas, I hate going in my closet for fear everything will fall out!
  3. well first I scan the ads and see who has what I want most. However, for the past few years I have hit Circuit City first, while I send my husband to Best Buy. From there it is on to Target, then maybe to Kohl's, Macy's, etc. I stay away from Walmart & Kmart.
  4. Gees, I have never thought about bringing that kind of stuff. So far, I have never needed it. My approach is to bring the smallest purse I can, I have even been know to carry the dreaded fanny pack! The less I have to carry and keep up with, the better!
  5. I normally don't go for the ticket doorbusters, so I can normally just around about 4 am at CC and send my husband to BB at the same time. Last year, I was in and out of CC in less than 10 mins. :)
  6. If you didn't get the book, you can still get the coupons on Target's website. When you are browsing the book, just look at the bottom right corner and it says "Season's Sayings." Click there and you can print out all the coupons! Hope that helps
  7. We put our tree and decorations up either the weekend before or the weekend after Thanksgiving. I have a fake tree, and I love it because I can leave it up as long as I like. According to my grandmother, everything has to be down by Jan. 1st. It is an old superstition, and it is the way we have done it for as long as I can remember.
  8. I use the same thing with my DD9. I told them that Santa brings the toys, but mommy and daddy have to help him pay for them. As for my BF shopping, DD has never gone with me and never knows what I get on BF.... so thankfully, I have never had to explain that. But if I do, I am borrowing your idea!
  9. My DD9 still believes. However, I too think this may be our last year believing. It will crush me when she stops believing because she is my only child. For the past two years she has been asking questions, and thankfully I have been able to avoid telling her. She asks me if Santa is real, and I ask her what she thinks. She still believes, but she has some friends who do not. One thing that has been a big help is the Santa tracking they do every year. It is called NORAD http://www.noradsanta.org/en/tracking.php. She loves to watch the videos and listen to where all Santa has been.
  10. I love to wrap presents! I don't buy the "high-priced" paper, but instead I hit up the dollar stores and after Christmas sales. Sometimes for the adults, depending on the present, it may get put into a gift bag. My DD gets presents from my husband and I, as well as "Santa." I usually wrap hers in character or bright colored paper. Santa presents do not get wraped. Instead, "Santa" puts them together and leaves them out around the tree. I've heard "Santa" likes playing with the toys!
  11. I have to agree! I was very prepared this year and it just helped make the experience all that pleasant!
  12. It really depends on the store manager I think. Sometimes they are stongly enforced other times they are not.
  13. Best: Anyplace that offers BF specials on-line on Thursday. :) Worst: Wal-mart (It is always such a mad house.)
  14. The lite is smaller and has a brighter screen. Also they have redesigned the buttons to make it easier to play. Plus the mic on the lite is in the middle as where the reg DS has a mic in the lower left hand corner.
