lovinglyfe Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Thanks for the post of the new code...I went ahead and bought 4, for the price you can't go wrong!
butterfly72 Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 FYI the 40% code expires 1/7 so act quickly if you want in on this one.
dmmiller Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 60% off is back!.. but hurry it ends Jan 10th. Code is MEMBER
AndreaInNC Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 I just ordered a $25 certificate for $4 .. love those 60% off specials!
wdwmoose Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 "Member" worked for me! A steak dinner for $4 ain't too bad
neal Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 How does this work? do you have to necessarily run a tab of $50 minimum to avail of the $25 coupon?
dmmiller Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 it tells you in the small print what you need to spend in order to use your cert. Like you have to have a bill of $35 in order to use the $25, then you'd only owe $10, or whatever the balance is..after the 25 is subtracted.
preacherswife2 Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 I LOVE this place, we used so many of these over the holiday, have never had a problem using the certs and have found a few places that we now love to go to that before we could not afford. $4.00 for 25.00 is a great deal! Thanks to who ever started this thread!!!
sappy Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 How do these work? If it says you must spend at least $35 to redeem a $25 certificate, can you spend $35 and use 2 $25 certificates?
dmmiller Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 I dont think so.. MOst of them say, you can only use 1 coupon per month per restaurant. I just bought 3 more for our vacation in Myrtle beach. whahoo
AndreaInNC Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 Just make sure you remember to tip your server on the total bill before you use your certificate :)
preacherswife2 Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 How do these work? If it says you must spend at least $35 to redeem a $25 certificate, can you spend $35 and use 2 $25 certificates? You can only use one cert. per visit per table. You cannot go out with someone else who also has a cert and both partys use them. The cert will say on it you can use it for: $10. off $15.00/$25. off $35.00, some of the $25.00 also say there must be 4 dinners ordered to use it. They are great, just read them before you buy. They do say only one per month per person. We have used them more than that, one for me and one for hubby, and no one has ever said anything about it. Remember to tip on the full bill, and some of the places we have gone do not include you drinks on the total amount. If you ask your server they will know how they can be used and have always been very helpful to us. We used them on vacation and only found one place we really did not like and it saved us so much money!!!!Buy a few and try them out, watch for the next time they are on special and stock up! They are good for one year from the date you buy them.
fulkersonm Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 I bought 4 for one restaurant in a town near me. We used one and gave one as a gift and I know it hasn't been used yet. Now that restaurant doesn't show up on the list in that town. Should we call before going to be sure they will still accept the certificate. They didn't act too happy when we presented it the last time and we were seriously overcharged so I am not sure we would go back there anyway.

If the restaurant is gone from the site, they are no longer participating. Restaurant.com will issue you a credit and you can use it to buy a certificate to another restaurant.
dmmiller Posted January 12, 2007 Posted January 12, 2007 Yet another code ... KINGFor 50% off - ends the 14th.
KBsDarling Posted January 12, 2007 Posted January 12, 2007 i have had them disappear from the site but the restaurant still honor it. If it was a place you had enjoyed I would call to see. But since if place stunk I would go to restaurant.com to see about going elsewhere dont you LOVE when they opt in to participate in a program and then act all jerky about doing it...
reesiecup Posted January 12, 2007 Posted January 12, 2007 I tried to use the KING code and it keeps giving me this message:Invalid promotional code entered, please try again.

deepblue Posted January 12, 2007 Posted January 12, 2007 Thanks for the code.. !! Bought 4-5 coupons..!
Wirble Posted January 12, 2007 Posted January 12, 2007 This is nice! I am going to Vegas next week to get married. There is about 10 of us going and I was interested in getting some coupons to reduce eating costs. Anyone have any suggestions on what restaurants are good in Vegas?
doreen725 Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 I purchased 2 gift certificates for the Buffet Dynasty restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. We went there last Tuesday and when I went to use the certificate the manager there wanted me to write my full name and drivers license number on the certificate! I refused, because that opens me up to identy theft. No where on the terms and conditions does it mention anything about this. I had to argue with them for quite a while. Eventually they took the certificate, but gosh what a hassle! Not to mention a bit embarrassing.....

Don't know one in particular but several of them usually offer very reasonable cost.
Wirble Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 I tried to register and it came back (in registration) saying wrong password entered, which I thought was strange since it asked me to pick a password. So, I went to my email and sure enough the email that they sent saying welcome had the password that I picked. I then tried to log in, again said wrong password. So, I clicked on the "forgot my password" button and they sent me an email with my username and password, except password area was blank. I tried again with a different email address and it did the same thing. So now I cant get my coupons. Anyone know what is going on? I tried to email them, but it is sunday (and code ends today) so i dont expect an answer until tomorrow. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong or have any suggestions?
Wirble Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 I sent message to them and they gave me a temporary password to get in. Does anyone know what the new passcode is since I wasnt able to log in until after King was expired? Thanks
dmmiller Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 Member was the last one.. but I think that expired on sunday. None to speak of right now. When I get another email, I'll let you all know.
dmmiller Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 Just a reminder... MAGIC ends tomorrow. 1/21/06 :)
