  1. It's official! The finalists have been announced, and the Folgers jingle has been chosen as one of the top five!! Thanks so much for all of your votes!! Now we just wait for John and John to do their thing in NYC next month.
  2. Hi, John Patti is the guy on the steel drum. Each time you cast your vote for the next jingle, you increase your chances to win one of five $100 grocery store gift card daily prizes and the Grand Prize of $10,000! Thanks!
  3. My friend, John Reno, is a finalist. Check out his vid: http://www.bestpartofwakinup.com/vote-for-your-favorite-semifinalist/731558 Please take a second and vote. Thank you!
  4. I've seen some great deals at Lowes and you can't beat 18 months of 0% financing.

    Christmas playlist?

If I have to hear that Red Shoes song one more time, I swear, I am going to take a hostage. How about: Vince Vance and the Valiants: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I1VkMBi9vvw Sheryl Crow and Eric Clapton: John Mellencamp:
  6. Interesting. I prefer a battery since I then don't have to bother with having to pull it out of my workout bag and charge it. I also love the Fm tuner. Sansa rules.
  7. I haven't seen a thank you topic for this year yet so allow me to start it. Thanks to Brad and all the folks that support him in this yearly effort.
  8. Same here. Everything I needed became available on-line including the HP laser that was $90 off with free shipping. Slept in until 9 and am having coffee before heading off to the gym.
  9. So many kind people in here! I buy mp3 players all year long and donate them to the local toy drive. I've never heard of Toys for Teens but that is a great idea. The older kids who go without are often forgotten at Christmas. That's why I do the mp3 players.
  10. There's also people like me who 1. no way in hell would camp out for two friggin days for anything and 2. hope it rains/snows on Thanksgiving day (right after my roadrace).

    Xmas spirit is hard

A friend used to give "Meal a Month" certificates. Every month, she would cook up a really nice meal and deliver it to the recipient. That was very popular!
  12. That's link isn't a grill. It's a rotisserie. I got a great deal on one a couple years ago at LNT, of all places.
  13. I'll check that out. Any opinions on the HP printers in that ad?
