Same here. Everything I needed became available on-line including the HP laser that was $90 off with free shipping. Slept in until 9 and am having coffee before heading off to the gym.

So many kind people in here! I buy mp3 players all year long and donate them to the local toy drive. I've never heard of Toys for Teens but that is a great idea. The older kids who go without are often forgotten at Christmas. That's why I do the mp3 players.

There's also people like me who 1. no way in hell would camp out for two friggin days for anything and 2. hope it rains/snows on Thanksgiving day (right after my roadrace).

A friend used to give "Meal a Month" certificates. Every month, she would cook up a really nice meal and deliver it to the recipient. That was very popular!

I don't want to print photos. I'd go for a color if the deal was right. Can I get a decent color laser for less then $150? It's going to be used as a home office printer. We retired this year and I lost access to my laser printer at work. No network. I just hook my laptop up to it when I need to print.

OK folks, need your opinions. I'm done with inkjet and tired of being screwed on ink prices. Am thinking laser printer. Any suggestions/recommendations for a laser printer on Black Friday? Thanks!

That's exactly how it should be handled. You lead by example and you have zero tolerance for bad behavior.

Which is exactly why money has been proven to be nothing more than a short-term motivator.

As someone who ran my own business and hired and fired more people than I care to remember, I hate to be the one to inform those that think that wages are somehow tied to better service that they are incredibly naive. In all my years of experience, my firsthand account is that it's just not so. There are ways to improve customer service, increasing pay isn't one of them.
