josetann Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 There's two things I want to get before Christmas to keep (so I won't count PS3s and the like). One is a nice high-end watch that can be passed down to my son. He was born this year, so I need to get one before the end of the year, then I can say I got it the year he was born (too bad I couldn't afford one when he was born). Second is a new laptop. Must have a nice screen, dual core, decent graphics, DVD+RW, wifi, and hopefully bluetooth (but that's not a deal breaker). I'd also like to have a decent battery that'd last more than a year and longer than 30 minutes.
sleepyshopper Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 To be LUCKY enough to win some type of lottery to pay for christmas!!A PS3......CotinKandy I know you want one too!!
shoplifter Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 a quality 15", yes 15", LCD for $50. Good all weekend long or online. I hate crowds. It's for a 2nd PC so don't want/need anything bigger, and a 17" CRT is to big for the spot I have in mind.
stiltman Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 My would be another tivo or dvd recorder. Already have 2 preorders for the ps3 and 1 wii and 4 elmo's.
dissident Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 32-37 inch lcd television, preferably 37 inch.
becca0884 Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 Hmm, I plan on getting a Wii when they are more readily available after Christmas or so, so I don't want that. I guess the one thing that I want is an mp3 player and I already asked my mom, dad, & sister to go together and get hat for me.
motoXmom Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 I really don't want anything, at least not that I can think of right now. I'm too focused on kids, DH and rest of family.
arieslove Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 I guess I am one of the few who doesn't care about electronics for Christmas, I'm on my laptop right now . I'm more focused on my kids and dh.

Ohh wait maybe a good sound system for the living room. Maybe that will be the family gift this year. Any suggestions for that one!? Would like something that has good sound but not too expensive. I have no idea of price range because I haven't looked into any yet so any help or tips on what to look for would be appreciated! Thanks

amyers12345 Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 I just want a couple of surprises... my husband always makes me pick out or get my own. Last year he did really well, he remembered (sort of) a few things I had shown him over the past few months. But I still woke up on Christmas morning w/o a stocking...
