Adamtanderson Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 So I was tinking of bringing in a bag to put my purchases in that way I can move easier in the store. But I'm thinking I would be targeted for shoplifting. So any other ideas? Do I fight with a cart, or what?I don't think you will have a problem being targeted for shoplifting because you will be emptying the bag at the register.
Christy Garner Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 I always use a cart at Walmart and Target. They are the stores where I buy most of my stuff.
CrayZMama80 Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 I personally start out without one. Harder then you know what to get through all those crowds. But, eventually I get one or send someone to get one for me. Now if I'm alone in a particular year.. I'm in trouble..lol!
happysunshine28 Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 Its according on what I plan on getting. Normally I do not get a buggy its easier to get through without one. Last year I went to walmart first for a TV and got a buggy but I didnt need it because of the slips they gave out to pay and pick it up in back.
mccabefamily29 Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 Always one in the group gets a cart while the others run and grab stuff.
vonnyb Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 I always get a cart at walmart. The items are usually to bulky to carry througout the store. I just make sure not to turn my back on it for a minute because I know what will happen if I do:mad:
reportermomof3 Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 I don't get a cart unless I know that I will be getting quite a number of items. Sooo much easier to get around a store without one.
Spotted1 Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 I plan on getting a buggy. 3.5 kids means alot of toys to grab, and there's just no way I can pack it all.
satidwell Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 i use a buggy at walmart because i usually get the big things there and i can't carry them so i push them
tdanette Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 I always run in and grab blitz items that i want, then lug it to the front and get a buggy. it's easier to get in and out of certain sections of my store (and faster) when you don't have a cart, then I shop for the rest of the stuff i want. Besides, people with carts as soon as the doors open scare me
rogue1230 Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 I always grab a cart. I always seem to need the big ackward boxes so the cart is a must have. Worst case I don't fill it, it can hold the many layers of clothing i peel off while waiting in line for check out.
bayhaysay Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 I plan on getting a buggy. 3.5 kids means alot of toys to grab, and there's just no way I can pack it all.How do you have 3.5 kids?
m13april Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 How do you have 3.5 kids?Maybe one is on the way? I was wondering that too.
rchristiansen Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 I did last year at Kohl's - I had to bring my daughter (who was three at the time) with me. The people at Kohl's are always so nice. When someone at the check out, saw I had my daughter with me when I entered she let me have her cart. Now it was quite the site to see my daughter riding in the cart holding a griddle and a Nesco roaster hanging off the back!
elena_398 Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 I always usually grab a cart if Im there for more than one thing. Im the shopper who has a list, but sees some other great deal and buys more. lol
neliak98 Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 I always use a cart at Walmart...and it usually ends up completely full. I love love love that KB toys gives you a giant bag you can just fill up as you shop and drag along...so convenient...too bad they don't usually have too much I want.
fernboyle Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 My husband and I always use a cart, he stands with it and i run and drop in the toys and go get more, But he has to watch it, people do try to take stuff out of your cart. Two years ago I was standing in line checking out putting my stuff up and a lady tried to grab comething out of it. So be careful with carts!!
Deal Grabber Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 ALways need a cart in walmart to ward off butters,(LOL).Or to push through the crowd.
arieslove Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 Yes because I had to take the baby with me (she was nursing still). Will have to take the new baby this year for the same reason. Daddy can stay home with the other 3 lol.
blakes_mommy Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 Toy stores I do other places I just stack and run.
amyers12345 Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 MAN!! I hate when that happens!!! My ankle actually swelled up last year! It hurt (my emotions kinda went in that order too!)I've only gotten hit once, but last year I hit my husband several times. He always has to walk in front, and doesn't know where he's going, so he'll just stop to turn and ask. WHAP!! Last year he could barely walk to the car!
kalle1212 Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 I usually take in my stroller. W/out any kids in it. Its less bulky than the cart and I can put my bags in it.
shopping mom Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 I always use one a Wal-Mart but it depends at the rest of the stores
Cecilliadb Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 I'll use a cart at stores I have allot to get at. If I just have to grab a couple things then no.
peachysquirt21 Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 Depends on the store & how much stuff I am getting. Alot of the people who go to Walmart on BF so tick me off. They get carts & stand by the pallets of stuff they wanna get & then when it's announced you can get stuff, they just leave the carts behind & make a mad dash to get what they want & not go back to there carts. So you have all these people going nuts in the store trying to get the stuff & then you have to try & make your way thru all these carts. I'm still praying that I wont have to go this year. Rather go on to another store.
