Grrrrrrr anyone else having trouble with TRU layaway? I have been trying all morning but it keeps cycling back to my cart after I put all the information in ....... thought this would be easier but I am so frustrated

Thanks At least I know there may be some hope I will stop in a few different locations -- the one closest to me is terrible for clearance.

I think I may have missed it ... but anyone still seeing swim accessories on clearance? I saw some about a week ago and just realized I need some goggles and what not for vacation in December ... and of course my closest target has nothing so I am wondering if I should venture around a bit or not bother....

OK so not nearly as funny as they guy above on the couch but ...a couple of years ago I was at Walmart with my mother and there was this loud obnoxious rather large woman pushing her way through the aisles. I have no problem rushing to the bargains but literally shoving people out of your way... obnoxious. Anyway at some point she must not have pushed hard enough and ended up crashing into an endcap loaded with glass jars of turkey gravy. She fell the gravy fell and there she was sitting in a pool of gravy. Kharma sucks.

My Target finally went 90% today...and there was NOTHING left but candy canes and icicles.

Still 75% in MA and RI I have spent more money in Target in the past week checking to see if Christmas has gone to 90%...I need to learn to walk out of the door empty handed.

HM guitars are in electronics or toys??? I am sure someone has already said this but I just can't find it and am hoping to go during my lunch break...I was able to get one camp rock guitar a while back but have two DDs so am crossing my fingers...

I do not know about a Friday sale but I do know that the year before last they had huge discounts most of december...I want to say 30% off their outlet prices (although it may have been 20% off)...this included some of their clearence merchandise.

I got a card in the mail that everything in the store will be buy on get one 50% off all day on Black Friday. So looks like I have one more store to hit since that is all my 9 year old will wear and I their clothes are normally so over priced :)

They should be available at the sale price all day...I was able to pick up last weeks sale prices before 5:00 (not the doorbusters just the two day sale items). and it is only the games specifically pictured in the ad (suite life and cheetah girls) that are on sale not all GBA games. I would try to go early though because the games that were on sale last week were all gone by noon at my TRU.

They have the jacket in girls sizes 7 - 16 as well for the same price...it really is a cute jacket for the price.

Anti-bacterial soaps are all on sale 3 for $15 this week as well. With all the viruses going around I will definitely be stocking up on that

I went yesterday and didn't find any really great deals...I do usually find at least a good selection of bras but yesterday everything was still expensive (over $25 --not really clearancey enough for a clearance sale) or ugly. I may check back though since they apparently have "boxes of stuff in the back"....

I ordered this set for $9.99 last week for my dd (turning 5 in february) and it arrived yesterday...I am so excited she got the doll for christmas and kept asking about "the potty" that goes with it. I got a good deal on the doll at tru in november but there was no way I was paying full price for the activity center...great deal thanks :) :) :)

My youngest will be 5 in February and she LOVES her sister's pixel chix...she plays with it all the time...I ordered the mall for her from Amazon Monday and it shipped yesterday so I am really excited about this deal:)

The TRU was in MA...I used them last year without a problem as well but so far no luck this year...although I saw in another post that having your store call the main office may help I am sure that will go over well with all the people in line...and I swear my TRU is the slowest store EVER

It does not come with a battery only the AC adapter that plugs into the car outlet but we have an AC adapter from an old DVD player that plugs into the wall and that works with it as well so I am guessing any adapter would be compatable. It was available in my walmart as well which was great for me since our old one died yesterday and my kids spend too much time in the car and have become quite spoiled by the in car entertainment.

I had the same problem here...apparently the "take 5 dollars off a $25 purchase" coupons that are printed off the internet are not valid TRU coupons so some stores have stopped accepting internet coupons entirely. I called and complained but was told that individual stores can set their own policies.

They have the alarm clock with an ipod dock for $28...my dd has been asking for one so that will be my 1st stop

I just ordered online before I came here they were still available (although they were soldout of the bella cheerleader which I need for my other daughter). :)

Did anyone get the emailed coupons last weekend from Toys R Us? They were in the same format as the 12 days of Christmas coupons were last year. BUT when I went to my TRU to redeem them I was informed that they do not accept any internet coupons. They had no explanation as to why they sent them to me if they don't actually accept them. So I either have to find a new TRU (which is sad since this one is down the street from work) or I am just out of luck. Has anyone else had problems with internet coupons at TRU???
