Working on BF

Is anyone else going to be condemned to this besides me? It won't really be a problem if there isn't going to be anything on sale that I really want/need, but man it's going to sting a bit to not be able to shop it.

I have been looking for a new job though, so maybe I'll get lucky, stop being lazy and actually looknig harder, and find a job where I'll have that day/morning off. ^_^

I had to work last year, at Wal-Mart, but I worked third shift and was off at 7, so I missed the first hour but was still able to get the things I really wanted, which was mostly clothes and the 10$ vacuum they had (which wasn't that good of a deal as it turns out cause I recently replaced it with a dirt devil and didn't realise how much the 10$ eureka wasn't picking up, let us jsut say eww gross floor)

I work at WalMart. Last year I worked thrid shift, so I was there for the first hour. Well, electronics was nutzoid after the laptops that were cheap, but that was expected. My area wasn't bad, I was guarding the pallet of clothes, oh boy! big huge line there ;) but later on I had heard that one girl in the toys section had been guarding the pallet of cabbage patch kids that were on sale and when she unwrapped them some woman elbowed her in the eye to get at them. Crazy people.

No not working on BF. In the past when I worked outside of the home I would work 3pm-12am on Thanksgiving so that I could be off the next day.

My mother opens a stand at flea markets a few times a year and she is trying to get me to help her that Saturday after Thanksgiving. I keep telling her she might not have many customers due to BF.

I can't imagine what it must be like working in retail on BF.

It must be sheer madness and chaos.

I was a toy department manager at Woolworth's for 2 years back in the late 70's. Even 30 years ago BF was madness, but working BF then probably can't compare to how it is today...

I usually have to work, but not until the 3 p.m. shift, so I'm out there bright and early at our Super Wal-Mart. Here in this small market, 2-3 a.m. is usually sufficient to get in line. They are still in the process of taking the doorbuster pallets out and deciding where they will go at this time.

When I'm done, I can usually get a small nap in before I have to get to work.
