brushstrokes Posted October 22 Posted October 22 (edited) What’s on everyone’s BF’s shopping list?! This year I want a 43inch TV or bigger, an electrical recliner for my elderly mother, and a vacuum cleaner that’s good at sucking up dog hair. I’m also looking to stock up on gifts for my nephews ages 8-11 and my niece, 7. Edited October 22 by brushstrokes
Kanyon71 Posted October 23 Posted October 23 Need a Dyson Air Wrap for my wife. Hoping for some good travel deals. I need a new MacBook Pro.
cllehto Posted October 23 Posted October 23 I'd like a good deal on a 32 inch Samsung television with Samsung TV included. Also kids toys.
Hubbalance Posted October 23 Posted October 23 Right now... under cabinet lights, Disney Farberware and 2 books.
Bopeep Posted October 23 Posted October 23 batteries. always. LOL other than that, I guess I'll just know it when I see it. 3
Gator Pam Posted October 23 Posted October 23 Until just now I hadn’t seen anything. But the flashlight gloves posted in the gift idea contest thread seem like a good Hanukkah gift to me for my recipients. 3
jesusluvu Posted October 23 Posted October 23 I have absolutely nothing on my list. I am just flying by the seat of my pants at the moment. Not good, but I need to get a plan together 2
tracy0504 Posted October 23 Posted October 23 Unfortunately, I need a new Christmas tree this year... that's the only item I have on my list so far... BUT, my goal is to do less shopping for my adult children and it's so hard for me because I'm a giver and it brings me joy to see the excitement on their faces from my gifts... hopefully, I can stick just to my family secret Santa person and buy stocking stuffers for everyone else... my grandson hasn't told me his list yet and my grandgirl will only be 7 months old so she'll be easy... 1
rwking75 Posted October 23 Posted October 23 Other than getting my teenage son a new smartwatch, experiences. Renewing Disney Passes, booking vacation, maybe booking him a Lightsaber building experience at Hollywood Studios. 1
bluebear Posted October 23 Posted October 23 Sigh. I don't have hardly any ideas for people yet. Toys are always good, and sales plentiful. This year I have an infant and toddler grandchildren. I got a bit already on prime days. Both my sons need new converse, so that's one thing I'll be watching for. I usually get them after black Friday, when they'll be on sale but I have kohl's cash from BF shopping. Other than that, I dunno. Hopefully I'll get some ideas from the sales!
ytmomof4 Posted October 23 Posted October 23 Honestly I have no idea this year. I guess once I see the ads I will figure it out
okannie Posted October 23 Posted October 23 Looking for a good buy on the kindle paperwhite. Want to pick up some discounted gift cards. Vanilla romance fragrance from Bath/Body. Then see what is in the ads, may see a good buy on something unexpected.
mommy2twingles Posted October 23 Posted October 23 C and D batteries, box spring, gift cards. So probably nothing on my list
speeddiva Posted October 23 Posted October 23 A cordless Dyson-type vacuum…something for the pet hair that I can spot clean with. The “kids” have all been radio silent so unless they get me a list soon, it’ll be anything goes
Suzy Crampton Posted October 23 Posted October 23 No ideas here yet. Asked kids to have their Christmas lists to me by Nov.1st, so maybe have an idea after then.
Jasonlh1 Posted October 24 Posted October 24 (edited) My Best friend always looking for a deal on boxer briefs. He keeps stealing mine! Edited October 24 by Jasonlh1
HanShotFirst Posted October 24 Posted October 24 I have nothing on any list and am clueless. Funds will be tight as I’ve been on medical leave. 1 1
mjbateman Posted October 25 Posted October 25 I am going to make sure my grandson has what he wants (video games) as he will be moving during the holidays and will need to make new friends in January. He is a military kid.. I will know exactly what I want when I see it on sale 2 1
stewarta4 Posted October 29 Posted October 29 Some new clothes for myself, surprisingly a hoverboard, new towels (kitchen and bath)
berry1014 Posted October 29 Posted October 29 Kohls throw blankets, the $5 story books, barbies and board games from Walmart (we are playing secret Santa to 2 little girls this year)
AuntieJul Posted October 29 Posted October 29 A TV to replace the one currently in my living room. A GoPro camera, preferably with an accessory kit (selfie stick and/or tripod stand at least). Maybe sheets from LL Bean. Makeup and self-care for DD, Nintendo games for DS.
jtitus2014 Posted October 29 Posted October 29 (edited) 14 year old daughter wants a new iPhone, Shein gift card, Nike sweatpants and shorts, On Clouds or Nike Blazers, and Bath and Body works stuff. 11 year old (he will be 12 in December) wants a gaming laptop, Lebron basketball shoes, clothes, and earbuds. 8 year old daughter (will be 9 in November) wants an iPad, clothes, Crocs, baby doll with accessories, and a craft kit that has all the stuff for her to make her on little surprise toys. She makes squishy paper toys with stuffed animal stuffing and draws/colors it. It's really neat and creative. 7 year old son wants a trampoline, Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck playset, Bluey magnetic sensory toy, and new pair of Crocs. He's low functioning autism with developmental delays so we always try to get him the latest playsets with characters he likes. He loves Mickey Mouse, Bluey, Paw Patrol, Cocomelon, and Spiderman so anything that is sensory related I try to grab. We always do a Kohl's throw for each kid with a matching theme Christmas pajama set. They also get a big Christmas bag of goodies as their stocking stuffers. Oldest daughter will get shampoo/conditoner set, Tree Hut, mascara and eye liner, bath bombs, lip mask, face mask, makeup remover wipes, water bottle, face cleansor, and acne patches in hers. 11 year old son will get a new basketball or football, Axe Christmas gift set, Mens body spray, Vbucks, sunglasses, water bottle, deodorant, necklace, and possibly a watch this year. 8 year old daughter will get a Lilo and Stitch tumbler, body spray, shampoo/conditoner, kid makeup, bath bombs, lip gloss, kid face mask, and a child friendly face cleansor. 7 year old son will get a Bluey water bottle, character bouncy ball, shampoo/body wash, sensory toys, and a couple more things that I have to find that is geared toward him. They also get about $25 worth of snacks and drinks for each bag. Their stocking stuffers is one big gift of its on lol but they love opening it first thing every Christmas. ilikefree Posted October 29 Posted October 29 I don't really have a shopping list yet. I do have a good start on my shopping though. I've been watching deals throughout the year and buy whenever I see a good deal on something I think someone would enjoy. I suppose if I need something, I'll see it when the ads come out.
bluebear Posted October 29 Posted October 29 Well looks like we've just added a desktop computer to the list. Preferably Dell. They usually have a pretty good BF sale, so I should be able to find something.
mommy2twingles Posted October 29 Posted October 29 DS just added a Dyson hot and cool fan. Need a good deal to even consider it
starbeck96 Posted October 30 Posted October 30 My daughter (18) has asked for makeup, hair stuff, and perfume. Oh and she has asked for a pair of Birkenstock. We will probably give her money so she can buy clothes as well. I am hoping to be able to get a new laptop (mine is 6 years old) and maybe a new TV for mine and hubby's bedroom. We still have a 32" so want to upgrade. Not really sure what else.
mjbateman Posted October 30 Posted October 30 I am going to make sure my grandson has what he wants (video games) as he will be moving during the holidays and will need to make new friends in January. He is a military kid.. I will know exactly what I want when I see it on sale
