Time for another contest! This will likely be the last of these gift card contests and once again everyone is eligible even if you've won a gift card already. You can also enter up to 10 times - see below.

To be entered to win, reply to this thread with a link to something on Amazon that you think would make a unique gift idea and post a sentence or two about what it is and what kind of person you think it would appeal to.

The contest will run through Monday, November 20th at 11:59pm CST. At that point I'll randomly pick 10 winners and you'll each win a $15 Amazon gift card.

Important! You can post to enter the contest once per day (each day ends at midnight CST) for up to 10 total entries. However to make things easier when picking winners, please do not post in the thread more than once per day. You can edit and add additional items to your original post for that day if you'd like to post additional gift ideas.

Good luck!

How about a model train set:

Model trains are most often given to boys, but I have heard some girls and women who said they coveted their brother's model train, so give to either.  Around 7 to 10 years old for a first set like this (HO scale).  Be sure though to buy a bit of extra track beyond just an oval.

For those with budding engineers. I know nothing about the quality of these, but the reviews seem decent and if one has the room, 3-D printing appears to be a fascinating hobby to get in to.

We recently purchased this and it was actually supposed to be a Christmas gift for me but we just had to try it out. We love it! Would also make a great addition when hosting holiday parties. I think it's a perfect gift for adults that enjoy having a cocktail. You can even choose mocktail setting for those that don't like alcohol.

I have one of these and not only do I love it but DH uses it too.  It has warming and massage and compression options.  If you know anyone who works alot with their hands or has general hand pain...I highly recommend this

(it also has a $20 off right now and a 10% coupon)

My daughter loves doing nails.  She is 17 and is planning to major in music (vocal) when she goes to college, but after she gets her degree, she plans to go back and get a cosmetology license, nail tech license, and esthetician license.  She just can't choose between music and the cosmetology field so I told her why choose, do both. 🙂 So this would be a great gift for her.

I had never heard of a melodica before my son wanted one. This would be good for someone who wants a cheaper one to start out with to see if they like playing it before they get a more expensive one.

Thanks for reminding me of this. 👍

I got one of these for my mom a couple of years ago to help with her arthritis.

I'm going to get one for my daughter this year. She is an artist and does a lot of drawing and her hand gets sore sometimes.
