magickallight Posted November 9, 2019 Posted November 9, 2019 I do all of my shopping online - unless my 79 year old mother REALLY wants to go somewhere - then I tag along, but I DO layout which sites I will hit first. So my question for you is "Have you chosen your first stop yet or are you waiting for all the ads?" 1
ilikefree Posted November 9, 2019 Posted November 9, 2019 I'm waiting for the ads to come out before I decide, but we usually hit up Walmart, Meijer or Menards first, depending on what they have and what we're looking for. 2
bluebear Posted November 9, 2019 Posted November 9, 2019 I'm almost all online too. Except mama likes going to Kohl's after dinner Thursday, and to Home Depot Friday morning at 6am for batteries. Then we always hit Petsmart at 7. I imagine we'll stay with this same plan this year. Of course, my Kohl's shopping will already be all done!
len_mullen Posted November 9, 2019 Posted November 9, 2019 While online shopping may change my plans, I plan to wait in line at Staples for my new desktop. (I will likely stop at Walmart on my way home from Thanksgiving dinner at my in-laws.) From there, I will hit Home Depot (same shopping center) and probably do Kohls.
abentley Posted November 9, 2019 Posted November 9, 2019 I have seen NOTHING that even has caught my interest! In my defense, my needed gifts are almost already purchased, and I use BF for extra gifts and household fun extra purchases. I might be doomed into not shopping this year!! 1
laddhorn Posted November 9, 2019 Posted November 9, 2019 We will likely be stopping at JC Penney first as it opens first. lol. I don't know if we will SHOP, though. We may just pick up the giveaways and come back after the crowds die down. We will be online shopping for any of our "must haves".
mgreen Posted November 9, 2019 Posted November 9, 2019 Not much shopping left to do. Will probably go to Macy's and do all of the "free after rebate" items. I think anything else I have on my list can be done online. Might also go get the scratch off card at JCP.
jesusluvu Posted November 9, 2019 Posted November 9, 2019 Nope, waiting for the ads. I already have taken advantage of some of the early sales from Kohls and Target.
jaymacfla Posted November 9, 2019 Posted November 9, 2019 Walmart is the single point of failure in the plan right now 1
HanShotFirst Posted November 9, 2019 Posted November 9, 2019 Walmart is the single point of failure in the plan right nowThis! 1
colemandawn4905 Posted November 9, 2019 Posted November 9, 2019 Last year our Bath n Body was opened real early so I went there then Walmart.
Kanyon71 Posted November 9, 2019 Posted November 9, 2019 Either Walmart or BestBuy. That’s if I can’t get what we want that night. If I can then it’s open.
angelbabymommy Posted November 9, 2019 Posted November 9, 2019 I’m online as well for the majority of my stuff, but I am waiting to see what Walmart has to offer. I usually venture out mid day just because I like to shop. 2
jewleyp Posted November 10, 2019 Posted November 10, 2019 Online for all the important stuff but I love going to PetSmart Friday morning. My sister will be here so I am sure we will hit some spots Thursday night !
MariahA Posted November 10, 2019 Posted November 10, 2019 I'm waiting on Walmart's ad but I already know it'll be there or Dollar General first. DG is mostly for the fun of being first in line somewhere usually.
tracy0504 Posted November 10, 2019 Posted November 10, 2019 My first stop is usually Kmart but our last Kmart is closing the day before TG...I will probably hit up Rite Aid and Walgreen's that morning and not sure after that... I want to stop by JCP for that coupon buttt idk...
jaymacfla Posted November 10, 2019 Posted November 10, 2019 I have chosen my second stop....BJs. Now waiting on the big fish to swim by...
giz Posted November 10, 2019 Posted November 10, 2019 I'm mostly all online except for what I get at Kohl's with my in-store only coupon, Menard's and then usually wander Walmart to see what they have leftover. Will be at Menard's when they open.
mjbateman Posted November 10, 2019 Posted November 10, 2019 I have done a lot of online shopping already with the daily deals. I will more than likely go to Walmart just because it is a tradition in the family.
cab0ad Posted November 11, 2019 Posted November 11, 2019 Heck, I am almost done since Kohls had the early bird sale. I am waiting to see what Sephora, Ulta, and Walmart have. I TEALLY need a good deal on a Vitamix blender for my husband. Macys may be an option, but it hasn't come out yet.
HanShotFirst Posted November 11, 2019 Posted November 11, 2019 Still waiting on Walmart and Home Depot. HD will most likely be my first stop Friday morning since there is always something in their ad I want or think I need. 2
wittenlover Posted November 11, 2019 Posted November 11, 2019 Still waiting on Walmart and Meijer at least before figuring out my game plan.
flyjar Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 Best Buy or Target, 12am Friday. I try to avoid shopping on Thursday as a small boycott to stores being open on Thanksgiving. But since both close at 1am those have to be first.
Bopeep Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 Most of my shopping gets done online, so our first stop depends on what my sister and daughter need most. It's usually Target or Walmart, and if I had to guess I'd say it'll be Target this year.
starbeck96 Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 I plan on doing some shopping online. From Walmart, I am hoping to snag the Instant Pot, IP blender, Pioneer Woman's crockpot, and a few other things. However, I am always scared of ordering from Walmart online, especially things that I desperately want..lol. Walmart will be my first stop. We always go to our local Walmart first and then head to a bigger town to do the rest.
