starshine Posted November 1, 2004 Posted November 1, 2004 Okay I thought since we are still waiting on those ads we could compare Halloween clearence items we have found. I went to Wal Mart this morning and everything Halloween was 50% off. Got my mom TONS of candy for her Chocoholic guys at work and some for myself! LOL I wanted to get my sons costume for next year but there where no Devil comstumes (which is what he wants to be). Oh well I will keep looking. And on a BF topic all the blue vested people at Walmart where busy as bees putting up there Christmas stock of things. I think there may be a good Game sale this year tons of games being stocked.
genoandkiddo Posted November 2, 2004 Posted November 2, 2004 Wait a week and kmart will have the rest of their halloween stuff for 90% off. Which you can still get some good stuff.
Secret Squirrel Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 Target in Concord, NH is still 50% today (Weds). Holding out for 75 or better.
RossMAN Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 We have a Target nearby I'll have to check it out.
BFQueenofNY Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 My Walmart was pretty bare at 50% off. I bought myself a halloween denim shirt for $5
genoandkiddo Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 Kmart will have there 90% off starting Saturday. They had a few things that I wouldn't mind getting. I know some of the stuff will still be there because nobody wants them, BUT I DOOOOO!
BFQueenofNY Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 My Targets is hit or miss with seasonal clearance. I bought a small "halloween" fondue pot that was orange for $4.28 but other than that all that was left was really just candy. I really have to scour their clearance shelves and look at the original value closely. I collect clearance items to use them for oops presents alot(you know "oops" I forgot your birthday/anniversary/etc). I am going to check Kmart out tonight and see what they have left.
genoandkiddo Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 BFqueen, I do that too. You almost have to do that now-a-days. I love kmart's clearance for that. I can't wait for Saturday. It will be slim pickin's but that's okay. 90% off is not something I stick my nose up at. Walmart I got a few more tombstones for my graveyard and a halloween doorbell. Because of the 90% clearances my children are also done for Easter(unless bf has something really good). Anybody going to test drive a Kia to get the Free Shrek Movie?
Ankit Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 lol, my mom is up to date on all this stuff somehow without a forum, in the morning she had me print out phone numbers for our local target's, she wanted to call about 75% off the halloween stuff

Guest Luckycharm Posted November 4, 2004 Posted November 4, 2004 One Walmart I was at (working) yesterday had bags of candy, the good kind, for 50¢ a bag. I picked up 3 bags of Kit Kats.
RossMAN Posted November 4, 2004 Posted November 4, 2004 Target will go 75% tomorrow on holloween stuff and on sunday it will be 90%suggest if you really want it get there tomorrow at 8am ..there will be little to nothing left sundayThis sucks for those of us who start work at 8AM
genoandkiddo Posted November 4, 2004 Posted November 4, 2004 Well, like I said in a previous post, what is left will be okay because you don't snub 90% off. Even if it is lame pickin'. You don't kick a gift horse in the mouth.
starshine Posted November 6, 2004 Author Posted November 6, 2004 I went to Walmart today and my son got his costume for next year for 3.00. He is going to be a Nazgul from Lord of the Rings. You know one of those faceless guys chasing Frodo. ANd I also got him a double edged ax for .40 Glad that I got it now instead of full price next year.
bigmochick Posted November 7, 2004 Posted November 7, 2004 I got a bunch of costumes at Wal-Mart for 75% off. I've already wrapped them up for X-mas gifts for my daughter. She loves to play dress up!
geomacey Posted November 7, 2004 Posted November 7, 2004 BigMoChick, I did the same thing with the Target 75% off. Got three really pretty princess gowns/accessories (Barbie Princess/Pauper, Belle and a purple crushed velvet gown) for $19 that DD can use as dress up or put on her BIG gift this year .... My Size Swan Lake Barbie that I got after Christmas for $28.75! Next to BF, I LOOOOOOOOOOVE those after-Christmas clearances!!! The thrill of the hunt....
genoandkiddo Posted November 7, 2004 Posted November 7, 2004 You all know that the Halloween clearance is the start of the BF season. YEEEEEAAAAHHHH! How many more days left until BF. 19 more days. Oh MY!!!!!
starshine Posted November 7, 2004 Author Posted November 7, 2004 I went to my Local P&C today and they had 75% off Halloween They have the 6 foot blowup lawn ornaments for 9.99. I am going to hold out and see if they go down any more. THey had tons of them
genoandkiddo Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 Target Has there halloween stuff for 90% off and they have alot. I bought a few things. Costumes for 2.00 and a huge tombstone for my graveyard for 1.00. Some halloween shirts for .40 a piece.
Vampora Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 My target was very low on their stuff today, all I grabbed was a .40 t-shirt & a .09 light-up candy ring. Oh well, .50 on stuff that retailed for $6
outnumbered Posted November 9, 2004 Posted November 9, 2004 Walmart was doing the 75% off still today, and surprisingly still had things left. I got a vinyl tablecloth for 65 cents, packs of napkins for 25 cents, even 10 cent cookie cutters. And one of those was a pumpkin that I can use for Thanksgiving too. I have a feeling we'll be semi-Grinchified this year at Christmas, too, and then I'll hit the clearance in Jan. This year we don't appear to be much in the holiday spirit, but next year we'll be set!
missmandiew Posted November 9, 2004 Posted November 9, 2004 Over the weekend, I was at Big Lots and their Halloween items were 75% off. I bought two really cute candy dishes for around $2 each (reg $8). Some of their fall items were already 50% off. :2dollar:
