  1. It has been reported on another board that several members are receiving codes for ebay purchases today via email. One is $25 off of purchase of $100+ another is $10 off $50. You have to pay with paypal. I haven't gotten either email and wondered if the codes are generic and if so what are they? TIA!!!
  2. I bought 6 games during the F&F sale. The only plus was I was able to order the not yet released titles at 20% off. The next weekend it was B2G1, it was online, and you couldn't get titles that hadn't been released yet. I think I'm going to be taking the majority of those back bought at 20% and do the B2G1 deal instead.

    Tickets

I told you all I had to check them out. The brown ones are 89.99 at Amazon but they are backordered until Dec. 19th. Cutting it a little to close to Christmas for my liking.

Wow! I'm out of the loop! I've never even heard of Zunes before. I'll have to go check them out. . .
  5. Yikes! What did you get for your 13 hour wait? And what is the reward for being one of the first five costumers at TRU?

    Not Happy

I'm so sorry to hear that. That would certainly put a damper on shopping. Hope that you can rejoin the work force soon!
  7. The fun starts sooner than that if you plan on shopping on Thanksgiving Day! My family is going to hate me so much...food was great, gotta run....
  8. No, I don't limit the things they put on their lists but I do limit what I buy from the list. My kids have never gotten the impression that if you ask for it, they will receive. That is just building them up for disappointment later down the line. I also get things that they didn't even put on their lists. I'll never forget when Santa Clause got my DD a dollhouse and she was so excited to see it under the tree. Then she said, "How did Santa know I wanted this...I didn't even know I wanted this!!" :) It adds to the surprise and excitement of Christmas!
  9. I guess that my whole town is full of hothead WM loyalists, as we have NO CHOICE. There is no other retail chains an hour and a half any direction. My flyer came today and they are charging us, here in the unemployment capital of Missouri, $488 for the laptops and desktops. I feel like taking a shotgun to the sign that says "Shop Local". Or at least taking a can of paint and adding "....Support WalMart". This is exactly why I don't shop local!!
  10. So it is ALL fisher price toys and not just the preschool ones? I read somewhere that someone thought it was just the toddler toys. I hope it is all of them, I'd definitely be interested in a Pixter.
  11. I found a news release that told of a couple of good deals that Shopko and Pamida will be having on BF. "In addition to free coffee and cookies for shoppers, ShopKo is offering dozens of "six-hour doorbuster" specials Friday from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m. including a portable DVD player with a 7-inch screen for $79.99, a traditional DVD player for $17.99 and a half-carat weight diamond ring or pendant for $99.99." Here is a link to the article:http://phx.corporate-ir.net/phoenix.zhtml?c=111443&p=irol-newsArticle&ID=785557&highlight= Come on Shopko...Give us the ad already, while I am young!
  12. Okay, I'm confused. The Nov. 21 - 25 ad says that the laptop and desktop are $488. Then the one in the middle, the 5-11 that says "no rebates, no hassles" has the laptop at $378 and no desktop at all. My zip code is 64628 if anyone cares to verify.
  13. The past couple of years my first stop has been Kohl's and then on to Wal-Mart (ads in hand) to price match.
  14. No, I'm not excited to see it after reading all the deals and planning out my stragedy. There is nothing to get excited about anyway. I live in rural Missouri, close enough to get the KC Star but not close enough for them to include all the ads in our papers. The papers cost the same whether you get the ads or not, it kinda p&sses me off!

    Nintendo DS

Thanks for that! I have a teal one on layaway at Wal-Mart and keep going back to see if they got any pink in. I guess I can stop making those unnecessary trips now!
  16. I'll probably be getting the Fisher Price sets from Wal-Mart for my nephews. I had something entirely different in mind before I found out about those deals. So the answer to the question would be no, I wouldn't be buying it if it weren't such a great BF deal. BTW, the Gameboy Advance SP is SOOO much better than the regular Gameboy Advance. You can actually see/play it without having to sit under a light.
  17. Thanks so much for posting this!!
  18. It is true that Kohls is higher than Wal-Mart, Target, etc to begin with but when it is 50%, there are great deals to be found. This is especially true with the higher dollar items. I got my DS a big Geo-trax that Wal-Mart carries for 39.00. Kohl's original price was 44.99 and I got it for 22.49!! If Geo-Trax is as big this year as it was last, someone could make a killing with those kind of deals.
  19. Mark, Were you once a regular poster on GameFAQs? Your username seems familiar for some reason.
  20. Does anyone know if they are starting Gymbucks on BF too?
  21. Toys R Us price matches as well. Wal-Mart price matches BUT it has to be an actual price. They don't honor % off and buy 1 get 1 free gimmicks.
  22. Probably about 6 hrs. I go to bed EARLY because of all that turkey!
  23. I get all the ads Thanksgiving Day in the KC Star. All except for Wal-Mart. We get that in the mail like the Monday before Thanksgiving.

    Wal-mart ad

Well I know that the Bratz Slumber Party is already marked 8.88 on the shelf at Chillicothe, MO. I tried and tried to find some while I was there Tuesday. No luck! I bet because it IS in the BF ad. Somebody was jumping the gun!
  25. So are they listing them as precentages off this year instead of dollar amounts? That's great, Wal-Mart doesn't ad match those types of sales! Really looking for a V Smile for 4 yo and a Leapster for 6 yo. Nothing too interesting here.
