Our son will be home from college Thanksgiving week, daughter is out of school most of the week and hubby took vacation time for the week. My hope is that Christmas lights will go up outside on Wed and that Thursday after dinner that we will put up the tree while watching Christmas Vacation. We were suppose to be headed to FL this Thanksgiving but plans were changed and we are now staying home. I'm really hoping that since no one will be visiting during Thanksgiving that we will be able to decorate and have the entire house decked out.

DH is going to do it while I'm out of town the 1st weekend in December. I'm such a Scrooge, I'd put up a little table-top tree and call it good, DH on the other hand, puts up 11 trees and my house looks like a Christmas store blew up when he's done.

We usually would this weekend to have the house decorated for Thanksgiving. However our plans have been set to the side on that, we are living in the middle of 7-8 foot snow drifts and not looking at getting out anytime soon.

Christmas lights are going on the house this weekend, whoo hoo. It got really cold all of a sudden a few weeks ago all of a sudden and dh hates the cold. I was really worried I would have to crawl up that ladder in 20 degree weather to attach lights to our gutters. Thank goodness for a small break of 50 degrees before the temps drop again Monday.

I will decorate inside after I take my final in statistics next week. Hell, I will be so happy that class is over that I will be drinking spiked eggnog while doing it, lol. Now I know why I skipped statistics - too many numbers.

I bought a new tree from Target yesterday since they are 50% off. I did put it up today to make sure I still like it. I didn't decorate it yet or anything else. Maybe tomorrow some can get done since we are not doing Thanksgiving until Saturday.

Houseguest not leaving until the tues after Thanksgiving so that will delay me. I don't like to have "extra help" when I am decorating! Mind you it's not physical help....lol live Tree will go up early in the week so it can drop before decorating

Tree was completely decorated last night and wreaths outside. I tried talking hubby and son to put up the lights outside tonight but so far they are not getting with my program. They think tomorrow morning sounds better.

it's driving me crazy that we aren't decorated! We just moved this week though and I have no idea where the Christmas stuff is much less do I have a living room to put it in as mine is covered with boxes.

I am mostly done. I just have to get my new train set up under the tree.  I hope it works out the way I see it in my mind :).

We don't know when we will be in our new house yet (construction grumble grumble) so we went and bought a new fake tree Sunday and put it up. We got the iTwinkle tree from Lowes it's pretty cool. :)
