flyjar Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Well this is a good way to start out the week.
faceofboe Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 5 PM? Doesn't look like they'll be getting my business this year. Last year's start time was cutting it pretty close but 5 pm is a definite deal breaker for me. 6

Tigger97498 Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 I dont know that leapad2 looked like a pretty good deal. Im not in the toy market since I have no kids but isnt it usually pretty expensive?
magickallight Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Wonder if the Online deals will start at 5 on Thanksgiving as well... that would be doable... just have to put the turkey in the oven a little earlier this year.
miller205 Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 I would like to get that Swap Force set but I can only assume it will be around that price most everywhere. I am not hauling my cookies 45 minutes to the nearest TRU at 5 pm on Thanksgiving Day. 1
racerfan Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Woo Hoo. Not that I need TRU but it is a big ad
Mandy4Matt Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Yup, 5pm ...we'll be eating. BUT that Furby Boom caught my attention because my son has mentioned it....that's about half off. There are some deals in there for sure!
dymplz8 Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 I am really irritated with the earlier times. I really would like to get the Leapfrog LeapPad 2 and of course its available in store only. 1
Brad Posted November 4, 2013 Author Posted November 4, 2013 Wonder if the Online deals will start at 5 on Thanksgiving as well... that would be doable... just have to put the turkey in the oven a little earlier this year. It says 12:01am Thursday in the ad (so Wednesday night)
mommy2twingles Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Hoping to pricematch the infinity starter set at Walmart. No way I can make it to TRU by 3 to line up. Glad to start seeing some of the bigger ads today. We leave on vacation next Monday and I was sure I was going to miss most of them.
berry1014 Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Not seeing much that my kids want. A couple legos sets and maybe a board game or 2 but thats about it. I wont get there until way later then 5 so I am not sure of this will be worth the stop.
tyreejames Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 I dont know that leapad2 looked like a pretty good deal. Im not in the toy market since I have no kids but isnt it usually pretty expensive? That's a pretty great price for that; it's going for $70-80 on Walmart.com right now and I think it's on sale somewhere this week for $75.
tyreejames Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 (edited) I am really irritated with the earlier times. I really would like to get the Leapfrog LeapPad 2 and of course its available in store only. I would love to get it at that price as well but there's no way I'm getting to TRU at 3 or so to stand in line. Here's to hoping that Amazon matches the price on the Disney blu-rays. pogiporkchop Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 I haven't looked at the ad yet, just reading comments now, but 5pm? Really? Really? (Yeah, I'm at a loss for words.)
daysangel Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 See a few wants, but no must-haves. I'm hoping for some Amazon price-matching. I won't be going to TRU unless its Friday evening or Saturday since my wants aren't doorbusters.
Tara3117 Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Did I miss it or did they not have any My Little Pony stuff this year? It's pretty much the only thing my nieces want!
queenkishaa Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 The 3ds with Luigi's mansion is $149 which is $20 cheaper than GameStop bfad.
princessbsl45 Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 The SwapForce and Disney Infinity caught my eye but I noticed it was in store only and like most people, we will be eating Thankgiving dinner during that time. Hoping Best Buy or Amazon will do an online price match Wednesday night!
misshayley Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Do you think this will be the cheapest we see the Disney Infinity?
faceofboe Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Did I miss it or did they not have any My Little Pony stuff this year? It's pretty much the only thing my nieces want! They have the MLP wedding castle, if I remember correctly.
riven3d Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Do you think this will be the cheapest we see the Disney Infinity? i think WM or Target possibly both will beat the price
cab0ad Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 do you mean that Amazon will post the same items for similar prices? I'd love to get the furby boom for the TRU price but not enough to miss thanksgiving dinner. would amazon post that price? would it be during the same time frame or different time frame?
BFQueenofNY Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 5pm is a touch early for me. I, too, will be eating dinner. If TRU has infinity for that price, so does Walmart and Target.
racerfan Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 I think Amazon is just sitting there looking at theTRU ad and saying "hmmm we will go lower..." 3
leefamily23 Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 5pm was a bit of a shock I was still expecting 8pm. Glad I only have 1 person to buy toys for and I already got hers.
Erdica Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 I for one am over the early start times on Thanksgiving. I work retail....so that means the employees have to be there a couple hours earlier than that! So what's the point of spending time with your families....and the earlier start time means customers have to get there earlier too. I want Black Friday to go back to being on FRIDAY! Geez. And I wasn't overly impressed with the ad....I hope the other big ones are better..... *disappointed* 1
Mychal11 Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 Hopefully Best Buy, WalMart and Target start their sales later, so this time I have time to make it to at least 1 other store and get some deals. That Swap Force pack is a great deal at $37 when GS has it for $49. With my $10 off coupon it will be $27, so that makes it a must buy. That Dancing Dave is great too for $25.
