KrissPenn149
Hi, I think I posted this last thread with the wrong subject line! Sorry about that. Anyway, this is in regards to a special deal on KarenKooper.com. Apparently there will be free shipping on all items: Louis Vuitton & Chanel : until X-MAS day, Dec. 25th. 2005. Here is the promo message I received in an email from their site: http://www.karenkooper.com/Magasin/KKstuff/Promo_Email1.jpg Also, she is apparently offerring a free Chanel gift on purchases over $25 but I heard this from another user from the site, so I'm not sure if this is still available. Merry X-Mas to all :)

KrissPenn149
The FAQ on the website says that shipping is free when you purchase above $100 regardless of the promo.
hpowers
If I'm paying $100.00 for a purse I better get free shipping!
KrissPenn149
karenkooper has an eBay id after doing a google search. She's got alot of the same things listed there as on her site, but it looks like a bit cheaper on her site. Cool feedback tho I luv these smilies, lol
KrissPenn149
Anyone know of any other good LV\Chanel websites? I like yoox.com too... Do the smilies randomly change each time? They're so many its almost hard to choose, lol

femalesliealot
I say "Wow" because if I could afford any of that stuff I wouldn't be on gottadeal.com looking for deals.
KrissPenn149
LoL There are probally some deals available on the site. Just the other day there was a Chanel wallet for $220 - not bad
alimfp
I don't think I've spent $220 on myself TOTAL in one year. I guess my idea of a good deal is a wallet for $5. I'd rather buy a knock off (but I'm not a brand name type of gal, so it doesn't bother me either way). Cute stuff!
freesia39
I say "Wow" because if I could afford any of that stuff I wouldn't be on gottadeal.com looking for deals.i lust after that stuff, but i'm still here. does that count? actually, if i had the money, i would have run out and bought an LV bag by now. i have a coach bag and wallet, and i am not a fan of chanel bags. (their perfume on the other hand...) but i've never looked at the various online retailers for them though. now, if LV had an outlet like burberry does, i'd be ALL OVER IT. even sample sales... femalesliealot
My girlfriend was completely obsessed with owning a LV bag a few months ago. Then we took a weekend trip to New York with our daughter to see The Wiggles Live and we just happened to run into about 50 stands selling knockoffs. She came home with a knockoff LV purse, LV wallet, and LV luggage bag...all for under $150. Now that's a deal compared to spending $5000 on the authentic ones that look just the same. angel-too
I just came back from NY........with a ton of LV's in tow!....When you ran into the stands, didn't they have to take you to the "back rooms"? I'm a LV addict, (knockoffs of course!) To date I have 6 LV bags, 1 pc. of luggage, duffle bag, 2 pr. of shoes, beach towel, lighter, waist bag and I can't think what else...........and can't wait to go back to NY!!! We got some great deals by stopping, looking at the stands and looking interested...then walking away and let the stand seller name a price. With the luggage he origionally wanted $90 but just by walking away he kept yelling lower and lower prices and we ended up getting it for $55. It was only our second time in New York and we loved it. Can't wait to go back again.
angel-too
Hmmm, 7th and 8th, I'll have to check that out. Usually, if they have the LV emblem on them, it's illegal, so they hide the stuff in the back. We were in Chinatown.
floridasun5
Why would anyone want to buy cheap knockoffs? People who dont know any better will say that they look just the same, but they really dont. A true collector of designer items can spot a fake a mile away and just looks silly. I collect Gucci bags and I cant imagine carrying a fake. It kinda defeats the purpose of knowing that you own a high end peice of merchandise that will last forever. I could just never understand why people want to buy fakes. There are plenty of legitimate bags that you can get at Macy's and such that look just like LV's or whatever designer you are after that run in the same style, but arent illegal knockoffs! Paying several hundred dollars for a few shreds of fabric sewn together that just so happen to form a flexible container with a single opening is what I would consider "silly." my3bellas
I agree with you femalesliealot. I have a tip. I have a place called Savors in my state (RI). It's a second time around store. I have picked up excellent bargains. I got a brand new Liz claiborne pocketbook for .99. They have color coded price tags and on Mondays they have .99 on a specfic color tag for that day. I have gotten nine-west, gucci and guess purses for either .99 or below 10.00 dollars. Now I call that a deal. And for the rest of the ladies here, I personally would not pay 200.00 for a pocketbook, but what counts is what purse makes you happy. If you like it then everyone will love it!!!!!!! gotdealtoday
I would rather buy some nice and special shaped and usually dirt cheap.

Im not trying to brag on myself, but I dont understand why someone would want to buy a fake. If you want that look, then buy a legal replica or something similar, dont help to support ripping off a company's image just so you can act like you have a high end designer bag. angel-too
I'm not trying to "act" like anything for anybody..............Hubby bought me a $600 Fendi, and you know where it is, in my closet, because I'm "over it". So will never pay those prices again...........I've had many people comment on my bags, and their mouths drop when I tell them its fake.....(no I don't try to "pull anything off") because they are sick that their husbands paid so much more and it looks the same. They examine it, and cant tell the difference, so I don't know how many "experts" are out there, but I don't care, I don't need to impress anyone.
