lovebears65 Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 I took you guys suggestions and emailed Best buy about the fiasco at the Best Buy I went to on BF and how the first 3 people in line got all the tickets for emachines and how so many people cut in line and even a best buy employee was holding spots for 5 of his friends. And they called to appolize and said they got a lot of complaints about the same thing I wrote them about and they will be doing things different next year . She asked for suggestions and I did suggest the barrers for the cutters have people out there earlier to to hand out tickets make sure it was one per person. OF course I would have loved her to offer me a 149 dollar computer but that didnt happen but I did appeciate the call
queenofshopping Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 that's great, it's so nice to see someone's actually paying attention to customers' complaints
alimfp Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 Well, I am glad they called. It's so much better then a dumb form email reply! Hopefully you just helped improve next years BF.
laffnatu Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 It's nice to see someone is paying attention to the craziness of BF. Hopefully next year will be better.
Guest all2tired Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 That was nice that they got back to you. Hopefully they'll take your suggestions for next year
civicracinggirl7 Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 Our BB wasn't really bad... the worst that happened was that when the tickets were being handed out, some people from the back of the line would run up and grab them from the employee's hands, but they wouldn't make it very far with it since those of us that had been waiting for 5 hours weren't standing for it lol.
Kandy Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 its great to hear they took the time to call you and not blow off the email.
erh12275 Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 It's great they called. Hope they pass the message along to the store. Do you plan on going back next year and trying again to see if they change?
ebony0421 Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 I'm glad that they called you and asked for your opinion. I was hoping that she offered you something also. It would've been nice of her to allow you to purchase the computer now.
WELUVKDS79 Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 That's good..at least they took the time to listen:)
msomnipotent Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 It's good to see that some chains are taking this problem seriously at last. And it would have been nice of her to offer a coupon, or a small gift card.
elena_398 Posted December 3, 2005 Posted December 3, 2005 My sister complained via email to Walmart. She recieved her apology phone call last week. I was shocked at that
butterflyksses Posted December 6, 2005 Posted December 6, 2005 They didn't call me. I got an email over a week later, and it didn't even address my concerns. I was very disappointed.
wright1baby Posted December 6, 2005 Posted December 6, 2005 They didn't call me. I got an email over a week later, and it didn't even address my concerns. I was very disappointed. Was computer generated or did someone actually take the time to type an e-mail? It would be nice to know someone actually read and responded rather than a computer generated, "so sorry you had a probem Mr/Mrs X."
Gporter34 Posted December 6, 2005 Posted December 6, 2005 I'm glad they actually called you. I think it would have been great if they would have offered you a computer for the sale price. But at least they acknowledged your complaint and hopefully they will do better.
