scarface Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 Seen other ppls posts about their forecasts but will the weather where you are affect what time you will go to wait in line? Most likely it will here in jersey and pa with temps below 20 and winds 15-30mph. Thats why i plan to leave around 2am for bestbuy. Also has anyone waited in line in these low temps over a couple hours and how long were the lines if you did around 2am.
queenofshopping Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 im in north jersey & despite the cold & wind im still going to walmart at 3...just bundling up i guess
RossMAN Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 Not really, it will only affect if we use an umbrella or not.
Mommie2one Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 It effects if I go at all. up to a foot of snow by tomorrow night. Storm hitting around the time I would leave (1am or so to Walmart)
baraginfinder Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 I'm glad that I'm not in a hurry this year. The only thing I'd really like to get is the Cabbage Patch at WalMart. I'm not leaving until 4:30. I might have to make it a little earlier though. I just checked the weather and we're getting about 6" of snow tonight. At least it will be warmer than this morning, it was 10 degrees at 6:30 but with the wind chill it felt like 0. Tomorrow it will be around 20 degrees. Oh how I would love to live in Florida!
89MustangGX Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 It's starting to rain here. I think I will leave earlier to make sure I get a spot under the overhand at the store.
christmasangel Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 It is bitterly cold here in buffalo- just got home from the in-laws. It is 15 degrees outside- i can't imangine waiting out in this tomorrrow morning!! I'm gonna freeze!
ramona1992 Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 I'm in SW PA - am leaving an hour early for my hour drive to Pittsburgh. I have 4wd and anti-lock brakes, so I'm not terribly worried.
donny2001 Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 Milwaukee Wisconsin the low tonight is supposed to be 14 degrees and the windchill factor of 0 or below. Good thing I bought a 4 pack of Hot Hands (Pocket sized warmers) at Kmart this morning! Im going to be standing inline at Menards around 4 A.M. Doors open at 6. I want my $30 pizza oven :) . Everything else I wanted (and a few other impulses) were purchased online from Radio Shack and Best Buy. Stay safe and warm DON
sigrist_2000 Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 leaving a little later but still will arrive hours before opening
alimfp Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 Most likely not, no. But is changing my plans a bit, picture taking won't be happening as much if at all. I think I have decided to hit one store, still debating on when to get in line. Sadly, it looks like I will be either packing the umbrella OR taking my heavy coat with the hood.
dustin0414 Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 i saw that pizza oven it is a heck of a deal. Did you see the crockpot menards has for like 19.99 after a 10.00 rebate. That sucker is huge and it has a spare liner that is divided for doing two different things. That is one thing i am after. I was in their store and saw it they are selling for like 39.99 before theor bf price that is just one heck of a deal.
Jenniferharrison82 Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 Won't really make a diff. here, western washington, just weather or not I'll be wet or dry..:)
threelittlecupcakes Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 No change in plans, we knew it would be cold. Right now feels like 2 below with windchill.
