  1. Well.... I mean I saw stuff there last night that Im pretty sure is BF stuff that Ive seen go on sale in years past. Whats the difference if I try to hide it now for Friday on the assumption? Plus its pretty obvious when they are setting up designated areas for air freyers, instapots, and other small appliances and mini fridges they dont normally carry & having them located near the bedding area. LOL I think our only hope is if they post the Ad on their website either after store close Wednesday night, or sometime Thursday morning..... Im not just going to stand inline to wait for the ad on Friday. They can kiss it, plus 11%
  2. That should be an error. We usually get it with the food flyers on Tuesdays / Wednesdays in which I didnt see it today with the food flyers. It will probably be in our Thursday paper which I dunno how many people ready anymore followed by Menards doing commercials like crazy starting Wednesday night into Friday. I was so hoping to get it today.
  3. Menards! I swear they must make a deal with the mob or something to keep it so secret. I got so desperate I walked around my Menards just to see what items I saw that are out of the ordinary & on end caps as Im getting tired of waiting. This year might be the year I finally get a wok! They look to have instapots, air freyers, a 3 burner griddle, and I saw alot of boxes of Queen Ann chocolates at mine. Plus some of the other usual stuff IE oversized candy and giftboxes, the boot warmers, and other various food items. They had the mini fridge that Target / Walmart are selling & a much larger mini fridge from Frigidaire. Again no prices but just what I spied tonight. Now I want the fleyer for the prices

    Menards

Somehow this one is always very tight lipped. But thats what makes this all fun I suppose. Even though its usually the same stuff (Cheap blankets, cheap Klements sausage, cheap candy) I still get excited seeing it, as I go every year & get some of those staples. Plus the people in line at Menards are always a trip. You stood out here how long for $2 blankets? Hey I love my dogs ok! LOL If you walk around the store you can usually see items that look out of place or are never there. A couple of off brand tvs, a couple of RCA TVs etc. i was going to take a walk tomorrow & see what else I see as I'm getting tired of waiting. LOL

    Menards

Looks like Menards will release their Ad on the 18th.... https://www.menards.com/main/footer/company-information/about-us/black-friday-2016-at-menards/c-13917.htm
  6. As much as I didnt like this when I first read it, I actually thought it was pretty good. The Target I was at had the barriers, then had employees about 10-15ft apart. There was a squad by the front of the door (There was a cart barrier and some rope for a little ways). The employees handed out a piece of paper 30minutes prior to opening that they gave to one person. The paper had Group and a number. So Im guessing they counted a certain amount of people and then when you got to the door you had to wait like 10-15 seconds. You barley even noticed it as the line was moving. The employees would point out to all of us the line jumpers and told us to hold our grounds but dont get violent on Target property. LOL Checking out at that Target was even easier as they divided the middle of the isle way where the registers were with caution tape and poles. As you approached the area they would tell you what lane to go to which was 3 people deep. Once the line got longer to proceed to checkouts they snaked up and down the health isles & had people making sure there were no line jumpers and told people how to proceed. So much easier than the free for all at Walmart. We even told one of the employees that & he said Walmart doesnt care about us & Target is the best store in the world with a plan! LOL The staff was excellent and the entire store at New Berlin Target gets my thumbs up! Don
  7. Im hoping this is the new Asus tablet with the Quad core processor. If so Im gunna have to stand in line for it.
  8. Id sit outside but my laptop doesnt work on battery anymore. Otherwise id lightup the grill and sit out there :) . No comments or emails about a new laptop. Thats on next years budget. lol. Maybe it will be in the 50s next year.
  9. hmmm Ok everyone stand by a strip mall that has both Kohls and Office Max stores in Wisconsin. lol Sorry its late Im hyper and kind of bored. lol Online shopping isnt as fun as being out in the freezing cold
  10. 6 years ago BB about 70 something inline before 8am (Except I line jumped to the front by accident. Didnt know when they opened, went to the door, doors opened and I kind of got pushed with the pile lol) 5 years ago #10 at bb at 4AM. Stood inline for my dad to get him a toshiba laptop (Got a big steak for that one ) 4 years ago in the 20s around 4AM 3 years ago about the same around 4AM 2 years ago around 3AM in the 60s. Last Year 4:45 AM 100 and something I only wanted dvds and got all but one. This year ........ Online shopping and staying warm. If I didnt have to wait for Amazons deals to be listed Id be in bed so I can getup at 6 to go to Menards and Target to get a few things then to work (Non retail).
  11. A bunch of DVDs from Deepdiscount.com totaling about $71 with the 20% discount code from this site! Including the Nightmare on Elm St box set I got about 13 dvds! That is a little over $5 a dvd. Later on around 6AM Menards for a couple of blankets for $1.85, chocolate covered cheeries. Target: Batman Begins DVD, and see if they will pricematch a few from Best Buy WORK: O Started a new job and have no vacation time yet. Oh well they will suffer. Im waiting to see what Amazon is offering then its off to bed :) They built a new menards around here a few months ago and a Target not too far that for the last 3 years I get all my doorbusters I want around 7-8AM. Common cheap PS3 at Amazon!
  12. I believe the sale on those are good until Saturday, but trust me dont wait till then cause I did that in previus years and lost out. I went right when they opened on Sunday and got it. I bought one for a friend 5 years ago from Menards and it still works and he calls it the best gift ever! Don
  13. If you have a Menards nerby they have a really nice one for $30. I FINALLY GOT ONE AFTER 5YEARS WHOOOO! :)

    Menards

the commercial showed shopvacs being grabbed by a bunch of hands. No prices or anything. My guess is they will have a shopvac. :)
  15. I have had this tv for a year (Wish I wouldve waited for this price), and I love it. Im having an issue with my surround sound on it (Samsung says my Internal mute is on but its not, and I have tried different RCA Cables and my stereo reciever). I only wanted surround sound for movies so I just hooked it up to the dvd player. Other than my small issue with it, it is a great HDTV for someone who is just getting into Hdtvs.
  16. DVDS are an awesome price. Id rather pay the extra dollar at Best Buy, since my Circuit City has lines to the register that wrap around the store (They have 2 registers and one at customer service). At least with Best Buy I get the DVDS I want for a little more, and will be in and out within 30minutes. That Samsung 50" DLP is a great price though! I bought last year at Best Buy for $1500. I feel like a sucker now. lol Picture is great, sound is great, overall I Recommend it to any first time HD tv purchaser.
  17. Sleep. I try to nap on Turkey Day, and then I try to nap around 11PM and cant do it. Then I end up standing inline around 3AM. I was lucky a few times to convince my boss to let me start work at noon or 1pm that day since small hardware stores are generally dead. Last year I requested the day off so I could sleep. My new job doesnt have a specific start time so its game on this year! lol So in short I sacrifice sleep
  18. Some call it road rage some call it my way of getting syched (sp) up. If you have seen the movie the Blues Brothers where they are driving away from the Nazis and you hear the music in the background (Cant think of the name of it, its on my ipod), I have that cranked up at 3:30 in the morning on my way to the first store. I get this sudden urge to drive really fast then, and people get out of the way. Do not mix with energy drinks or Mountain Dew or else you get a wicked rush. LOL I use the same music on my way to the next store when Im on the freeway.
  19. I didnt go to Best Buy last year, but when I drove by at 4AM the line was already all the way to TGI Fridays along the fence line. Ususally when I wanted a doorbuster that was that wasnt a tv or computer or digital camera, I would get there 2-4hrs before the store opened. Tvs and such I would say the earliest you can get there the better. Also Circuit City across the street has the tiniest line until an hour before they open. 2hrs before CC opened up the line would be like 2 people, then when they would open it would be like 30. Last year again different story due to the cheap laptops. Hope this helps. Also weather is a BIG factor. If its freezing cold you can go a little later. If its nice like this weekend is supposed to be early is the key. I will be there probably around 3:30 or 4 since Im only picking up dvds. Good Luck on your purchase.
  20. Went to Walmart Saturday afternoon, and was laughing when I saw an orange container in the parking lot. There was a security car sitting next to it. I told my parents when I was with them, that has to be the container holding the items they are going to advertise online! Knowing my luck probably regular stock items.
  21. Thank you all for welcoming me to the community! This is my second year here, I have just been real quiet this year. My viewing distance from my 27" tube tv to my sofa is about 12.5ft. That is why I first wanted the 56". When I read about the 50" the same features were offerd on this tv that I wanted that the 56" had, plus I have a direct answer on financing. Since I didnt have the 56" I dont think I will miss 6". I know I will like it. Now I have to just save up and by the tv stand for it in the future. The tv will sit on my mamaoth table I bought a month ago when I moved into my apartment (about 30inches long and stands about 2.5 feet tall). Thanks for listening to my ramblings. I think Ill try to get this tv this week.
  22. There will be a black friday ad. They are doin a heck of a job hiding it. In Chicago and in Milwaukee they have a commercial playing where a news reporter is about to read the bf sales and then he gets trampled by a group of people. It made me angry, I was foolish enough to sit on the edge of my seat thinking they were going to give away a couple of items. Then once he gets trampled on the commercial is over. Someone leak this before Thursday please! This way Ill know if I have to go Menards first or Best Buy or Circuit City! Its obvious Best Buy and Circuit City I could go to first, but if Menards has unbelievable prices it might sway me to go to meanrds to get cheap tools, and a pizza oven for myself this year! DON
  23. Jim, WHen I posted the message at 7:30 I went out with friends, then when I came home around 3:30 I checked their site before here so we both had the same idea! lol. Tempting offer though. Either buy a 50 DLP for 1300 or wait till friday and get a 56" Dlp for 1300. The only difference is financing. Since the 56" is a friday saturday deal, they dont have any financing in that ad for the 56" tv (Presuming then it is 90days). Thanks for your help
  24. Any prices on tvs? and what is the financing if I may ask?
