bethc24 Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 Does CompUSA have their Black Friday Sales available online? I hope so, since I am not near a CompUSA... Thanks!
_John_Lennon_ Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 Does CompUSA have their Black Friday Sales available online? I hope so, since I am not near a CompUSA... Thanks!I know that they do their weekly sale ads online as well, though their online stock usually sells out quite quickly. However I do not recall being able to get their BF deals online last year. (But someone correct me if im wrong.)
Daisimae Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 Thanks for the model number and specs. I like Toshiba's better than HP's and the freebie's are a nice addition. Can't wait to see what Circuit City has now. Are there any rebates involved with the CompUSA deal? I seem to remember CompUSA doing their BF items online. At least I think they did two years ago. I can't remember last year.
_John_Lennon_ Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 If $400 is without rebate, goodbye walmart. I would assume the deal is without rebates because there are other things, (like the DVD blanks) that specify after rebate. In the posts I have seen.
ebony0421 Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 I've seen a few things that I want and hopefully I can get them online, if not we have to drive about 30 minutes to get to the closest store.
mrsnshick Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 I'm wondering if the AR was missed when the loptop was posted since toshiba has a $100.00 rebate on this model which doesn't expire until the end of the year. The laptop normally sells for $699 before rebate. Wouldn't it be oh so sweet if the $399 was before the rebate? Oh well, I can dream can't I....
sperdue Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 This one looks pretty good. I'm trying to hold out for a great deal on one with a DVD-RW. Everything I've looked at the last few weeks is $900 and up. That's a lot of $$ just to be able to sit on the couch and burn a dvd/surf the web!!
happyrat Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 I could have had dvd players for $15 at Radio Shack if I had wanted one.
Mike Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 Damn, Ive been watching that Viewsonic 27" LCD. I thought $800 was a good price. $550 is sweeeeet.
burmafrd Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 We need a side by side comparison with the Walmart laptop. Can someone come up with it?
burmafrd Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 From what I can find, the CompUSA Toshiba has the edge in HD (5400 rpm vs 4200), and software. The walmart HP might have the edge as regards processor, and sound (Altec Lansing vs Realtek). HP vs Toshiba- that is a judgement call as regards quality, though HP would get the nod by most. pickem- though I guess one could say the risk to life and limb by shopping at CompUSA is less then at Walmart.

floridasun5 Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 Oh Oh Oh, I really hope this ad is true....and that CompUSA opens at midnight. There is a bunch of stuff that I want, and I'm scared of Walmart LOL
Brad Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 Until any of these can be confirmed, we are not going to post them on the main BF site. We were doubtful of the list that came out last night which is why they were not posted immediately.
erh12275 Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 Wow 2 different ads. Wondering which one if either is correct.
albrandwood Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 too bad CompUSA isn't really near me, DVD+R and wireless keyboard and mouse are nice!Last year all BF stuff was available on their website (shipping sucks, unless you go over $150, then it's only $0.01 per item)
albrandwood Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 Wow 2 different ads. Wondering which one if either is correct. Chances are 1st list is the BF early bird list, the 2nd list (some of which is current prices) is probably for the rest of the weekend. @
_John_Lennon_ Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 Chances are 1st list is the BF early bird list, the 2nd list (some of which is current prices) is probably for the rest of the weekend. @ Which I hope is the case, because the 2nd list is pretty much the usual run of the mill deals they have going on from week to week. (Nearly everything with a rebate that is.)
RossMAN Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 Wow 2 different ads. Wondering which one if either is correct. Join the club.
