copados1993 Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 Have you already spent more than you planned on for christmas? I have plus im not finished with my kids list I was waiting for black friday.Funny how we all tend to do that!!! You are not the only one!!! Don't feel bad!
best4less Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 Yes....and I am not even half way done. How sad!
avsfan Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 Nope! Anything I buy early is always a super great deal. I don't think I tend to overspend on gifts. We probably spend more on activities... everything from stopping for hot chocolate or a meal every time we go shopping to our annual night out at The Nutcracker.
Guest all2tired Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 I'm sure I will but with all the GC I got from Mypoints for TRU, it shouldn't hurt too bad but it'll still hurt
mama2ella Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 nope...I am almost done with my shopping and I think I have done pretty good...almost everything I bought was on sale
Kygal2003 Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 I've only got a few knick knacks...haven't really began shopping yet....waiting for BF!!
wildtama Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 I buy for xmas all year long. I am always on the lookout for a good deal :) So I may buy too much, but it's not really overspending. It just allows me to donate the stuff I don't have a recipient for, kwim?
audreyann0380 Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 haven't started shopping yet...since we moved I live in a larger area now and there are tons more places to shop YEAH!

erh12275 Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 Have you already spent more than you planned on for christmas? I have plus im not finished with my kids list I was waiting for black friday.Nope but...I did spend more on Christmas than I was going to. Went and put in a layaway at Kmart(have to hide the toys) and then went and put in another because one of the items I wanted they didn't have at the time and then I found out it was on sale this week...so had to run out at 9 am to get it.
laffnatu Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 So far I've only spent around $200 so I'm not doing too bad. Waiting for BF to do most of it.
vonnyb Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 So far I have gotten 2 gifts for my son a $20 clifford table and chair set and a $17.00 Video Now Jr . I am trying to wait for BF to get most of my shopping done. But I can not pass up a good deal.
Faith513 Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 Here in southern Mississippi most of us are strapped for cash since Hurricane Katrina turned our lives upside down. I want my daughter to have a nice Christmas, but time will tell. I have having to wait on BF so I will get some good deals.
wf2afcop Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 I am thank goodness done, a few more things on BF and I am done, just now trying to do the all the wrapping. Wish I could get someone at a BF sale to do that, I would pay TOP $$$ for that!! LOL
gijimenez Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 Have not spent a dime I refuse not until BF
smfritz03 Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 Actually Ive been doing great this year! I have lucked into some fantastic deals (like the OCC Bikes for $40 and $50 at TRU and the 19 in Mickey TV for $30)......So the kids will be having a fantastic Christmas this year and I will be staying completely within my budget! Now I just need to pick up a few more things for each chil (have 4) and somehow manage to snag a Gameboy Advance SP and I will be smooth sailing into the Christmas season and will be able to kick back and enjoy it w/out the "I HAVE to get out and shop this weekend, Im running out of time"..........:)
floridasun5 Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 Well I have spent ALOT more than planned in a sense by getting a new car in September which I hadnt planned on, but is considered to be my christmas present otherwise, I havent spent hardly anything yet on others, but getting VERY anxious! LOL I love to buy, buy, buy and Im trying to hold off until the season officially starts so I can enjoy all the Christmas sales/specials, decorations and all in the stores that I love.
