  1. yah, that's what we are finding. my co-worker needs to get one of these and we had no idea how hot they are the TRU won't sell her the display one they have! LOL!
  2. Anyone know of where to find this? that is, barring Ebay where they are being sold for crazy $$~! TIA!
  3. Finding it difficult to say also, but Walmart in SC did a fantastic job! Lots of merchandise, lines for the hot items like the laptop far away from where the other stuff was, price matching, AND unwrapping the pallets a few minutes beforehand. :) Plus, folks were just NICE to each other. It was a great experience.
  4. Ya know, I haven't decided. I was thinking Target. I am just not jonesing for anything in particular this year. I just like being a part of it. What are you on the lookout for? Will you be alone?

    Snow Cancels BF!

Oh my!! Now some of you have GOT to be die-hard BF shoppers to brave nasty weather like OH/PA/MI are expecting. ~~~ [ ] virtual cocoa for you!
  6. I am just amazed at you all who can actually plan ahead like that. There is no way I could make enough dough to have leftovers to freeze. But I dream of one day being that organized. :)
  7. I work in Florence!! Going to MB also. :)
  8. thanks for the reminder! i had forgotten that i had already perused some ads and made a list. :) You guys rock!
  9. It's been slim pickings at my Target lately. I did very well after Halloween. Was able to take in about 4 lbs of candy for the office. (*The girls jokingly told me that I had to look for "new britches" for everyone on sale next time I went!)
  10. Thanks for the tips. :) But with the crowds being so massive, don't they usually beef up the security?
  11. I really don't care about the ads now. I have this site
  12. In the mall, the doors are usually open before the store does. We went to K-B one year and just lined up outside the store entrance. (The gate was still down.)
  13. How funny! My mom just mentioned doing this for our kid this year. We are thinking that she will be overwhelmed with all the stuff and won't really appreciate it as much as if she were to get it over a 2 week period. I think we will play the song (12 days) and then let her open a gift. So glad to see that others think this way :)
  14. Too bad the shops in the airport don't participate in BF! Hopefully you have a person who can stand in line for you until you arrive. Have fun! Sometimes, it is just as much fun to grab the $10 deal as it is the big ticket things.
  15. leefamily: how much were the surefits? Our couch could use an update. thanks for sharing this MrsB, I think I need to stock up before xmas. :)
  16. what great ideas! that way the stuff is still serving a purpose even when it's bad weather. Love it!
  17. How very cool! That would so rock! Heck, you could be done in a few hours, grab a cat nap and head to the next town for when the "normal" hours start at 6! :)
  18. Volition rocks! It is such a great resource. I also use shopnchek (www.becomeashopper.com) and Service Intelligence (www.secretshopnet.com)
  19. Can you imagine doing the M&M one and then asking for a pricematch to Target on BF??? Thanks for sharing!
  20. Way too far to trek in the wee hours! So we will head up the night before like some other folks. :)
  21. I will be on the lookout for a totally strange item to buy for our "Hen Party". Have you seen the singing deer head? I think we saw it at Wal-mart. Too bad the silly thing is $100! A bit over the shopping limit.
  22. Is this still valid? I clicked on the link and didn't see anything for the RZ. Please help me :)
  23. Ok, I must have KMart amnesia :) Why am I thinking that I hit Kmart *after* dinner one year? Have they always opened up in the AM on Thanksgiving? (terrible case of mommy brain!)
