It was a pretty large package
sherril Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 FYI, my Target said the Halloween stuff will start going on Clearance tomorrow (Wed). Maybe it will start at 30%, maybe 75%. they had tons of stuff left over though. mine was already 30% off on MOnday 10/30
meo Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 I bought the comforter set in the same pattern for my daughter... I wish they still had this roll pillow!!! It would be awesome :) We bought the ribbon curtain to match, and I saw a ribbon-covered bulletin board at our Target on Saturday for, like $5... 75% off... but it looked too cheap. Now off to Lowe's to use the $10 coupon to paint the room to match :) Joanne Ok, I think this will probably please Gator Pam....LOL (along the veins of "hooked") -- Last night I dreamed that I was shopping, and saw these body pillows (interestingly enough, I was not at Target...I think it was a thrift shop, my other addiction) and was desperately trying to find contact info for Joanne...LOL!!
AndreaInNC Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 Will target accept a return on an item that has been used? I want to take it back and get a refund but not sure how they are about items that have been used....Yes they will .. all you have to do is tell them that it doesn't work as advertised.
AndreaInNC Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 I was at Walmart last night, Halloween stuff (except candy) was 30% off. Target Halloween will be 50% off tomorrow.

I managed to track down the receipt for a Tmobile phone I bought at Target, but discovered there was no Tmobile service in my area. The packaging was completely gone, I had the phone, and all the papers, etc that came with the phone. They did refund me my money(one of the papers had the UPC code on it, made it easier)Generally, it's no questions asked at Target.

I took the ice cream maker back today and the employee never asked me any questions so I didn't volunteer any! It was an easy return process! Thanks again! Michelle

buttaflye Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 Yes they will .. all you have to do is tell them that it doesn't work as advertised.I'm taking back the Smoothie Maker tomorrow. I'm still upset that it doesn't work.
shopping mom Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 I went after work today and bought a buch of stocking stuffers for 50% off at the dollar spot. I had the pink FP camera put away but I am going to return it to Wal-mart. The red one at Target was 5 dollars less and had the SD card. The play-doh was not on clearance yet here though.
tazolover Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 Went to Target today and I was in total disbeleif! They were COMPLETELY out of Halloween candy. Crazy! I did score a Hamilton Beach Classic Drink Master Mixer for $7.48 (normally $29.99) Will make a nice gift for someone this Christmas!
becca0884 Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 I picked up the BBQ Pit Crock Pot at my Target today. I wanted one of these when they were still $100! I finally saw them drop to $24.98 a few days ago and snagged one!! :]

caramel Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 Well yesterday the clearance isles were kinda lame but I did pick up one of the new velour hoodie jackets in clearance price! I could only find one that was a size medium and picked it up and didn't realize that it didn't have a tag. The girl at register didn't feel like calling that department so she started punching in some numbers that were on the care tag area of all places! I was like huh?? The hoodie was already on sale from $16.99 to $12.99 but it rang up as $4.98! I didn't even realize this until I was on my to my car...
dealer1 Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 Just purchased a Huffy basketball system # 088080009 for $17.48 (was $69.99). Actually I bought two because for that price they can play basketball full court mode! It has a 44" eco-composite backboard and adjusts 8-10' in height. I think the base is a 28 gallon size.

I've been avoiding Target because I'm saving the for Wii I preorder at TRU .. but I might just have to go and look for this one! My kids have been asking for a bb goal.
ilalynch Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 I have heard from alot of people that there is no candy to be found at Target. I went to Walmart yesterday and couldn't find any either. Is it at 50% today? I live an hour away and want to hit 75% and I am hoping it hits Friday!
becca0884 Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 I was at Target last night around 8pm CST and the Target candy aisles were devoured. Someone must of forgot to buy candy until the last minute.
KJF Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 No candy here at mine either - not much of anything at mine. Dollar spot 1/2 off - waiting for 75% since they had tons of stuff. They were loading in all the Xmas stuff now & playing Xmas music!
AndreaInNC Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 I have always had a problem finding candy @ Target the day after the holiday unless I am the first one there when they open the doors. I don't think Target generally orders alot of candy because I know if I wait too long to buy it - it's usually gone before the holiday even gets here.
becca0884 Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 I just went to another Target and only saw M&Ms for 50% off.
bugsette Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 wow I was at 2 yesterday and both had quite a bit left but that was yesterday morning before noon
kamandjaw Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 Where in the store did you find the basketball goal system?? Is it near the bicycles and other sport related items? Also what city are you located in? I just bought a basketball goal for Christmas for my son and I would love to take it back and get this one for $17.XX.
bizzyangel Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 I went to two targets today and they had a ton of candy. I am hoping they will have some left until Friday morning so I can pick some up before work. There goes one advantage to having a daughter born 10 days after the holiday.
sgnelson Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 Does anyone know the date that the dollar spot will be 75% off?
KBsDarling Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 We have a feb 17th bday and she is a pink maniac so I just LOVE Valentines clearence LOL totally curious about where the basketball thing is as well....How "big" are we talking I mean...is it even possible to scan??
westway Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 Dollar spot will go 75% off on 11/2 according to the date on the 50% off sign
MandaJo111 Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 I hit Kmart today and they had TONS of candy left!
Gator Pam Posted November 1, 2006 Author Posted November 1, 2006 Dollar spot will go 75% off on 11/2 according to the date on the 50% off sign This lines up with what I remember. One Spot/SSS going 75% on a Thursday. I believe Hallowe'en clearance will go 75% off on Saturday, and then whatever is left will go 90% off or salvage on Tuesday.
mm54321 Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 Just curious, since the scrapbooking stuff recently went 75% and salvage, how long is it until the next round of new markdowns? I'm a scrapbooking freak, so I'm definitely interested in keeping an eye on this stuff. Do they only do this during seasonal changes, or is there some other determining factor? Thanks!
