Well, my hubby just swiped the 55 inch tv that I picked up on Black Friday 2 years ago. We had it in the bedroom and now it's on the back porch so we can watch husker games out there! I had gotten a 32 inch the same year for the porch but this year he has decided it's not big enough. Now I'm watching tv in bedroom on the 32 inch. He's right...not big enough! So, I guess another big tv is on the list! Lol

You'll love having that 50/55 inch in bedroom! We got one 2 years ago at 218.00 at wally world and it's been awesome....like having theater in the bedroom!

I suppose I'm hoping for a cheap laptop. Mine is 6 years old and desperately needs upgraded....maybe a new tablet, too. Hubby would love to have a tv in the garage (I'll never see him if I get him one...hmmm....). I'm sure "the boy" will want something electronic. And...movies, movies, movies.

I definitely don't go during turkey dinner time but once we eat, all is fair game! LOL

I was looking through some old emails to my bestie about wally world last year....found this: Walmart was on the news this morning. The story was saying how they are only doing the 6pm start time and how they aren’t really doing “doorbusters” this year…just having the 1 hour guarantee stuff and lots of good sales. So pretty much, everything is a go at 6pm. So far, I’m after the Legos, the 28.00 tablet, and dvds. At Kohls I’m after the comforters and maybe I can even get those earlier in the week on line. I’m guessing Amazon will be doing lots of pre-sales, too. On the actual Friday stuff maybe go over to the mall and hit the lego store to get their freebie and maybe my purse store (Vera Bradley) if they have a sale. Decisions decisions decisions!!! So that was my excitements last year! What will be on the list this year!!!??? Kinda funny to read it 6 months later!

Man, I know it's only June 1st but I'm really starting to itch for the Black Friday discussions to get going!!! DVD's....small appliances....TVs....laptops....tablets....and a partridge in a pear tree! I'm soooooo ready for the Gotta Deal Tshirt discussion and the what time to get in line, which store to go to first.....the "will amazon be matching that price?".....the "maybe I can get it all done on line"....and of course....the people who swear they aren't going because it's wrong to go on a day you are supposed to be with family. I love it all and can't wait for it to get going again this year. Been doing it for over 20 years now....a lot has changed but one thing hasn't....it's still a load of fun preparing for it!!! Correct....my question is...is it worth the 10 bucks to have the voice remote? 24.99 for standard remote and 34.99 for voice remote. Thanks for any advice you can provide on this. Much appreciated!

I see that Amazon has the fire stick for 24.99. I've been thinking about getting one and this seems like a pretty good price??? It co Es with a standard remote. They offer a voice remote for 10.00 more. For those of you that have it....is it really worth it? I currently run my Netflix through my Wii and it's a pain to search for things when "typing" as you have to use the up and down keys to get to each letter. How does the standard remote for the fire stick work? Thanks!!!

Woooo hoooo! Finally got my orders to go through! Took me two hours but I got the Legos! Now I will hold my breath that they don't get cancelled! Time to go to bed! Good luck everyone....keep trying!

My best friend was visiting me from out of state last year and she wanted a tv. She asked if she could have one of the tickets instead of actual tv. When we got back to my house she was able to go online and fill out the info and it asked her what store she wanted to pick it up at. She was able to pick the store by her house! So, in answer to your question...last year they shipped to whatever store you wanted! Hopefully it will be the same this year (my bff spends everyurkey day week with us and we always go Black Friday shopping together! She lives in Indiana and I'm in Arizona!) Michelle

My stepson broke his tablet and wants a new one. I was looking at the two that are offered on the ad and available today. He's not going to take real good care of it when he's with his mom so I'm happy with the prices. Can someone tell me if one is better than the other? The keyboard is nice but not necessary. He keeps saying he wants one with the little green guy (I'm guessing he means android). Thanks!

Excited to get the kohls ad!!! I don't buy a ton of stuff there but they always have some nice deals. My little town only has a Walmart so we hit that first and then make the 30 mile trip to hit kohls and target and whatever else. I'll probably pick up all the small appliances that are 4.99 after rebate. I try to get them every year...great small gifts! With rebates and coupons and kohls cash...they usually end up being free!! Might pick up one of the king size 19.99 comforters. So excited....Black Thursday/Black Friday is getting close!!

Hi All, Does anyone know if Lego Stores have black friday specials? We will have my stepson for Christmas this year as he is now in the same state as us. He's a lego nut and we will want to get him some. I know that in past years walmart usually has a pretty sweet deal on them. Figure I will get the walmart special on thursday night and hoping the Lego Store has something to offer on Friday. Anyone have previous experience with Lego Store black friday? Thanks!!! Michelle

Hoping that walmart has one of their awesome Lego boxes again this year. My stepson is living in same state now and we see him every other weekend. He's 12 and he's a lego nut. Need to start building up his collection at our house!!!

Looking forward to the new sales for next week!!! I did a bunch of price matching at wally world on this week's stuff. If you are going to wal mart for the 3 pack of erasers for a penny.......the ones they have in the school supply section are a 2 pack. If you go back to the office supply area you will find a 3 pack!!! Can't wait to see what the penny deals are next week. Trying to hold off buying anymore stuff til the ads are posted.
